Homeschooling definitely isn’t what I set out to do lol; COVID pushed the hand on that one. After they all started returning back to school staffing went down drastically, they took away his 1:1 and his services voiding his IEP… Rendering that environment (and his learning ability there) useless and stressful. He’s never been as successful and relaxed as he is since starting the homeschooling program though so it’s a win! Online makes it easy, and he’s actually ahead two grades now. Too smart to keep busy, and too affected to cope— makes for a rough situation in public school!I stayed at home with our two until both were old enough to stay alone but I definitely didn’t attempt homeschooling. I do admire those who can.
