So I'm looking to get switch from my ego c upgrade to something I can adjust the voltage wattage ect... I've only been vaping for about 3 weeks but I haven't bought a pack since! So I figured ill spend a little bit of money on a good mod. I use an ego c upgrade with either my kanger pro tank or my vivi nova, depends on my mood. But which one is better?

The zmax was my first apv. I've had it for about a week and love it.
The only problem with mine is the LCD screen is a little tilted but the device works perfect.
The only thing I've noticed is that before changing batteries, I suggest turning the unit off or it may have a minute delay when a new battery is inserted.

Ego 650 passthrough Joyetech, Mini Sigelei Zmax, Sigelei Zmax V2, Vamo. Playing cards, small battery 18350, larger battery 18650.

It really depends on what you want the Mini uses an 18350 battery, which normally run in 700 to 800 mah range. Full size Zmax uses 18650 which normally run in the 2000 to 2250 mah range.

Vamo does have the option of removing a section to use the smaller 18350, or using the 18650 in the form pictured.

Of course there is always the V3 Zmax which will take either of the above and the 18490/18500.

Zmax has a one button menu, Vamo has a three button menu.

I like my Vamo, but I like the Zmaxes even more, both do the same thing. Zmax just does it in a lighter and slightly smaller body. I also think the Sigelei Zmax is a little better made, but that is just my opinion. Either one will serve you well, no wrong choice here.

Fasttech has good deals on Vamo, Exhale is hard to beat for the Zmax mini, VaporTek USA also carries the Sigelei Zmax. No matter what you get, get a decent charger and IMR batteries.

I have both and both are setup to handle the 18350 or the 18650. There are some things I really like about the Vamo and some things I really like about the Zmax.

Since you use the Protank you should have no problem with the Zmax. But if you decide to try the Evod or the new mini Protank you will have to buy an adapter At least with the Smoktech Zmax anyway.
