SXK Ceto 2 DNA60C - anyone own one and if you do would you recommend it?

Hello everyone, next Saturday when I get payed I am planning on getting my first Boro mod, as out of my collection of 52 mods I am yet to own an AIO device and want one.

I was going to get the Vandy vape Pulse V2 which was £54.99, but on discord someone told me of a deal on the SXK Ceto 2 DNA60C at just £67.99.

I don't yet own a colour version of any of the DNA boards, so it would be nice to have as I like to use TC as well.

I just wondered if anyone owned this mod, as I have looked for reviews online but can't find any.

The RBA I will use will be the Ether Boro RBA which includes both the Boro and RBA as it is on sale for £13, so I will have a full DNA powered Boro kit for around £81.

If anyone does own this mod, could you let me know of any pros and cons, as I will likely buying this mod- it is quite expensive for me but I would rather pay more for the DNA board and being able to use Escribe than spending a bit less on a mod that may not be as good.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks, Conan.

Hellvape Fat Rabbit Solo 2 RTA by Infinium

NDpNL5B.jpeg

My personal full immersion into hybrid RDL-cloud atomizers, which began in 2025, continues. After the Hellvape Dead Rabbit 3, which I discussed in February and found truly exciting, it's time for the Fat Rabbit Solo 2 RTA. It was kindly gifted to me by HealthCabin.

jJDrF1P.jpeg

Fat Rabbit Solo 2 RTA by Hellvape comes in the usual orange box, protected by a plasticized sleeve. As will be seen later, one side of the box features a scratch and check sticker to verify authenticity. The included accessories seem somewhat fewer compared to other Hellvape atomizers

sFVSPST.jpeg

Inside the box, along with the Fat Rabbit Solo 2 RTA by Hellvape, there is a 0.37 Ω Ni80 Fused Clapton coil (3 mm diameter, 5 parallel wraps), a screwdriver, a 2.5 mm coil jig, plenty of o-rings, a bubble tank, cotton, spare deck screws, and a user manual. Usually, there is a second drip tip, and the screws are only flathead, whereas in other models, I have also found hex screws. Fortunately, nothing is gold-plated.

vD1B1GM.jpeg

The Fat Rabbit Solo 2 RTA prominently features two independent airflow controls: the top ring is connected to a side airflow system, while the bottom ring manages the bottom airflow. It has a 25 mm diameter and a height of 41 mm, excluding the pin and drip tip. Weighing 57 grams, it’s a solid choice for an atomizer that Hellvape classifies as a single coil. Depending on the tank used, the capacity is either 5 ml or 3 ml.

1WI4B1f.jpeg

The drip tip is truly stunning, somewhere between a marble and a zebra pattern (in my case), styled as an 810. The o-ring is placed in the top cap rather than at the base of the drip tip. The drip tip slot is flat, which, as will be seen later, allows for the use of an 810-to-510 adapter—especially since the chimney, for an RDL atomizer, is not oversized, measuring "only" 6 mm.
The top cap features a bayonet-style locking system, with two small tabs holding it in place. A quarter-turn unlocks the mechanism. Despite the knurling on the ring, opening the cap requires holding the airflow control ring to prevent the tank section from unscrewing from the deck. The refill ports are generously sized to accommodate any type of container.

uIcWhoo.jpeg

The first part of the airflow system is fairly standard: dual mirrored slots with no honeycomb pattern (though these will be present in the deck). To remove it, as shown in the picture, the top cap must be taken off. A stopper helps when unscrewing the top cap.
The glass sections are held in place by an o-ring located beneath the airflow ring. The bubble glass has a diameter of 28.5 mm and a 5 ml capacity, while the standard glass is 25 mm with a 3 ml capacity.

dTIh7Cq.jpeg

The chamber and top cap are a single piece with no joint sections. Now visible are the two honeycomb patterns, highly appreciated in the lung vaping world. The chamber walls draw air exclusively from the top airflow, but they can be closed off to use only the bottom airflow.
The chamber also features a well-crafted threading for securing the deck. There is no liquid control system.

OAwZMTM.jpeg

The deck is completely open with a postless configuration. As mentioned, the Fat Rabbit Solo 2 is mainly advertised as a single-coil atomizer, but it's possible to fit two coils, provided they are placed close together to avoid contact issues.
As always, wicking is essential—without proper cotton placement, performance suffers. There’s no need to overcomplicate things: the cotton tails should drop straight down parallel to the chamber walls and be inserted into the small wick slots. They should touch the bottom but without excess, following the golden rule of not overstuffing, as there is no juice flow control (JFC).
In single-coil mode, Hellvape recommends using a 3 mm coil or larger. The one shown in the picture is 2.75 mm, and the side walls/small juice well still accommodate the build effectively.

W0zfBBF.jpeg

Speaking of rebuilding, here are the tools provided by Hellvape: a flathead screwdriver and a coil trimmer, which I’m starting to think they’ve produced in bulk, all stamped with a "5" to indicate the leg length in millimeters.
The bottom pin is gold-plated, and the CE mark and disposal instructions are also present.

di1SYTt.jpeg

Unscrewing the pin releases the positive post along with its insulator. I believe the airflow ring is press-fit, as trying to pull it from above is blocked by part of the deck, and pulling from below doesn’t work, even when placing it in the freezer.
Like the one above, the airflow system features a dual standard slot, which can be completely closed off, allowing the Fat Rabbit Solo 2 to be used exclusively as side airflow by opening the top slot.
Finally, when using the Fat Rabbit Solo 2 with an adapter (not included in the package), it seems to fit a 510 connector "made by Hellvape." However, it might be better to opt for a wider one or limit yourself to very mild builds.

BE2FhWb.jpeg

Airflow system: Having two independent airflow rings seems genius, but in the end, the internal "design" is quite similar to what is found in many atomizers, like the aforementioned DR 3 2024.
When only the bottom airflow is closed, leaving the top airflow open, the draw feels strange, too short, since the air takes a much shorter path compared to mirrored systems. When only the bottom airflow is used, the situation improves to the point where it can be used on its own.
If both airflow rings are used together, they must be opened to the same extent, or else the draw will feel unnatural. The recommendation for optimal heat dissipation, especially with complex builds, is to use both, perhaps closing them slightly more than when using just one.
Regarding noise, despite the large airflow entering, any configuration remains relatively quiet. As for stability and contrast, it requires a bit of practice, but it’s achievable.

Flavor performance: Fewer flaws compared to the DR 3 (whether RDA or RTA), with even more intense flavors, especially with mild builds. The flavor is sweet, but thanks to the honeycomb and the restricted chamber, it’s less "flat" compared to other atomizers.
The bottom-only airflow configuration seemed to offer the most aromatic and defined flavor, proving my point that top-airflow lung atomizers (RDL) have much less to offer in terms of flavor.
Depending on the build and heat dissipation (since air doesn’t reach the sides), the airflow can be opened more, and to maintain contrast, adjustments can be made on the drip tip. So, bottom airflow provides better flavor, but some extra care is needed if you want to create a very contrasted RDL.
Of course, it’s recommended to use liquids with at least a 60 VG 40 PG ratio or higher.

Build: With 26 gauge wire, there's no need to use oversized tools (a 2.5 mm is enough; in the picture, it’s a 2.75 mm), as the cotton channels are easily accommodated, and the cotton tails naturally extend to the right length due to the coil-to-deck distance.
For a "full" flavor experience, there’s no need to overdo the coil wraps with single wires—6 wraps are more than enough.
As an atomizer, it is designed as a single-coil RDL, and fortunately, this is the case; to tighten the draw, there’s no need for tricks like those used with the DR 3.

mklM1Yv.jpeg

The finish of the stainless steel, compared to the DR 3 2024, seemed inferior and more in line with the DR MTL 2.
The pros of the Fat Rabbit Solo 2 include the open deck, making it easier to rebuild. Despite having a bottom airflow and no JFC, it can be refilled from the top without leaks, as long as the airflow is closed.
It could have been an excellent low-cost original RDL, but it still performs well in terms of flavor and overall value.
The Hellvape Fat Rabbit Solo 2 RTA Atomizer 5ml is available for $22.61 at HealthCabin, with an active MAR15 code until March 31 for an additional 15% off the entire catalog https://www.healthcabin.net/hellvape-fat-rabbit-solo-2-rta-atomizer-p/30197.html

I would like to thank the staff and community of e-cigarette-forum for the space, and HealthCabin for the gift.

Edited post

A post by me (#15 in Who Remembers thread) was edited a short while ago by a moderator. The image in the post was removed, but can I get the filename of the image (it was probably an image from one of my galleries, if so I would've posted the URL to it) so I won't post that picture again. If it's the picture I'm thinking about, I'm pretty sure it doesn't have any inappropriate language in it.

Thanks

Hi all! Im from Toronto. I started doing cigars 2023 when my friend introduced it to me. But since I can't smoke cigar on winter, I started looking into vapes for winter.

Bought a Voopoo Drag X but then it started leaking all over so now I have Vaporesso Forz TX80 and way better. Started doing DIY on the 0.4ohm coil. Bought the coil and the cotton at Aliexpress.

Now I wanna sell my Voopoo Drag X but don't want my ad to be deleted.

Advken Mad Hatter RTA by Infinium

3GALazl.jpeg

When the men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving low
Go ask Alice
I think she'll know

Throwback to an Advken product released around 2021, borrowing its name from the RDTA version, which in turn was inspired by the Mad Hatter from *Alice's Adventures in Wonderland*. The design truly resembled the character's iconic hat.
The product was gifted to me by Advken.

G7OmLWa.jpeg

As with every Advken packaging, always paying attention to design, with a black box and gold patterns featuring the silhouette of the Mad Hatter RTA. On the back, white text lists the box contents along with a scratch-and-check code to verify authenticity. Inside, you'll find the Mad Hatter RTA, an optional tank, a screwdriver – 2.5mm coil jig, and in the black pouch, spare screws and O-rings.

UpgYgVA.jpeg

The Mad Hatter RTA by Advken is a compact RDL atomizer with a 24mm diameter, a height of 38.5mm, and a weight of 42 grams. The capacity is just 2ml, but it can reach around 2.5ml using the bottom-fill trick. Airflow enters from below but is guided through a wall or turret, which, in addition to bottom airflow, makes it a hybrid side airflow system. It was released in 2021 and is still on the market today.

zDGfOMy.jpeg

The drip tip follows the standard 810 format, with no O-ring on it, as the seal is placed inside the housing. As will be seen later, using an 810-to-510 adapter is possible.
Perhaps a less elegant detail, if it can be called that, is the top cap, marked with an arrow for opening. No locking mechanisms are present, with all the sealing and friction relying on the gasket beneath the cap. However, Advken makes up for it by avoiding a childproof gasket and instead designing a generously sized refill port, allowing refills with chubby bottles as well as less vape-friendly containers.

zwaEBnS.jpeg

The top cap can be completely unscrewed with a Torx screwdriver if deep cleaning is needed. The gasket is quite different from those commonly used today, which are thin; the one on the Mad Hatter RTA is much thicker, almost press-fitted. Even using pliers and fearing I might break it, I couldn't manage to pull it off.
It doesn’t seem to absorb liquid, as there shouldn't be any leakage seeping under the gasket.

The exploded view of the Mad Hatter RTA showcases its simplicity. The bell and top cap form a single, non-detachable piece. A good amount of steel is used in the chimney-to-bell connection, which doesn’t overheat, thanks to the generous airflow despite the compact size.
Attaching the tank to the upper part of the top cap feels more natural and convenient, allowing for bottom refilling as well. The bell has an internal thread that screws directly onto the deck. There's no juice flow control (JFC); instead, the liquid is drawn in through a small gap where the cotton freely absorbs it from the deck’s surface.

The bell is almost flat on the inside, with a slight taper near the chimney, giving it a touch of Belarusian design. Dimensions:

- Internal height: 7.5mm
- Internal width: 15mm
- Chimney width: 6mm

So, it's not the usual RDL atomizer with an oversized bell. This was one of the reasons I was curious to try it, as I find more compact bells to be significantly more flavorful than larger ones.

The deck features parallel posts, with unfortunately gold-plated screws and small cotton retainers positioned almost at the deck’s base. No massive wicks, no suspended cotton—yet the Mad Hatter doesn’t leak. With a 2.5mm coil jig, I had no trouble filling the juice wells.
The airflow system consists of three under-coil slots and a side airflow turret that draws air from the same source as the slots. This setup allows the coil to be hit almost entirely by airflow, making it suitable for complex builds.
A small detail worth mentioning is the hex screwdriver included for tightening the screws. It features the Advken logo and conveniently doubles as a coil jig, thanks to its precise 2.5mm diameter.

Installing the coil feels a bit unnatural at first, but tightening the legs while keeping them under tension—just the way I like it—is actually easier than with other parallel-post atomizers. The generous working space allows for pre-bending the wire at a 90-degree angle, keeping it steady while tightening and maintaining proper tension.
As for coil placement, there's no need for precision down to the tenth of a millimeter. A good reference point is the side airflow turret: once the coil is positioned to be fully hit by the airflow, it naturally ends up centered over the bottom airflow ring.

Airflow system and ring: Unlike the trend of double slots, the Mad Hatter RTA features just the single slot visible in the photo. It can be adjusted to your liking and includes a small tab with a stopper, which is very useful for helping to unscrew the tank from the base.
To remove it, once the tank block is unscrewed, the ring should be pulled upward. There's a clear direction for insertion, with the tab and the narrower part, where the slot is located, meant to be positioned downward.

The bottom, unlike many high-end devices, features a double screw system to prevent it from unscrewing from the box. The gold-plated pin, despite the perspective, protrudes enough for those who enjoy mechanical vaping.
The engravings are well done, with Mad Hatter RTA and Advken at the bottom, along with CE markings and disposal info.
Although perspective can be misleading, there’s a tenth of a millimeter gap between the airflow ring and the bottom itself. This allows for rotation of the Mad Hatter while it’s installed on a box without the risk of scratching the cup or causing any binding.

The deck is fully disassemblable, with some inspiration from the Belarusian design world, as the post-airflow block is held in place by a simple O-ring. By rotating it, it can be removed. The positive post tower can also be extracted and is held in position by the positive pin.
The dimensions of the cotton retention wells should also be considered, as they are proportioned to accommodate a single coil build.

A better overview of the airflow system: the air enters through the single slot and then ascends a step. Half of it flows into the deck, while the other half enters what can be described as the side airflow turret. Geometrically, the air doesn’t get lost and circulates in fairly confined spaces, allowing for a good contrast, which is ideal for RDL vaping fans.
When reassembling, the airflow channel should be aligned with the airflow ring, ensuring the screw slots on the bottom cap line up. What happens if it’s assembled incorrectly? Air still passes through, but the draw becomes excessively tight.

Given its size and single-coil design, it's possible to use an 810-510 adapter since the top cap is flat—perhaps choosing one larger than mine. Of course, if you go this route, you'll need to limit the diameter and size of the coil, especially if you plan on using (very) complex wires.

Despite the flat bell, even with a 26g coil, the flavor is sweet with a prominent sugary note. The atomizer performs well with creamy and fruity liquids, depending on the build. It handles a 50/50 liquid perfectly without flooding, although for an RDL, I’d recommend a 70/30 ratio.
Despite the small deck, a 3mm coil fits perfectly. As a fan of single wires, the 26g seemed the most suitable, though a 27g could work if you plan to significantly restrict the airflow. As an atomizer, it can also be considered a "slow RDL." It's better to take more restricted draws; due to the size of the bell, short pulls tend to generate quite a bit of heat, which can affect the flavor. When using complex coils, I wouldn’t overdo it, especially with the number of wraps.
The draw can be effectively adjusted using the airflow ring, allowing for an open MTL-style vape, although that's not the primary vaping style for the Mad Hatter.

Mad Hatter RTA: Similar to the Artha Gen 2, I would define it as a hybrid tank-dripper for flavor, thanks to its quick handling, refill, and 2ml capacity. It cleans in no time, with old-school lines, and despite being considered a "budget" atomizer, it can be fully disassembled for a deep clean.

The Mad Hatter RTA is available for purchase on the Advken website: https://store.advken.com/atomizers/rta/advken-mad-hatter-rta.html

I thank the staff and community of e-cigarette-forum for the space and Advken for the gift.
