Oh...my...god!! You like Hayden?!? I worship him to a fanatical degree, and "Bad As They Seem" is one of his many greats. Seen him live twice, in dumbstruck bliss. Btw, I was sure I'd already sent you a friend request:facepalm:. Great to meet a fellow Reonaut with similar musical interests:toast:!
Well, everything the Misfits recorded is great, but if I were starting out I would pick up either Walk Among Us or Legacy of Brutality, or if you want to get samples from most of their early albums (which IMO are by far the best) I would pick up Collection I and II.

Glen left in '83, and in the late 90's the Misfits reformed with a new singer, Michale Graves and put out 2 albums. Those albums are awesome, but the singing style and production are very different than the original lineup, much more 'commercial' friendly. The main complaint many people have when they first hear the Misfits is the lack of quality production on their recordings, but that is part of the greatness.

Also, if you check out Samhain (which is the band Glen formed right after the Misfits broke up in '83) I think you would love them as well (Samhain is slower and more 'dark' than the Misfits were, the Misfits were basically a horror punk band, Samhain is far more serious and 'moody', hard to describe lol).
Should've not been lazy and googled it. Very cool! Now, tell be the best starter Misfits album to buy, as I've really been looking for some less sleepy new tunes (especially for Wednesday mornings:p). Then I'll stop nagging you for favors:p!
Hahaha yeah, I can imagine reading it and being weirded out!

That episode had just wrapped up when I saw one of your posts...
Hi, cbur! I was was just reading in the HHV sub-forum, and I saw that you're a fellow Santa Monica vaper (I'm right on the border of S.M. and West L.A.). If you ever learn of a local vape meet, please let me know, as I'm eager to go to one. Happy vaping:toast:!
A fellow Reonaut Pixies lover? :toast: to that! Come play ECF's song-chain game linked in my sig sometime:)!
I saw your post regarding your review of the FDA report. I have been reading on the subject of nicotine metabolites, how they are present in eliquid, and what effect inhaliation of foodgrade flavorings might have on the body. I understood what you were getting at, that you were not attempting to state that eCigs are safe, but that there were faults with the NJOY study design. Yes further studies using animals for toxicity of these inhalants should be used, even if the carcinogenic metabolites are merely in trace not measurable amounts. I trust the eliquid vendors I use, but I do wonder what kind of independent testing they undertake on their products regarding nicotine concentration, etc. The industry should do more to band together to develop standards to lend itself such legitimacy, and to foster more academic studies into the very questions you pose. eCigs ARE safer combustion cigarettes (I am just one anecdotal success story), but without empirical science supporting exactly how this is the case, they will never be legitimatized or accepted by the FDA.

You don't even know how happy I am to see you jump in the song-chain; but I'd love to easily hear your entries (or you could always go back and add the youtube videos in when you actually have some spare time, if you're sneaking in a few plays at work;)) -- http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/forum-how-tos/124788-how-add-images-videos.html. Hope to hear more from you soon (and, btw, thanks for some happy memories of a great college Humanities course)!
Tammy....it was a pleasant surprise to see your "like"....you are one of the gals I miss from V4L. I have found a new thread where no one says anything bad to anyone....it is pretty much stress free and I love it. I no longer use any V4L products...have moved to 501 connection p.v.s and am vaping mostly the naturally extracted tobaccos. I do give their products credit for aiding me in staying away from cigarettes, but will never get over the fact someone on their forum was hateful and vicious to another....and that person was not asked to leave. Thank God, I have never ran into anybody like that again.

I enjoyed reading your post...and know how much joy grandkids can bring.

Just really stopped by to say hi and tell you I have missed you. Hello again hugs to you.
