Hey All: After investing in all kinds of new equipment it’s time to venture into New Flavors! I’m looking at the Mt Baker Vapor ejuice and am impressed by their selection of Flavors as well as their prices. I have been mixing some of the Flavors I purchased from other vendors and find I’m partial to thicker ejuice so I’m considering going with a 50 50 blend of VG PG for all the Mt Baker Flavors!??

Also they have the option of adding Extra Flavor Shots to the order. I would like to hear Your opinions with this? Have you added Flavor shots? Is their a distinct difference or advantage with adding shots? I do care for a stronger flavors with most is it worth it to do so with Mt Baker? What is your experience doing so? I’m considering adding 2 to 4 shots to all the flavors? 15 & 30ml.

Has anyone gone this far? Can you add plain VG to it to mellow it out if its too strong? Would I be dancing on dangerous ground going 50 50 on the VG PG? Please all comments are Welcome! Give Me Your 13 cents worth! I’m considering 9 or 10 Flavors it will be pretty decent investment I don’t want to be making too big of a mistake! Which I have done already with others!

By the way I will be using these New Flavors in Vivi Mini Nova’s, Kanger MT3’s, Phoenix Atomizer, Various Single & Double Coil Cartomizers and some new Carto tanks that just arrived if it makes any difference?

Thanks

I vape all juices at 50/50, it's pretty much what I consider my most perfect blend. I've never done any extra shots with Mt. Baker Vapor but I had a friend who frequents there say it's a good idea to add 1 extra flavour shot on 30ml orders because "otherwise the flavour is too weak."

I personally felt like my flavour was pretty good with the juices I got from them but to each their own. You can delude the juice with pure PG or VG, it's something I personally haven't done but I know it can be done. The exact ratios for it to be "just right?" That'd probably take some experimenting.

my last 3 juice orders cam from MBV. i usually do 1 to 2 flavor shots in 80/20 pg/vg. i just recieved the 3 30 ml bottles which i ordeered plus 2 additional free 15ml courtesy of the good folks at MBV. I never tried a 50/50 blend from them so i couldnt help you in that department but the flavor shots are well worth it especially if you plan to go that low in pg content. i hope this helps you.

I can not tell you anything from personal experience (I am new) but from what I have gathered here lurking the forum adding flavor shots does make it stronger flavor wise. Some ppl prefer a more subtle flavor and this would not be for folks who are like that which you have already stated that you are not one of those types. The only other drawback I have seen from adding extra flavor shots is you can run the risk of the flavor becoming "too perfumey" and/or having more of a chemical taste. As far as adding vg to mellow it out logic seems to say this is a good idea and it would work, that being said I personally have never tried it so I could be wrong (I do call myself an idiot vapor so do not hold me to anything lol). As far as making a big investment.............. if I were you I would make a smaller investment of what you think you want with the flavor shots try them then go for the big investment when you are sure it is in fact what you like. Also if you are going to use cartos I would be leary of the thicker (ie higher vg) Higher vg blends killed my cartos but they did push me in the direction of my new best buddies, the clearomizers for my 808. And as mentioned before I feel like the village idiot when it comes to this whole vapeing thing so i dunno if this is even worth two cents.

I'll be sure to let you know, I've never tried MBV as I have haven't heard of them before watching Phil Busardo's most recent review of them, I'm in Oregon so a Washington vendor is fairly close, and I'm all about purchasing things as local as possible. I did some research and found a lot of happy customers, so I'm planning on placing an order in the next couple days, and I'm going to order a few juices in standard strength as well as with 2 shots to compare the flavor between the two.

Evidently the owner, James Thompson, is also a dealer at silver reef casino. I like to do research on who's juice I'm buying.

So if you want to wait a week or so I can answer your question, hopefully someone else will respond in the meantime. ;)

I’ve ordered from MBV and have been pleased with their juices, customer service and prices. A good vendor to deal with.

In terms of the juices, I tend to vary the PG/VG based on the flavor. Dessert and fruit flavors for me are best at 50/50 (I also get those in lower nic levels); tobacco-type flavors are best at 70/30 PG/VG for a bit more throat hit.

I tend to get the extra shots on juices that are just one flavor, such as blueberry or black licorice (with the latter being one of my favorites from them). Really punches up the flavor. But, for their more complex mixes, extra flavor can make it too over the top. For example, I found Hawk Sauce to be sort of OK as a standard mix; adding extra flavor made it taste pretty bad.

But with juices, what’s horrible to one person is just lovely to another. The only way to find out for sure is to order the same flavor in different ratios and strengths and see which works best for you.

I find the 2012 Awards link invaluable....great place to start....at the top and working my way down. When I look at a vendor I look how many reviews a flavor has....then I jump on the bandwagon. I haven't found a juice that I didn't like using this procedure. Haven't been doing it long......but somehow I must be doing something right. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...63-reals-time-2012-ecf-juice-year-awards.html

I typically order the 15ml size with no shots just to judge the flavor and decide if i like it. When i order one of the larger bottles if i felt the flavor was weak, i add 2-4 shots. I typically get all of my liquids as a 50/50 blend. To me is the best blend for th, thickness, and flavor, but the trick is finding the pg/vg blend that you like best.

I get 3 extra shots because otherwise the flavor is too muted. You can always cut it with 50/50 nic unflavored if it's too strong. But I have a horrible time getting enough taste out of my vapes. I tried to go more PG in my ratio but I am too sensitive to it.

Anyway at MBV I started off at 1, then 2 now settled on 3 extra shots. I like the freebies of course and they give me new flavors to try but as is, with no extra shots they are too weak. Yet others will say you don't need the extras. That goes to show how different setups and tastebuds can be!

I usually diy but heard so much about this vendor I decided to try a few. Got five 15ml bottles with one extra flavor shot and haven't had a chance to try them yet. They ship very fast ordered Sun nite and received Wed morn all the way across the country amazing and the extra bottle they included was just one more plus. Sure hope the juices are good but all my tanks are full right now.

im a glutton I guess, I need the max of everything & then want more after that lol. So the only way is to start making my own as im thinking if I make Menthol as this is what I smoke, I can cut back on the nicotine & tweak till I find what im looking for, then retest nicotine level & lower or raise the mg level. I know 18mg was very weak to me tho when trying my first vapor.

My first order from them arrived a few days ago; I ordered 3 flavors @ 12mg/max VG w/ no extra flavor shots. I was quite happy with everything they sent, although I would be tempted to get an extra flavor shot when I reorder (especially if I get a larger bottle). As a matter of fact, the extra flavor they sent (cotton candy) I thought was 'meh' at first...and now it's one of my faves. :D

In the very short time I've been vaping (see my sig- I quit smoking Valentine's Day), I've cut my nic % from 24 to 12 without any ill effect, and will reduce it even more as I place more orders. The nic % really does seem to change the taste, IMO.

PS- I'm a "supertaster" so my sense of taste is already pretty sensitive...and I've got a very keen sense of smell (finally lol).

~ Thanks to All that have Replied! You’ve got some great opinions as well as great information! Thank you! Being New 2 months into my Vaping experience I have made quite an investment into equipment but not nearly as much in Flavors! After being quite disappointed in finding Tobacco Flavors that Really Taste like Tobacco! So far being a now Ex Camel Filter Smoker I have Not found any Flavor that is even close to actual Camel Cigarettes! Though I think that My Freedom Smokes ‘Desert’ is the Best Tasting of them all mixing their PG & VG standard blends it’s still a Far Cry from what the Real Taste of a Camel is really like!

~ So, now I’m Off to the Races on Finding Flavors I truly like! Again my Freedom Smokes Wins with their Mass Menthol! I’m mixing their PG & VG together to get the right mix & flavor for all my equipment! Vape Dojo’s Cinnamon (Red Hot) Jutsu Premium Vape Juice has a Great Flavor but is just Not Strong Enough for me so I decided to find something that I could replace it with hence Finding MT Baker! The reviews are what turned me in this direction and it’s the reviews that have kept me coming back.

~ It's time for an order that’s why I posted here to Hear what You All have to Say about them! Their Prices, Fast Shipping and the Fact you can Boost Flavor by adding Shots goes a long way with me! Their Cinnamon Red Hot & Extreme Ice is where I’m starting both Real Bold Flavors! Then adding some Fun Flavors Orange Dream Bar & Amaretto, Root Beer Float, Black Licorice also Wintergreen which I like to blend with the Menthol & Tobacco Flavors! Then on the Tobacco side their Virginia Fire Cured Tobacco these are the ones I’m hoping will work for me I want to add their French Vanilla & Carmel Coffee as there are a couple Girls in my life I’m trying to turn on to Vaping I thought these two Flavors might help! Since I purchased the Phoenix & Octopus Atomizers I can Drip away tasting as I go! Maybe you have tried these flavors have an opinion about them? I’ll keep checking back! Again Thanks for taking your time to reply!

I have ordered their candy bar at 50%VG and 50% PG. No extra shots, BUT the next time I am going to order an extra shot. I love this stuff. There is a vendor I like alot better, but their stuff is good. I have ordered the red hot cinnimon, and I did get an extra shot. This flavor is good, but very hard on the throat. Good luck in your vaping.

Hey Skullman, I know this is an old thread now, but I was a Camel Wides smoker for 17 years. If you haven't tried it yet, it may be worth your while to try Liqua Turkish Tobacco. I tried it on a whim due to its really low price and good reviews. It is a really nice Turkish flavor that is my go-to juice when the urge for a cig hits me. It is more of an authentic (unburnt) tobacco flavor that has become my favorite straight up tobacco flavor. I ordered it from Fasttech because it is only like $5 for 30 ml with free shipping. It comes from china, but Liqua is made with all Italian ingredients, and Fasttech is a really fast and good company from my experiences with them. ( I am not paid by them or anything). Here is a link.

$5.61 Authentic LIQUA E-liquid for Electronic Cigarettes (30ml) - Turkish tobacco flavor / 12mg/ml nicotine at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I hope this helps because it really helped me.
