Safer to run a single or dual coil?

I have KTS mechanical mod and I also have a tugboat v2 clone rda. I want to use 26 gauge kanthal at 1.1 ohms. With a 18650 battery. Is it safe to try to run a dual coil set up or will it fry the battery?

What kind of battery are you using? C Rating? Mah?

Shouldn't be any issues. You will only be pulling 3.8 amps from the battery at 1.1ohm. So regardless of how your coils are oriented or the amount of coils, as long as you have a total resistance of 1.1on your atty you will not even be close to frying your battery.

It is the total resistance that matters not the configuration.

It's a 2000 mah battery. It came with the Kamry KTS starter kit. I think I'm gonna go buy a more well known reliable battery to just be safe

Good idea, look into Sony VTC4's. They are great.
