Well, I was curious, so I picked it up to try out. It is very much a style piece aimed at drop-in coil users, more than builders, but you could run it in TC if you wanted to. And, of course, you can go into eScribe and set it up the way you want.

The design and execution is pretty good, but there are a few decisions that left me scratching my head.

The first is the tank clearance: there is none, so it’s going to be hit or miss as to what tanks will go on the mod. I’d probably size down, rather than trying to stuff a 24mm tank in there.

The second is the default options Innokin decided to go with. It’s a pretty under featured set up, with no screen options, no off option, three presses to sleep which is not enough with the number of fire buttons on this thing: makes it a bit nerve-wracking to carry in pocket.

I’m not sure the secondary fire button is needed. It’s okay, sort of. There’s a tendency to fire the mod any time you pick it up or put it down. There’s a Red only charge light in there.

It’s saving grace is Replay which is pretty much as good as it gets with a drop-in coil, as far as vape quality goes. It’s a really good vape with the included Zenith M tank.

The M tank itself is nice enough. Very minimal, which is what the M stands for. Innokin used a camlock, rather than threading to close the mod. You pop the whole top off to reveal a silicone gasket, as with some of the other Zenith tanks, which can be a bit faffy, as the gasket is only held in place by a small lip in the tank on one side. It’s okay but you can pull the whole thing off if not careful with your juice bottle procedure. It comes with the usual spares.

The camlock takes a bit to get used to, lining up the tabs to get it closed properly. Best to look first. This is where the tight mod/tank fit can be a little annoying.

The tank can be completely broken down for cleaning, if that’s your thing. It doesn’t hold a ton of juice, especially after you leave some headspace to avoid flooding. It’s rated at 4ml. I’d rate it as usable with 3ml of juice. This is not an all day tank.

It’s a DNA, as far as the chip goes. It’s very good, if a bit quirky at times. Sometimes you have to fiddle with the 510 to clear a code or to get it to fire at full power, it chews through batteries. You know, typical DNA type stuff. It would have been better to go with a 21700 battery rather than 18650.

Construction is solid. The leather is nice. It’s a blingy little thing, kind of a cocktail party mod.

This is not my usual sort of thing, but it’s nice enough and that Replay function: that’s what you’re paying for here. Overall, not bad, as long as you know what you want out of it. This would not be my choice for TC vaping if I was into that, but, as a compact SBS, for Zenith coil vaping, sure, why not. I’m not sorry I bought it, is the main thing.

Anyway, thought someone might be interested. There’s not much info out there.
