I almost made a crazy purchase yesterday based on my fondness of Star Wars. They have a Mauser C96 at the gun shop down the street. I didn't look at the price because if I had, I would have justified it somehow.

I only shot 5 rounds with the guy. He told me to go ahead and empty it, but I just did the first 2 for the feel, then 3 in succession, and had about 5". Being unfamiliar with it, and without firing a handgun for over 10 years, I think that's pretty good. From reviews that I read before I went to meet him, it supposedly will throw slightly under a 4" group no matter what load you've got. This thing shoots like a .22 with almost no recoil.

I was thinking about another tool when I was charging my batteries last night. I love my GLV, and really like my Infinity, but the batteries are different. I would definitely keep the GLV for its durability, but the different batteries and availability of batteries got me to thinking that a GG might actually be the best survivalist device due to their ability to use any battery type. I'm not a huge fan of them, but I just got thinking about this last night. Any opinions on how to keep vaping during the apocalypse?

Get the largest diameter tube and use spacers to make up the difference in length if you 'have' to. You can use masking tape in a pinch to increase the outside diameter of a battery but don't mummify it. They still get warm so thin strips vs wide so you don't catch fire. Note: this is for survival purposes and not for everyday vaping! While the risk of catching fire is small, it's still present as you should act accordingly.

Looking good Muddy! I've been seeing a lot of ARs for sale lately. I really need to get some stuff sold!

my plan? the darwin. plenty of battery life and it uses a mini USB to charge. you can get a solar mini USB charger for under $20.

I see those type of chargers pop up in the deals and steals thread quite often with discount codes for really cheap. A USB device would make it easier and lighter for charging, that's for sure. Are you using the Darwin now?
