Hmm, that link says it's the v3 but it looks very different than the v3 I had with all the problems. It's probably the v4. Anyway, taking off the button was a pretty simple task on the v3. From what I understand, however, the design differences were pretty significant. It's possible the button on yours is glued or somehow much harder to get off. All I had to do was unscrew the button and when it stopped unscrewing I just used a pair of pliers and pulled it off. Be careful though because you could lose some smaller pieces when taking the button off this way.
