So im new to vaping about a month into it and about two weeks ago I wanted something better than my ce4s so I bought a rebulidable Vivi Nova and I LOVED IT. up until these past maybe three days the vape production just diminished, lots of flooding, and nil flavor. and I dont know why ive changed and clean my atomizer every day and it just sucks now and im pretty upset that im enjoying these ego ce4s better than my vivi nova

On the atomizer head there is a rubber seal that fits over it, did u remove that? I did on my protank and it flooded like crazy. Once i put it back it was fine. ]

I've always had the same problem with the top coil vivi novas. The rubber seal wears down and then the top doesn't make good contact when screwed on. The other problem is the coil should have been reverse threaded. When you screw the top off, the coil can unscrew. Just not the best design. I'm using only bottom coil tanks now and they seem to be much better. If using bottom coil, I would recommend a dual coil take for better vapor production.

One thing to be very careful of would be replacing the top silicone gasket that fits on top of the coil head, if it's upside-down it will leak and flood. I've had very good results with the original Vision Vivi Nova, the knock-offs and clones like Smok have gotten less than stellar reviews.

I’ve been vaping just under a year and have only used the Nova system to date.

I’m really happy with the vape I get. However, I keep running into design issues with the Nova tanks.

When I was just starting out and was still extremely clueless about vaping, my first ever vaping purchase was two 3.5ml Nova tanks and matching batteries. I’m from the UK and chose a well recommended company to buy from and all seemed well.

My only issue was the batteries. I wanted more conventional batteries and longer charge time so I wanted to upgrade to a Vamo mod.

At that point I found my Nova tanks were not the original Vision Vivi Nova. The thread system was entirely different and was called Vgo2. I have researched adaptors extensively and found there is nothing available anywhere that fits my Nova tanks. Also, I have tried several times to for help with adaptors from the company I bought them from but with no luck at all.

I therefore decided to buy new Genuine Vision Vivi Nova’s with a 501 connection along with a new Vamo mod.

This is where I’ve run into the design issues with the genuine Vision Vivi Nova’s. Although my first Nova tanks were obviously clones they are actually better than the genuine ones in certain ways.

The air holes in my old clone VN’s are much better designed than the genuine Vision VN’s for two reasons.

1. The clones have 2 airflow inlet holes instead of 1 which gives far better airflow.

2. On the Vision VN’s the main hole for the airflow channel is simply drilled all the way through the middle of the centre post. That causes them to suffer from frequent flooding of the air hole. E-liquid drips down through the atomiser head and directly into the air hole in the top of the post. The liquid in the air hole then causes gurgling and also causes liquid to leak out through the air hole. I’ve tried various ways to try to prevent these leaks but they always come back after a short while.

On my clones the centre post isn’t drilled right through. Instead, another hole coming in from the side near the top of the post provides the outlet to suck the air through. Therefore when you look at the top of the post there is no hole. Any liquid that drips past the atomiser simply drips harmlessly into the cavity around the centre post and misses the side hole. Hence, no gurgling or leaking.

I’m therefore stuck with either being forced to use the specialised Vgo2 batteries on my old clone VN’s and can’t use my mod or using poorly designed Vision VN’s that leak all the time. The only solution I can see is to try and make an adaptor to use my clones on my Vamo mod.
