That's awesome man, good stuff! I've been building on the RSST every day this week and can't figure out the metallic taste as I jack up the voltage. My coils are getting better and better, but I still can't figure it out.
I do have a dripper, my buddy gave me one when I was home last. I think the next piece of gear I'm going to pick up is a Trident v2.

The one thing I haven't done that I was planning is to make a swappable tail that will plug right into a 12V car outlet, but it turns out I haven't needed to. Having it tethered to the wall is just too convenient to mess with.
The one unplanned consequence is that as the resistor heats and swells, it's popped off of the JBQuik that glued it inside the box. It clunks around inside a little, so I'd add a little pad of felt inside to keep it in place, but it doesn't affect the operation at all.

The single power resistor has just turned out to be so cheap and easy, and so well suited to my optimum vaping wattage, the complexity of adding a varistor doesn't seem worth it.
At first, I wasn't sure if the shape of the box would be easy to use, as it looks kinda awkward at first. But time has proven it to be very comfortable in-use. It falls easily to-hand, has a pleasant old-school heft to it, and being able to put it down in a solid tank-up position has its benefits. I've had no problems with leaking at all, and it can be left plugged in indefinitely and just puff as the moment takes you. (An added benefit of the cord -- it never gets lost!)

Hi, Alexander! I'm sorry for not replying sooner, I've been out of the loop for a few weeks. The LCM is a few months old now, so I really should post a followup on that thread. Thanks for reminding me of that.
It's gotten sporadically continuous use, and it still vapes very well, giving large clouds of vapor. The Vivinova tank has turned out to be quite a little beast. It holds juice for days, and it can handle long draws without overheating -- I'm still on the original atomizer without a burnout and only one disassembly and cleaning! So far, it's been rock-solid reliable. I didn't count on this, but it's a "plus" -- the resistor heats the box slightly in your hand to "telegraph" when you're vaping too hard and give it a rest for a few minutes. I really wouldn't recommend a variable-voltage setup, as you can fine-tune the wattage with the different resistances of atomizers that already come with the Tank.

Yah it rocks! After having the ehpro kayfun 3.1 for a day, I immediately went and ordered an aqua clone from congrevape.com. BTW you seen that site yet? Group buys for pretty good prices. I also joined a few facebook groups - 1.1 Group buys and vape trading, and Vape Trading and Group Buys. I got 10 MNKE batteries for $5 a piece, put in an order through there for another HCigar Kayfun for $42.
I just did an audit of my spend over the past couple months on vape stuff - $900. I think i have a problem!. I did get 3 DNA 20d's and all the stuff to build em though.
Aqua's are supposed to be kayfun on steroids.
If you haven't gotten a dripper yet, the IGO-W is great for cheap. $9.99 on 101vape.com
