Design
The design of the device is very aesthetically pleasing to me. It’s a round device, about the size of a cigar. It really gives you that cigarette feeling when vaping it as well. The device is completely made out of metal, trying to make it as easy to recycle as possible. The only thing on the device that seems to be made out of plastic, is that transparent mouthpiece. Other than that it’s a very simple device. No buttons, no charging port, nothing to it. The vapes are in a color corresponding with the flavor it brings. The device has it’s branding on one side and the flavor spelled out on the other.



Flavors


Mango Peach Watermelon - 9.5/10
Honestly almost perfect flavor. The only reason I’m not giving it a ten, is because I think there should always be room to improve, but I almost wanted to give this one a ten, cause I can’t stop hitting this one. It’s really the perfect mix of three very good vape flavors. That mango and peach go well together, seems common sense, but putting that little bit of watermelon into the flavor as well, really perfected it for me. All of these vapes have a very smooth hit and flavor to them.



Watermelon Ice - 8.5/10
The flavor from this vape is very nice. It’s that typical artificial watermelon flavor that I have grown to like. There wasn’t much ice in the flavor to me, or maybe I’m just used to vapes with way too much ice flavor in them. That’s why I actually appreciated that there wasn’t much of an ice flavor in there. I’ve been hit with those so much that I would even give a headache from it. All in all this was a very pleasant flavor.



Premium Menthol - 8/10
At first I was a little bit scared to try this one. I have used menthol flavors a lot in pod devices, but I had never used them with disposables, so as much as I was scared, I was also curious. It really surprised me when I tried it. A refreshing taste of menthol gum was what hit me, but not a very smooth and soft one. Not as harsh as I am used to from other vape flavors with menthol or even just ice in them, so that was a really nice surprise. If you’re a fan of menthol cigarettes and are looking to replace that with a vape, this one is definitely a very good option!


Blood Orange - 7.5/10
This was a vape flavor I had never tried before, so I was curious to try it out. It was a pleasant experience. Immediately hitting you with the typical artificial orange flavors, that’s also known from a lot of those orange drinks. If that’s what you like, this would definitely be the flavor for you. I liked it, but I liked the other flavors I tried a bit more. None of these flavors are overly sweet, by the way.



Performance
The performance from these vapes was consistently very good. The mouthpiece that’s on there is very comfortable and the device just seems to hit perfect for a medium MTL.
In terms of puffs count, I couldn’t tell you exactly how far they’d get. But they look and feel like the average 600 puff disposable, maybe a tad more than that.
The flavor and draw were very good and soft on each draw. I never experienced any kind of spitback or anything like that. Flavor from these vapes was very soft and comfortable. Those are really the best words to describe it, I think. A lot of disposable vapes have such a sweet flavor that you can barely tell what flavor it’s actually supposed to be. With these vapes I could tell almost exactly what flavor they were, before I looked at what it actually was.

I’d heard good things about the brand Beco, but never had the pleasure to try their vapes myself. I have to say, they didn’t let me down. With the way these little vapes hit and feel in the hand, I really think it’s something ex cigarette smokers would really appreciate. I know I did. Something to keep in mind is that there only seems to be one nicotine strength at the moment for this vape (20 mg), for me that didn’t matter, since that is the strength I’ve always liked in my pods as well. The impressive design, ease of use and good flavor really make it a compelling option for a disposable vape. Especially those that are transitioning from cigarettes into vaping. I’d say this vape is definitely worth considering, if you’re on the hunt for a small, comfortable and user friendly vape.

Here today we have the first of two of the newest devices in the Drag line up from VOOPOO which utilize the all new PnP X platform which is applied to both the DRAG X2 and DRAG S2 and will impress you with its excellent performance behind the compact device. **Review:**

For the purpose of this review i was sent the colorful silver which under different angles of light actually looks like a prism which is cool. With the new DRAG X2 which utilizes the knowledge gained from the PNP line up, its going to last at least 100ML before flavor drop off which has been my experience with this coil set up. I will also say that the flavor/cloud at 38W (.3ohm) is close to my Z tank at 78W which is always nice. I will say that with the X2 its able to go to 80W thanks to its single 18650 battery. What stinks is that its a typical pod set up with no 510 connector so you're stuck with the pod and no replaceable drip tip on the X2. Granted its as leakproof as a Z tank which is nice and the fact its a pod is nice so when it drops it doesnt shoot glass everywhere when the tank blows up from falling. Another detector from the kit is that you cant use a regualr PNP coil like say the PNP TW15 (.15ohm) coil, and believe me i tried but its too thin and doesnt have a connector at the top to slide in.

**Overall:** If youre looking for an easy no frills vape kit that has the ability to go to 80W and throw decent clouds and has great flavor that rivals the likes of geekvape and other brands pick one up. But if youre anything like me and by that i mean if you want something customizable that you can safely keep for a long time then rethink picking this up. I think i would have picked this one up for any other reason than the fact that the coils are bomb the kits are good looking *but* they lack customization options like a drip tip and for that reason i probably would have saved my money. I do like it but again lack of customization kinda kills it for me especially since i had a really nice tip picked out for this kit

Hello again. You might have just seen my review on the Voopoo Drag S2. Well, I’m back with you to talk about the big brother of the S2 which is the new Voopoo Drag X2. This kit was sent to me by Voopoo just like the S2 kit in order to provide you with a fair and honest review. The main differences between the S2 and X2 is that the X2 does not have an internal battery but instead uses a single 18650 battery and has an output of 5-80 watts where the S2 only went up to 60 wattts. The X2 comes with the PNP X pod tank and coils just like the S2 did but the X2 comes with a .15 ohm coil and a .3 ohm coil where the S2 came with .2 and .3 ohm coils. It uses the same Gene TT 2.0 chipset so just like the S2 it has just three output modes.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the Drag X2 is fairly simple but nice. There are the Drag X2 and Voopoo names on the front with a nice color picture of the actual device contained inside. As you can see, I received the Colorful Silver version for my review. It might be a little hard to show in a picture but the leather back on it has almost a different tint to it depending on how the light hits it. The back side of the box has the usual contents list, company information, and mine is marked as a sample.

The X2 has the Gene TT printed on the left side and the Drag X2 is stamped into the leather on the opposite side. The leather has a really nice V pattern stamped into it with nice stitching on either side. It really doesn’t feel like there is any padding under the leather.

The pod opening on the X2 is much like the S2 with it having the two torx head screws and the two spring loaded gold colored plated electrical contacts that transfer power to the coil. Just like the S2, I did notice some back and forth movement on the pod in the opening despite the magnets being strong enough to allow the user to pick up the mod and tank by lifting from the tank.

As I mentioned in the beginning, one major difference on the X2 is that it uses a single 18650 battery. I simply love that they decided to use a C frame design for battery loading. It is my favorite design. The battery polarity is clearly marked with the + symbol near the top and the – symbol on the bottom. The – contact is spring loaded. Battery insertion is very easy on this one. I’ve had some where it’s such a tight fit that it’s difficult to get the battery installed without damaging the wrap. The inside of the cover has the words “JUST DRAG” stamped into the metal cover.

The display and button operation are the same on the Drag X2 as they were on the S2 so I’m just going to copy and paste the information from my previous review in case someone didn’t read the other review. . The display clearly shows the following information.

• Mode of operation(RBA, Smart, ECO)
• Battery level indicator
• Set wattage
• Coil Resistance
• Voltage while firing
• Puff counter
• Length of time of current puff

The X2 is a fairly simplistic device with just three modes of operation. The button operation is as follows.

• Press the fire button 5X to turn the device on/off
• Press the fire button and the + button to lock the device
• Press the + and – buttons to access the menu where the options are Mode, Puff reset, About device, and Exit

The PNP X pod tank is the same DTL version as I received for the S2 review but this one is silver instead of black. The X2 kit comes with the PNP X pod that uses the include PNP X coils but is not compatible with the standard PNP coils. The coils boast four times as long vaping time, four layer leakage proof, and cost effective while not compatible with previous versions of PNP coils. The PNP X coils make use of thermos-stable cotton, mesh distributed heating system, patented four layer leak-proof design, and automatic production which improves reliability and quality.

I received the PNP X Cartridge DTL version but there is also an MTL pod tank available. As I had mentioned earlier, the pre-installed coil has a sticker covering the bottom of the coil to prevent firing prior to filling the pod. There are four magnets on the bottom of the pod that are strong enough to allow the user to lift the entire device by picking it up by the pod. However I did notice some movement from side to side when inserted in the X2.

The top of the pod has writing printed on it stating that it is compatible with the PNP X coils. The pod makes use of top airflow which makes it virtually leak proof. I was a little disappointed that there is a rubber plug on the bottom of the pod which is where you fill it from. This means the pod must be removed in order to fill it to its 5ml capacity. I would have liked to have seen some sort of top fill with a removable cap or something where the pod could be filled in place. That being said, the rubber plug seems to be of good quality and is easily removed for filling.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Once again it has been a pleasure reviewing the big brother to the Drag S2 which is the Drag X2. Just like on the S2, I would have liked the magnets on the pod to be a little stronger and would very much prefer a top fill pod tank. I did notice some side to side movement on this one also but the magnets are strong enough to lift the device by the pod without it coming off of the mod.

I started out with the .15 ohm coil for testing. Just like the .2 ohm coil on the S2, this one seemed to take most of a pod before the coil was broken in and started providing the type of flavor I’m used to from Voopoo coils. I ran this one a little lower than recommended at 55 watts but still got very good flavor and vapor production. I don’t know that it really matters but used a Molicel 18650 battery while testing this mod. I didn’t notice the drop in performance that I did with the S2 and the .2 ohm coil once the battery level got around 30%.

Next up I tested the .3 ohm coil which is the same as the .3 ohm coil that came with the S2. While testing both of the coils I used dinner lady blackberry crumble which has been a long time favorite of mine. The flavor came through very well and I honestly preferred the .3 ohm coil running around 37 watts which is within the recommended operating range.

I did notice on these new coils that there are four o rings on each one where the old VM3 coils I have on hand only had one o ring. I honestly got zero leaking and no noticeable condensation the entire time I tested the X2 and PNP X pod tank. I was very happy with the performance of both coils. It might have been nice if the DTL tank had a removable drip tip. Only the MTL version, which I did not receive, has replaceable tips.

The X2 mod has a fairly attractive appearance but I honestly would have chosen a different color on this one if given a choice. The display is the same as the S2 and clear and mostly easy to read except for the battery percentage. I very much like the C frame design for battery loading and found this one much easier to load the battery than some others of this design that I’ve tried. Overall, I’d call this one a winner and would recommend it if you are looking for this type of device.

Hello and welcome. Today I’m going to try to cover the new Voopoo Drag S2 that was sent to me by Voopoo in order to provide you with a fair and honest review. The S2 is the next device in a long line of the Drag series of mods. I think by now most people have either tried or heard of the Drag series of mods. The S2 has an internal 2500mah battery with a power rating of 5-60 watts. Included with the S2 is the PNP X Pod cartridge that has a 5ml capacity and uses the new PNP X coils that claim to last for 100ml of liquid usage without losing flavor and are extremely leak resistant. The regular PNP coils are not compatible. It is my understanding that there will be an MTL and a DTL version available. I received the DTL version for this review.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the Drag S2 has a nice colorful picture on the front of the actual device contained inside the box. Of course there are the Voopoo and Drag S2 names printed on the sleeve. As you can see, I received the Sky Blue version for this review which is a really nice blue color fade design. The back side of the box has the usual contents list, company information, and warning. Mine is marked as a Sample since it is a review sample.

Once the outer sleeve is removed then inside you will find the S2 sitting inside a plastic insert. The box that my sample arrived it looked like it had been dragged behind a truck and you might notice that the plastic insert on mine is broken and not holding the S2 in place properly.

Inside is the S2 with the PNP X pod and a coil already installed. Also included is a second coil, user manual, and USB-C charging cable. The installed coil does have a sticker covering the bottom the coil to prevent accidental firing prior to filling the pod. The two coils included with the S2 are the PNP X .2 ohm and .3 ohm coils. The .2 ohm is rated for 40-60 watts and the .3 ohm is rated for 32-40 watts.

I really like the appearance of the S2 that I received for this review. Blue is my favorite color and I really like the blue fade on this one. You might notice the white specks on the next two pictures. That is from it getting beat up in shipping and most of the specks are from the broken white plastic insert that it was sitting in. The back is covered in a lighter blue wrap that has nice stitching on it. On one side the Drag S2 name is stamped into the leather. There really isn’t any noticeable padding under the leather wrap but it is quite comfortable to hold.

The front of the S2 has the very familiar round fire button at the top that seems to be a trademark of the Drag series of mods. Below that is the .96” TFT display screen followed by the = and – buttons with the USB-C charging port underneath rated at 5V/2A. The S2 is powered by an internal 2500mah battery and controlled by the new Gene TT 2.0 chipset. The display clearly shows the following information.

• Puff counter

The pod opening on the S2 is pretty normal and what I’m used to seeing on a device like this. There are two torx head screws holding the insert in place that the pod attaches to with magnets and the two plated gold colored contacts that transmit power to the coil in the pod. There isn’t an airflow sensor as this one is not auto draw. The S2 has a rubber pad on the bottom of the mod to make it more slip resistant when placing it on a table or desk.

The S2 kit comes with the PNP X pod that uses the include PNP X coils and is not compatible with the standard PNP coils. The coils boast four times as long vaping time, four layer leakage proof, and cost effective but not compatible with previous versions of PNP coils. The PNP X coils make use of thermos-stable cotton, mesh distributed heating system, patented four layer leak-proof design, and automatic production which improves reliability and quality.

I received the PNP X Cartridge DTL version but there is also an MTL version available. As I had mentioned earlier, the pre-installed coil has a sticker covering the bottom of the coil to prevent firing prior to filling the pod. There are four magnets on the bottom of the pod that are strong enough to allow the user to lift the entire device by picking it up by the pod. However I did notice some movement from side to side when inserted in the S2.

The top of the pod has writing printed on it stating that it is compatible with the PNP X coils. The pod makes use of top airflow which makes it virtually leak proof. I was a little disappointed that there is a rubber plug on the bottom of the pod which is where you fill it from. This means the pod must be removed in order to fill it to its 5ml capacity. I would have liked to have seen some sort of top fill with a removable cap or something where the pod could be filled in place. That being said, the rubber plug seems to be of good quality and is easily removed for filling.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

As usual it has been a pleasure reviewing yet another Voopoo device. The S2 performed very well while looking very nice. If I was going to make any changes it would be to make the magnets on the pod a little stronger and also to figure out a way to make the pod top fill instead of the bottom fill plug where you have to remove the pod to fill it. I was very impressed with both the PNP X pod and coils. I honestly didn’t run 100ml of liquid through either coil as I don’t vape large quantities of liquid that fast. Also in part to the fact that I received the samples a little late due to shipping issues that were no fault of Voopoo. The box that the samples arrived in looked like someone had dragged it behind a truck. I wish I had taken a picture to share. However, despite the plastic insert being broken, the S2 did work just fine. I was also sent a small fan in a nice case as a gift but the fan would not charge and only worked when plugged in. I’m guessing it was damaged in shipping. I will however show you a picture of the case and fan.

I started out by testing the .2 ohm coil in the PNP X tank. I used a 6mg guava green tea mix that I’ve used on and off for some time and am very familiar with. At first I didn’t think the flavor production was really very good. I was surprised as I’m used to Voopoo coils delivering very good flavor. It just took about 4-5ml for the coil to break in and started producing very good flavor. I don’t usually use Smart mode but decided to try it on this one. The smart mode set the wattage to 50 watts. This worked very well until the battery charge got down to about 30% remaining charge. At this point I could tell that the mod was not delivering 50 watts and the vapor and flavor had subsided some. At about 28% I decided to go ahead and recharge the internal battery. I didn’t time it but it seemed to charge fairly quickly.

The flavor and vapor production was still very good after about 350 puffs on the counter but needed to move on to the .3 ohm coil so I could finish testing and write the review. I decided to stay with the guava green tea mix and left the S2 in Smart mode. This time is selected 35 watts. I could turn it up as high as 40 watts before it told me I had reached the maximum setting for this coil. The 35 watt setting really seemed perfect from the beginning. I really didn’t feel like there was any break in period on this coil as the flavor and vapor production seemed very good from the beginning.

I did notice on these new coils that there are four o rings on each one where the old VM3 coils I have on hand only had one o ring. I honestly got zero leaking and no noticeable condensation the entire time I tested the S2 and PNP X pod tank. I was very happy with the performance of both coils. It might have been nice if the DTL tank had a removable drip tip. Only the MTL version, which I did not receive, has replaceable tips.

The S2 mod itself has an attractive appearance in my opinion while being comfortable to hold in the hand. The display is a very nice size and fairly easy to read. The only thing I had a little difficulty seeing was the battery percentage number beside the battery level indicator that was a little small for my eyes. I didn’t mind at all that the S2 had just the three basic modes of operation as I normally only use wattage mode anyway. It is good that it has the Smart mode for less experienced users. It could very well prevent someone from ruining one of the two included coils.

For this type of device, the Drag S2 is a winner in my book. I have minimal complaints that might not even be complaints to some. If you’re looking for a lightweight internal battery pod mod that delivers very good flavor and vapor production then I’d definitely recommend the Drag S2. I use the geekvape S100 and the vaporesso Gen 80s. The GTi coils are harder to find so I often use my Zeus tank on the vaporesso box mod. I don't understand the box mod completely but I find that I get a better hit from the vaporesso box mod. I honestly thought the hit was determined by the tank, but I have so much to learn!

I also am experimenting with making my own juices because my tastes lean sour and store bought sours are not! Cola and orange cream are also strangely absent from most vape stores.

I welcome any suggestions for recipes or products.
