Come share your post apocalyptic poetry here. I'll go first:
Mob rule
I woke up one day and fired uncle sam!
I had money in the bank and a weapon in my hand!
I don't need your roads!
I'll put out my own fires!
I will settle my own scores if someone steals my tires!
Then one day the mob showed up a beating at my door!
You are rich so you must die!
To give to us the poor!
I pulled out my gat!
I emptied out my clip!
If you think you can take what's mine you had better get a grip!
Bullets whizzed and blood was spilled!
I stood really tall!
I emptied two more clips and then I emptied one and all!
Bodies filled my yard!
As far as I could see!
But the mob was mad with hunger and still they came for me!
They came in through the door!
And through the window too!
My last few shells soon hit the ground and there was nothing I could do!
They dragged me to the street and told me to repent!
That's when I realized this one truth!
There will ALWAYS be a government!
