Zombie plan of the week

For this week's plan I nominate the University of Florida. Obviously a forward thinking educational institution.

Forget swine flu: The University of Florida is ready in case its employees become flesh-eating zombies.

A plan to deal with a campus zombie attack was posted among disaster preparation exercises on the university's e-Learning Web site, before being removed late Thursday afternoon.

The plan includes medical information on "zombieism" and a form allowing UF employees to explain why they killed infected co-workers, such as those workers making "references to wanting to eat brains."

This week we are going to add the cruise ship. I know this plan is not helpful for you folks in the middle of the usa, but hopefully you can make it to a big body of water and find a ship.

Well, we had a new guy show up at the last minute and submit a plan for the week. It has gotten good reviews, so I will make it the ZPOTW!!

Now the obvious downside to this plan (at least the way its presented) is the one way in, one way out. This makes defending it easy, but if you get over run, it makes escape almost impossible. So, for the ZPOTW, we are going to make it:
EC32-6 OPARUS UNDERGROUND SHELTER SYSTEM

But with a new plan- 1-2 escape hatches just in case.

Now, my fear with this plan would be, all hell breaks loose, we all run into our underground houses, the government in a last ditch effort to save us, pushes the button and basically nukes us, and the aftermath has junk falling upon our escape door(s) locking us into a prolonged, slow death. sooner or later the food runs out, the water dries up, fuel for the generator runs out and we no longer have clean filtered fresh air and we die a slow agonizing death. The up side to the plan is at least being buried underground, the chances of the super zombie Mac finding us and using us for experiments is slim. I say add a self destruct button on the off chance all exits get blocked or the zombies find a way in, so we can at least die without turning into the walking dead and at least take a bunch of the freaks with us. BOOM!!

Wow, I don't even know what to say - I didn't write a speech or anything. I'm truly honored. But you know, a Zombie Plan of the Week can't be accomplished by one person. I'd like to thank all the others who contributed. The zombies, because without them, where would we be? Debating the relative merits of the latest cartomizer and atomizer. The great people at Radius Engineering, who build these shelters and make the world safe for zombie apocalypse survivors everywhere. And most of all, I'd like to thank you, my fans.

From what I can see in that picture...
Pool cues (obviously)
Trash can
Take down the "no smoking" sign and use the edge to slice their heads off
bar stools

not in the picture: just before ducking out, use the alcohol to create a zombie BBQ, a la Shawn of the Dead

Don't forget the pool balls themselves. Dropped into a sock or wrapped in a towel, they make fine kinetic weapons. Swing a couple of times around to get momentum and it's more energy than most people can develop with a 10 pound sledgehammer... Very, very, effective on living or dead.

There should be knives used to slice fruit, or a baseball bat or gun hidden under the bar.

break into the jukebox, sharpen the edges of the CDs and use like throwing stars.. errr.. disks? With a little practice and a lot of luck, maybe you could lop off a head or two...

Sorry...I didnt do the plan of the week this week due to my father being in the hospital. Thought I was going to lose him Sat night. The bar, will be this weeks plan and I will get back to being a regular poster again soon. I have been working a little on some new zombie tools/weapons (lots of free time sitting by the bed in ICU) and I will be posting in that thread later as well.

Thanks all...I should have updated when I posted, but he actually got out of ICU yesterday and into a regular room. He ended up having his 5th major heart attack so his total stats: 5 heart attacks 3 strokes and still kickin!

Saturday night was the worse night, thats the night the nurses called me into the hallway and said he wouldnt make it and to say goodbye. Its also the night I picked up a regular cigarette again. I have been down to 0 nic for over a month now and had gotten rid of all my nic juice. The fine folks at VaporBomb have sent me a priority package with all sorts of nic juice, so Hopefully I will be right back on the vaping in no time. Its amazing how quick I fell right back into 3 packs a day after 8 months with no cigarettes. So if anyone else is getting down to 0 or low nic, keep a bottle or 2 of nic juice on hand cause you never know when you may need it.

Anyways, wanted to say thanks to everyone and update his condition.

Oh yeah, forgot to add, its my youngest sons birthday today and now all 3 of my kids are officially licensed to drive...damn I am old.

Nicotine at times like those makes perfect sense- it's probably a requirement. It would be for me- glad you have some of the better tasting kind on the way.
