Hello, FranGood afternoon, gloop and Zazie.
I hope that your day has been going well.
Things are good here

Hello, FranGood afternoon, gloop and Zazie.
Good afternoon, Terri.Good morning random folks. I'm spending my morning on the deck, with coffee and vape, of course. Today is overcast but no rain in the guess. I have a hummingbird bird that has been checking out the feeder, but afraid to try it, probably because I'm sitting out here. The nectar level is getting low, so I'm sure the hummers are feeding. I have a lot to do these next couple of days because I have a group of 20 missionaries in training coming for dinner tomorrow night. I was going to set up one of the tables on the deck, but since there's a 50% chance of rain tomorrow, it looks like I'll have to squeeze two tables into the dining room. At least I have a dining room, which is more than I can say for my last place.
You're most welcome, Zazie! Thanks! Now all I need to know is what you consider room temperature (it's chilly in my neck of the woods).
Thanks! Now all I need to know is what you consider room temperature (it's chilly in my neck of the woods). This batch was (baker's %),
100% High-Gluten flour (Bova)
61% water
1.5% salt
1% oil
0.58% active dry yeast
72 hour cold ferment
3+ hours room temp before bake
I usually use instant yeast but didn't have any so used a packet of the active, so that's why the percentage there might seem odd.
I typically used to use from 0.25 - 0.5 of the instant.
Bread flour or highest protein content you can find would be okay.
(NOT Vital Wheat Gluten.)
My understanding is using the high-gluten flour helps achieve the crackly/crisp outside and chewy inside result.
Many pizzerias use it for New York style dough.
If you aren't familiar with baker's percentage I could figure out numbers if you need them.
It might be fine. Worth checking though. Some flavors don't have buildup. Most custards and fruits do though. For some reason FW mango is pretty decent that way. Not the best for flavors, but the best I’ve found for fruits. The pomogranites I’ve tried all had heavy buildup. Nicotine itself has some though. Not a lot. Low or no nic unflavored lasts the longest in my experience. I’ve heard of low nic unflavored at low wattage lasting a month or more.I’ll pull it apart tomorrow.
That or they saw that a lot of people here didn’t vape disposables and had a low opinion of them. I see a lot of vapers who because disposables are “newer” (they’re actually not) they must be “better” because what technology actually moves backwards? THIS ONE. disposables and “salts” didn’t become popular because they were good or safe. THEYRE neither. They were heavily pushed because they're vastly higher profit, and They became popular because they were a better way to play “smokin in the boys room”. To be fair, they still are. If your vape could get confiscated at any time disposables win.Six days since his post and no replies, I think OP has flown the coop, a flyby.

My memory is there were size and power use issues. I didn’t know about the noise one, though it makes some sense. That might all be fixable with advancing technology though. Does solve the heat problem, which is big. For one it changes the base requirements. You can use water as a base for example. With no heat the dry hit and metals things go away. It’s real questionable if they were even ever a real problem and it wasn’t just tobacco companies putting their finger on the science scale, but this shoots the metal shards thing in the face. There may be other stuff. It Also changes the flavoring requirements massively. You could potentially use *any* flavor safely. Possibly not oils. That would have to be tested. There are lots of flavorings that are unstable at vape temperatures. Things would open up.Hello all. I am really interested in ultrasonic technology in vape systems. Do you know why this technology is no longer available or developed?
Do anybody have a contact for a company that still produces such things? I'd be really grateful for any information! Thanks!
