Vapefly TIM
Today I bring you a POD type device from the Vapefly brand. A device in collaboration with Dampfalot TV. This device has a 1100mAh battery, interchangeable coils, 4mL capacity among many other features that we will discuss in more depth in the review.

Packaging
The device is presented to us in a fairly elongated rectangular box that combines the black of the background with the gold of the letters as is usual in Vapefly. The packaging does not match the color of the device, it shows the special color of Dampfalot TV (a German reviewer who has designed this product together with Vapefly). Above we see the brand of the product and just below the TIM model, which is the acronym for Tasty And Intense Moments, the product's slogan.
On the side, certain contact directions with Vapefly are presented to us on a black background, in addition to some typical vaping warnings.
On the back it begins with a brief description of the product, commenting that it is a collaboration with Dampfalot TV. Just below we are shown some main features of the device. Also at the bottom we find a scratch to verify that the product is original and a barcode that also indicates the color of the product.

Here, we are simply shown the color of the product in question and all those available, in this case Silver is marked.
If we slide the lid of the box the first thing we find is the device nested in a custom-made pad. Under it we have a hole to be able to remove the device more easily. I should note that it originally comes wrapped in a small bag for safety. The pad is somewhat difficult to remove to access that double bottom where the cable and replacement coil will be found, but it is minimal.
If we organize everything a little, we end up with something like this. The device on one hand, the Type-C cable on the other and the spare coil as well. In addition, one is already pre-installed in the cartridge.
Device Inspection
The device is stick-shaped with very rounded edges, which gives it a modern and aesthetic appearance. At the top we have the cartridge, which we will talk about in more depth later in the review. If we continue going down we have a window to observe the amount of liquid we have left, I recommend filling it when it is still above the cotton of the coil.
In the middle part we find an area shared by the button and the screen, which show quite important information in addition to having certain functions.
The product model, TIM, is shown at the bottom.
Here I show you the screen and its respective information.
On the left side we are shown the battery percentage, which will decrease when reaching 75%, 50%, 25% and 0%. In the center we are shown the wattage at which we vape and on the right the ''A'' indicates between ''Automatic'' mode or ''D'' if it is in ''DIY'' mode. At the bottom left we will see the Ω of the coil and on the right the voltage at which we vape, which will range from 0.00V to a maximum of 6.00V.
Regarding functions
5 Clicks - We will turn on the device
5 Clicks with the device on will show a menu in which we will be given the choice between DIY or AUTOMATIC mode and we will also be able to turn off the device.
2 Clicks - The battery percentage will be shown from 0% to 100%
3 Clicks - It will let us change the wattage in 0.5W increments up to a maximum of 30W, then it will reset to 5W and start the cycle again.
4 Clicks - They will lock the button and it can only be activated by auto-draw
4 Clicks with the button locked - They will unlock the button
Now differences between DIY and AUTOMATIC mode.
In DIY mode we will be able to change the wattage between 5W-30W regardless of the Ω of the coil
In AUTOMATIC mode we will simply be allowed to change the Wattage between the one recommended for the coil.
On the left side we are shown the battery percentage, which will decrease when reaching 75%, 50%, 25% and 0%. In the center we are shown the wattage at which we vape and on the right the ''A'' indicates between ''Automatic'' mode or ''D'' if it is in ''DIY'' mode. Design
The design of the device is a bit different from what I am used to. At first it seems a bit bulky for some reason, but the device feels comfortable to hold and comes in a color representing the flavor that you got. It has smooth, rounded edges and doesn’t punch you in the face with branding. The branding on there is just a subtle black bar with the brand “Maskking” on there. On the back it says the flavor you have and on the front is a hidden screen. You don’t even see the little screen it has on the front, cause it’s completely hidden inside the housing. You only see the little LED’s showing you the battery percentage and the percentage of juice you have left, after taking a hit.
Flavors
Both flavors of this device are extremely accurate, but I definitely preferred the watermelon flavor. I personally didn’t notice all that much ice on the flavor, but that was a good thing to me. It’s something to keep in mind though, if you are really looking for that icy flavor, cause if you ask me, that wasn’t that noticeable in these ones, as in some other vapes I’ve tried.
Watermelon Ice
Honestly a very true watermelon flavor. Not like eating an actual watermelon, but definitely a recognizable flavor if you’ve ever had watermelon candies or something else with that artificial watermelon flavor. You either love it or you hate it, I think, but I personally loved this one.
Grape Ice
As soon as I opened this package, I was hit with that well known smell from the grape flavor. Anyone who has ever vaped something with a grape flavor, probably knows exactly what I am talking about. It felt like one of the only fruit flavors a few years ago, so we have probably all tasted it. I used to like it, but I noticed I don’t really like grape flavors anymore. That’s just my personal flavor and preference. If you still like that typical grape vape flavor, this one is definitely for you.
Performance
The dual mesh coil in these devices offer a great flavor experience. It does have a tight draw though. I don’t know if this is from the dual mesh or just because it’s a 1.2 ohm coil, but the draw was very tight to me personally. I like a tight draw, but this one was even tighter than I’m used to. At first it took a little getting used to, but it didn’t take long before I really enjoyed the draw this device gives you. We also can’t deny that the device’s 12k puff count is something really impressive. I also personally really appreciate that little discrete screen the device has built in.

The Maskking Axi 12000 brings some cool features to the table, with an impressive puff count, a variety of flavors to cater to different tastes, and the added bonus of an internal LED screen. Despite the tight draw and the subtlety of the ice flavor, if you're in for a disposable vape adventure with a sleek design and reliable performance, the Axi 12000 could be your go-to. In November, Crystal the Hellvape representative informed me that I would be sent a new RDA to review in early 2024. The package arrived practically during the Christmas period and was a welcome surprise for me. I received two color variations for this test; one is the always elegant Gunmetal and the other is the flashier Gold colorway. The Drop Dead 2 is a 24mm RDA made of stainless steel. The postless deck can be used for both single and dual coil setups. Its ideal location with the dual coil configuration is with the dual battery Mods. However, even with a good single 21700 Mod, the DD2 RDA pairs well thanks to its compact dimensions. Naturally, the package includes a perforated Pin, and if you prefer you can also use the DD2 RDA with a Squonk Mod.

Hello and welcome. I’m excited to be back with you today for another review. This time I will be doing my best to provide you with a fair and honest review on the Hellvape Drop Dead 2 RDA that was sent to me by Hellvape. The Drop Dead 2 is a 24mm bottom feed rda made of stainless steel. It has a post-less build deck that can be used for both single and dual coil configuration. It makes use of two sets of 18 honeycomb airflow holes to provide superior flavor. The airflow can be adjusted in rows or columns for a total of 21 different airflow configurations.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:
The packaging for the Drop Dead 2 RDA is the usual black and orange but has a little bit of a different design on the front. Of course the Drop Dead 2 RDA name is printed on the front along with the Hellvape name and logo in the top right corner. There is a color picture of the DD2 RDA on the front but as you can see from the circular sticker, the picture is not the same as the stainless steel rda inside the package. The back side of the box has some features listed along with a contents list and company information for Hellvape. I received both the stainless steel and gunmetal versions for my review.
Once opened, the rda is seen sitting in a foam insert with a spare drip tip sitting off to the side. The box sitting below the rda contains all of the accessories including two coils, cotton threads, coil cutting guide, spare o rings, squonk pin, and two allen wrenches.
As is the case with all types of atomizers, it’s a good idea to clean them thoroughly before using for the first time. The DD2 rda is easily disassembled for cleaning. It’s my understanding that the DD2 is a combination of the Drop RDA and the Dead Rabbit RDA. This is evident in the logo on the front of the DD2 which has two D’s with a Rabbit in the middle. The original Drop Dead RDA had only two rows of seven airflow holes where the DD2 has three rows of six holes and allows for 21 different airflow settings. The airflow can be set by level or by row thanks to the deck design.
The original had raised posts on the build deck while the DD2 has a post-less deck design to allow more room for building with dual coils. The liquid capacity has also been increased from 4mm depth on the original while the DD2 has a 6.2mm depth. This obviously allows for more puffs between dripping and squonking depending on how you prefer to use the DD2.
The DD2 comes with one wide bore drip tip installed that is decorative and adds to the aesthetic appearance of the atomizer. There is also a second tip included with each rda. The o ring that secures the drip tip is in the top cap rather than using tips with o rings. There is diagonal knurling on the top cap to make it easier to grip when turning to adjust the airflow. The bottom of the rda has the name etched into it which I greatly appreciate. Sometimes after I have a tank or rda for a long time then I might forget the name of it so it’s nice to be able to flip it over and get the name.
I decided to install dual coils in the stainless version with the squonk pin which is easily changed with the included allen wrench. The new deck design gives the user plenty of room for easily building dual coils. I used the two .37 ohm Ni80 coils that are included as well as the included cotton thread. Even with the two coils installed there was plenty of room to move and adjust the coil positions. I feel like you could put some really large coils in this one.
For the gunmetal version I decided to try a large single coil since the rda is advertised as using single or dual coil builds. I had a bunch of 5mm Ni80 coils that I bought some time ago for a different rda so decided to try one in this one since there is so much room to build. I did cut the coil legs a little longer on this one since I wanted to try to center the coil. I believe I cut the legs at around 6mm but am not sure as I had to trim them a little after. The 5mm coil fit in the space very easily and produced very good flavor and vapor.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Once again I feel like Hellvape has come out with yet another good quality rda at an affordable price. For me, the Drop Dead 2 RDA performed well both with single and dual coil builds. The flavor and vapor production on both single and dual coil builds was very good in my opinion.
It is a nice touch that they decided to include a second drip tip so the user has a choice but also can use their own tip if they don’t end up liking the ones included. I personally liked the appearance and the feel of the tips that were pre-installed on the samples that I received.
The top cap that you turn to make airflow adjustments was a little stiff initially but it was not too stiff that it made it difficult for me to turn. It needs to be somewhat stiff so that the airflow adjustment doesn’t move unintentionally. The chamber of the rda goes on to the deck securely and locks into place so the chamber doesn’t turn when you make airflow adjustments. The two o rings on the deck hold the chamber securely enough that I could lift the entire mod and rda by lifting from the chamber.
I really don’t have any complaints on the new Drop Dead 2 RDA. In my opinion, Hellvape has produced another very good quality rda. I’d like to thank Hellvape and Lisha for sending the Drop Dead 2 RDA samples for this review. Also a big thank you to the readers for sticking it out until the end of another one of my reviews.
