if we must go with chainmail, there's no reason it can't be fashionable

I really MUST have these. Perhaps they make gauntlets for my arms as well.
 
I'm leaning towards kevlar. it's hard to find chain mail that provides any real protection for women

What do you mean it doesn't provide any real protection for the ladies? That chainmail bra covers all your most important assets. We do need to find a way to protect your hands for cooking though...

I didn't even know they had stuff like this! I'm getting that t-shirt and hoodie. Never had any luck with leather pants though. Be sure to stock up on baby powder before the zombie apocalypse.

Mea culpa, replace slash with stab. Come to think of it, chain mail isn't really puncture proof either as the thrusting broadsword and more effective war hammer (with spike) proved. You'd need a class III bullet proof vest to truly get high level puncture resistance. I'd hate to get foiled (ha ha) by a simple screw driver or ice pick after taking a couple dozen hits from a pistol.
