I got back into vaping after a 2 -3year Hiatus I found that Salt Nic has become a game changer.
Salt Nic being more mild allows Nic level higher than previously imagined.

IMHO throat hit can come through two methods. Raise the Nic and Lower the temp or Lower the Nic and raise the Temp.

I vape close to 100% VG and currently am
vaping 40mg/ml DIY Liquid at 12-14 Watts. Back in the day I was vaping 5mg/ml Freebase l liquid
at 40-50 watts. I'm currently using the GeekVape AP2. I have one gripe about the AP2. It's so good that I can't find anything with as many features to

Intro:


Wattage adjustments are made in full watt increments from 5 to 95W, it does not round-robin from 5 to 95 and vice versa. To access the modes which you have enabled (as described above), quickly hit the fire button 3 times. Two arrows should show up on the UI indicating the option to scroll left or right using the directional keys. If the directional keys do not change the firing mode, then you do not have any other firing modes enabled via the Setting submenu.

Quick Hotkey Combos:

> Turn device on or off: Hit the fire button 5 times quickly.
> Lock directional keys: Hold right directional button and fire button for 1-2 seconds.
> Flip the display upside down: Hold left directional button and fire button for 1-2 seconds.
> Access enabled firing modes: Hit the fire button 3 times quickly.
> Access the main menu: Hold the left and right directional buttons for 1-2 seconds.
> Adjust wattage in TC modes only: Hit the fire button 4 times quickly.

The display can be changed to 1 of 7 different color schemes in the main menu labeled "UI".


UI Changes:


The top 3 photos above show the progression of the Vandy Vape chip. From left to right, is the Pulse V2 Squonk mod, Gaur-21 mod, and the Pulse V3 Squonk mod. They all display the same information, just changed around a bit. The bottom 2 photos show the change in the UI for the Requiem mod. One of the main differences in the new UI is that the battery indicator also shows a percentage value. This is a nice addition however, the indicated battery levels still show differently from when the batteries are charging which has been something I've noticed in Vandy Vape's chips for a long time.

The two bottom photos above show what the device says when not charging (55%), but when plugged in, immediately shows a lower battery status (40ish%). Admittedly, these values are much closer than in the previous chip used in the Pulse V3, which can be shown in this review. Now, this discrepancy is only something to note, as it doesn't necessarily make or break the mod, but personally, I like to accurately know how much batter I have left when I leave the house. When not plugged in, this chip will always show you having more battery than when the battery is charging whether it's internally or externally.


Performance Numbers:


Without getting too unnecessarily deep into the numbers, there are 3 main things to point out from my testing. At the bottom of column 3 is the voltage readout when firing the mod. With a 0.77Ω Innokin Z Coil, it topped out at 5.99V which confirms the presence of a step-up converter a.k.a. "boost" in the chip, and that it reaches the advertised 6V output. This is very important and something I think every single coil mod should have.

In column 4, this is the calculated amp draw given the voltage output and coil resistance. Unfortunately the lowest coil I could find to test out the max amp draw was a 0.14Ω dual coil OXVA Arbiter RTA, and it went up to 26.5A. Based on my calculations, this mod will likely reach about 31A of the 34A advertised, but for a mod that only goes up to 95W, 31A should be more than plenty to remain on the safe side of operation while still getting great performance. You might see a slight dip in wattage output with a 0.1Ω coil, but I don't think wattage is what you're going to have to be concerned with using a coil that low in resistance (watch the heat!)

In column 5, you can see that the wattage output of 98.3W and 97.3W both exceed the max advertised wattage of 95W, so this is a solid performer for low, mid, and mid-high resistances below 1.0Ω. Any coil above 1.5Ω and you might be better off finding a mod with a higher voltage output cap.

> Easy to use

There really isn't too much to knock about the Vandy Vape Requiem Mod. It does what it says it will, and offers a unique feature in the menu that sort of sets Vandy Vape apart. Only time will tell how long the choice of plastic (PSU) and aluminum will withstand over extended use, but from what I can tell in the two weeks I've tested it, it seems it should last you a good while; long enough to make good use of the product for what its currently priced at. If you use the code "VVRM" at SourceMore checkout, you can drop the price to $33.89 as of this post. If you're a bronze member, the price should be even lower. More of a rant, but i rlly am concerned.


New to vaping, just started 'bout 1-2 weeks ago, can't tell how long its actually been bc school has been stressful. (its why i started vaping in the first place, i mean that and other stuff going on in my life.)

Noticed my throat would start swelling, at first i thought it was because i was sick but it would only really happen after i vape. Maybe i'm wrong and that it really IS because i'm sick (still hasn't gone away)(school has been a big pain in the ...)

I do have eczema but i forgot what type of eczema i was cursed to have. (Lost the doctors paper thing) (couldn't read it anyway) maybe its also why my throat swells? Nothing else swells tho, just my throat. Or maybe its the gosh darn menthol

► Vaporesso Target 200 iTank 2 Edition; First Impressions:
Vaporesso TARGET 200 Mod has been aesthetically updated with new materials but also with an updated firmware and a new Tank. The Kit adopts the new iTank 2 atomizer which uses the latest generation anti-leak GTX coils. Considering that it is a device with dual 18650 external batteries I find the Mod to be incredibly ergonomic and compact. Vaporesso claims that the Target 200 Mod is approximately 16% smaller than competing dual battery devices.



The generous shape of the bottom of the Mod contributes greatly to keeping the device firmly in a vertical position even during charging. The opening door in conjunction with the mod ensures correct safety venting in the event of battery malfunction.



The opening system on the bottom is a slide and the closure is interlocking. A simple and effective system. You can insert two 18650 cells following the polarity indications on the inside of the door.



Three torx screws hold the Cup to the Mod. The 510 pin is spring loaded and is gold/plated. The TARGET 200 steel cup is raised and has a diameter of 25mm, this allows the use of several medium/large aftermarket tanks without causing scratches on the mod or unsightly protrusions.



I received the "Navy Blue" color version for this test. The side panels have been enriched with soft eco-leather cushions. The leather material has been applied to make the product more durable for outdoor use and at the same time more comfortable in the user's hands.



The frame of the mod is made of zinc alloy. The rear part houses a central metal bar bearing the writing "Vaporesso" arranged vertically, at the top there is a T6 screw. The handle is rather comfortable because from a rounded lateral section you pass to a rear profile of very small dimensions for a Dual Battery Mod. All this aids grip.



The front part of Target 200 is well connected and is almost entirely covered by a dark screen which includes 4 circular buttons.
The top button (the largest) is the Fire button. Below the display there are the Up/Down adjustment buttons + the (very convenient) "mode" button to quickly enter the menu. Below is the Type-C charging. The TFT screen layout uses many colors. The user interface with additional features is revamped and uses easy-to-read fonts. The display shows the following information; battery bar, set power, Wattage, Voltage, Bypass), power mode, Ohm, Volt, puff counter, last puff duration.
► Operation Guide:
• Turning on/off: 5 clicks on the Fire button
• Screen lock/unlock: Press the Fire button 3 times
• After connecting the Type-C cable to the Mod, the battery indicator indicates the percentage of charge and the remaining time
• Access to the menu is done by pressing and holding the "menu" button until the mode starts flashing, using the "+" and "-" adjustment buttons you can switch to other desired power modes, to confirm press the Fire button or wait 5 seconds
• To access the full settings, press the "menu" button 3 times, once inside, use the "+" and "-" adjustment buttons to adjust the various parameters. To confirm, press the menu button.

• Axon Chip Includes protections: Low/High Resistance, Overheating, Short Circuit, Overload/Overdischarge.

• F(t) mode
This mode automatically adjusts the best temperature, speed and heating time of the resistance. According to Vaporesso the F(t) mode adequately releases the flavors of the liquid and offers a perfectly balanced tasting experience consistently from the first puff.

• PUL (Pulse Mode)
It is a mode designed by Vaporesso to improve the vaping experience through constant voltage output. It is stated; an increase in flavor, a maximized perception of nicotine with a great Hit, and a vapor with a perfect and constant temperature.

• DIY mode
In this section it is possible to choose and set three power levels (VW): Soft, Normal, High. You can also set the VV supply from 0 to 9V, or the BP (Bypass) mode

• Smart function
The very useful Smart function reads the resistance of the coil you are using after being activated, automatically setting the power to an appropriate wattage.



► Vaporesso iTank 2 Edition;
The iTank-2 tank has been recently renewed and derives from the original iTank awarded by vaping360.com as the best Sub-Ohm atomizer of 2022.



Mainly I noticed the good construction quality of this tank which is solid and well finished and can be easily dismantled for cleaning. Included in this kit is a domed glass to increase the e-juice capacity from 4 to 8ml.



One of the main innovations of iTank-2 is represented by a new filling method which consists of a convenient button to press. The spring inside the mechanism forcefully snaps the top cap to the side. The engraving of a "red reference dot" in the Top-Cap indicates where the opening button is located. The filling port is protected by a silicone membrane to avoid leakage problems.



iTank-2 uses a two-way adjustable AFC system called "Turbo Airflow" which guarantees a large air flow but also good puff shrinkage. The rotating bezel of the AFC is equipped with rotation stops and is very well applied to the base. The base adopts a self-circulation system of the electronic liquid, in practice the internal conformation facilitates the recirculation of the condensate to vaporize it again, reducing the loss on the bottom. The base must be unscrewed and separated from the Tank to insert the GTi coils from the bottom.



► Vaporesso Mesh Coil GTi and vaping test:
Vaporesso supplies two coils from the new GTi range with this tank, both suitable for DL type vaping.
• 0.2Ω GTi Mesh Coil (60-75 W):
Using the Smart coil function, the Axon chipset sets the power of this resistor to 55W by default, therefore 5W below the recommended range (60-75W). Operation is very smooth even at 55W with a good activation speed. I found my sweet spot at 65W with AFC wide open! A coil beast that projects us into a world of dense clouds and excellent flavors. I was really impressed! However, I expected these excellent performances because I have always considered Vaporesso as the company capable of designing the best pre-packaged coils in the entire sector.

• 0.4Ω GTI Mesh Coil (50-60 W):
Using the Smart coil function, the Axon chipset sets the power of this resistor to 40W by default, therefore 10W below the recommended range (50-60W).
Compared to the previous one, this resistance provides a slightly narrower and less satisfying vape in terms of flavor. Also in this case the steam production is maximized. At 50W I found my "Best" in combination with an AFC opening of 3/4. In general, the 0.2Ω coil has an overall higher performance, as it should be. However, the 0.4Ω resistor allows for longer battery life.

I liked this entry-level kit, I didn't find any notable defects and it really has many advantages. The double 18650 battery guarantees considerable vaping autonomy. The protective design of the Target 200 frame was designed for outdoor use without fear of drops, mistreatment or accidental impacts. The comfortable form factor conveys a good feeling to the user. The cage structure of the Target 200 is really well made to keep the dimensions of this device as low as possible compared to the 2 external battery mods of the competition, furthermore the weight that is felt in the hand is really bearable. As the vaping market matures, products are becoming more and more similar to each other, and to beat the competition Vaporesso has invested heavily in the research and development of innovative modes such as the F(t) mode or the pulse mode direct current (which Vaporesso was the first to introduce). As for the iTank-2 system, Vaporesso supported by its parent company SMOORE International, has set new standards of innovation in the industry. Hello all! I hope someone can help me here. I have an asmodus minikin v3s, an excellent mod, however I am running into a most frustrating issue. I did not set a password when I got it close to a year ago. 2 days ago I dropped it, and when I picked it up, glass intact, it asked me for a password, after flashing a warning that under 21's couldn't use it. Returning to the long-lost box of @Ispy sir , a strawberry smoothie is the base, which according to the manufacturer is "Malaysian made" and "creamy milk, but above all with striking and fresh strawberry notes". Well, I hope this nice-sounding description is not just an attention-grabbing blurb that may disappoint you when steaming. Sniffing the aroma, the notes seem rather faint. A little strawberry, plus a tiny bit of milky, with a barely perceptible scent. Starting to steam it, I immediately ask myself: where are the "startling and fresh strawberry notes"? On inhalation, you can taste a strawberry flavour, mixed with creamy milk, which doesn't change after exhalation. The strawberries are not bad, quite fragrant all in all, but not sweetened at all, as if they had just been smuggled in. The milk is a bit creamy and tastes like boiled milk. I don't know how the Malays do it, but strawberry milkshake doesn't taste like that here. I would think the drink would be sweeter, creamier and fruitier, but what you get is a drier, fruitier smelling boiled milk with a side flavour aroma. This flavour could have been interesting and tasty, and it was very well thought out, but unfortunately the execution took the flavours in a different direction. So I didn't find anything in the product that I could later say would make a refreshing Malaysian strawberry smoothie one of my favourites.
