These tests below only note my personal opinion for the ESTIMATED ratings for the batteries I tested at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, or Sanyo can change at any time! This can be one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of property damage, personal injury, or even death. Never use them outside of a fully protected battery pack and you use them at your own risk. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous discharge rating (CDR), never let it get colder than 0°C or hotter than 60°C, and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition. Never use a battery that is physically damaged in any way.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.




Test Results
I did some preliminary testing of these pre-production (sample) cells for my Patreon supporters a few weeks ago and they were incredible. Here’s the full test report.

This is the best performing 18650 we can buy for any use above about 10A (about 30W). At about 10A or lower this cell still performs almost as well as any other 18650, within 4% or less of their run time. Even when compared to 3500mAh cells.

This is due to the 30B’s low internal resistance, which results in less voltage sag. That keeps the voltage higher for longer as it discharges and results in longer run times.

The one page spec sheet only lists a temperature-limited (to 80°C) current rating of 30A. But in my testing the cell reached about 80°C when discharged all the way down to 2.5V so you might be able to use it continuously at 30A as long as these cells are not in a battery pack or used on a hot day. Otherwise, consider it to be a 25A cell (or perhaps lower in a battery pack).

If running them at above 20A continuously I recommend testing them in your application first to be sure you never exceed 80°C. I recommend staying below 60°C to help prevent accelerated aging and damage.

The two pre-production sample cells I tested delivered 2934mAh and 2946mAh. This is fantastic consistency, and meets the cell’s minimum spec of 2900mAh, but they didn’t meet their “typical capacity” spec of 3000mAh. Since I cannot have the lowest capacity cells in the batch I’m rating them at 2900mAh.

But even with this lower capacity they still perform as described earlier and the full production cells might even be a little bit better.

www.18650batterystore.com and www.liionwholesale.com are out of stock in the US but www.nkon.nl in Europe lists them as in stock. I don’t know who else might be selling them now, you’ll have to look around. Hopefully vendors get some big shipments in soon but it could be months before that happens.

Vaporesso has released 2 full sized kits with one being a replaceable dual battery mod called the Armour Max and the other a single, today's review I'll be covering the single battery version called the Armour S. Both devices come with the iTank 2 that has a 5ml capacity with the smaller Armour S, the larger dual battery Armour Max's iTank capacity is 8ml. As the name implies ( ARMOUR ) this device is built to take a beating being built entirely of a TPU material ( Thermoplastic Polyurethane ). This device comes with all the bells and whistles with a solid performing Sub Tank as well. After some product information from the manufacturer I'll give you my findings on this kit good bad or ugly and if it gets a winner rating. Lets get started shall we.

This disposable vape has a sleek look that fits comfortably in the hand, because of their ergonomic design. Which makes it a good choice for the people that don’t want any bells and whistles, but just want to vape. The part of the device where the juice is has the color corresponding to the flavor and the white part of the device is where the battery is. The mouthpiece is a tinted black translucent color. On the front of the device is some branding and the name of your flavor. On the bottom is a battery light indicator and your USB-C port to charge the device.



Flavors
I got to choose 5 from the 10 flavors they have available. I'll tell you the flavors I got in order of which one I found the best to worst flavor and tell you a little bit more about every flavor down below. What sets these flavors apart is their change from the typical candy-like sweetness that we often find in disposables. It's not a good or bad thing; it's just a refreshing change. I like most sweet disposables, but I also really like to switch it up and have some flavors that are not as sweet as downing a bag of skittles in one go, so it was appreciated in these ones!



Strawberry Kiwi - 9.5/10
Strawberry Kiwi has always been my favorite combination in vape flavors, so I didn’t doubt for a second I was gonna love this one. It definitely didn’t disappoint. It’s a good blend between the two flavors, with the strawberry definitely being a little more prominent and the kiwi hitting your taste buds a little bit after that. It was honestly exactly the way I like it.



Blue Razz Lemonade - 8.5/10
This is such a well known and loved flavor in the vaping world, especially in disposables, so I had to try this one. Like I already said about all of these flavors, they aren’t as sweet as other disposables I’ve tried. I especially noticed that with this flavor. It really has that typical blue razz flavor to it, but it’s a little less overly sweet and tastes a little bit more like actual fruity. Definitely a refreshing mix of blueberries and lemonade flavor in this one.



Pink Lemonade - 8/10
I couldn’t really place this flavor with the other disposable vapes I had tried that also called themselves a pink lemonade flavor. This one I really felt the lemonade flavor, with the lemon definitely being the most prominent. It really had that citronella flavor to it. If you’ve ever gone camping where there were a lot of mosquitos you must know what I’m talking about. We had those candles with this strong citronella scent to keep them away. I always used to love that scent. This vape to me, tasted almost exactly like those things smelled.



Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava - 7/10
Even though this wasn’t my top pick in flavors, this was really still a pleasant experience. I would describe the flavor as a mix of exotic fruits, like some well known drinks that have those fruit mix flavors, just a little bit less sweet than I remember them to be.




Sour Apple - 6.5/10
This flavor was a bit weird to me. Although I would still use it on a daily basis - so I still really enjoyed it - it just caught me off guard a little bit. I expected it to be a bit more sour and sweet, it still has an interesting flavor. The apple really does come through, so if that’s what you like, definitely pick this one up.


All in all with these flavors I really think it comes down to preference. The beauty of these flavors lies in their subtlety. If you appreciate a break from overly sweet and icy disposables, you'll likely find these Yumi options appealing.



Performance
This vape consistently delivers a good and satisfying vaping experience. I personally didn’t experience any dry hits or less flavor in the time I had with these vapes. It produces a good amount of vapor for the small MTL device it is. There is nothing to adjust in terms of wattage or airflow, so it really is directed to those who like to keep it simple and just want an MTL vaping experience.

Verdict
To put it all together, the Yumi DC5000 seems like a worthy contender in the disposable market, it seems to actually be more targeted towards adults, like these products should be. The design isn’t overly childish, but it’s stylish and ergonomic. The flavors aren’t as sweet as candy, but still unique and very enjoyable. It has a good enough battery for a disposable vape and a large e-liquid capacity, that should definitely get you to around those 5000 puffs. It could definitely be a good choice for those disposable vapers that are looking for something different in terms of flavor, but still reliable.

JUST JUICE BANANA & MANGO

It was just about time for a fruity soup, as I've been quite immersed in a sea of dessert flavours lately. Looking at the manufacturer's products, there are mostly fruity flavours - of which I'm presenting you with the 'umpteenth' taste test. /There are also a few tobacco products in their palette that you might also want to try./ My current choice will be a banana and mango blend. This is a bit of an odd choice for me, as mango is a much more characterful flavour than banana, hence there may be a slight suppression in the flavours in the aroma.
The smell is reminiscent of a ripe mango, a little different from the usual fruit smell, perhaps due to the blend with banana, but distinctly pleasant.
Flavours: the basic flavour is mango, which completely dominates the soup, with a hint of cooling and a little banana /this/. The mango is very characterful, tart and ripe, and has a very pleasant aroma. The cooling is about 10/3 on the scale, just barely chilled, which I think is enough. The slight sweetness can be tasted along with the tartness, which makes you feel a well ripened fruit in your mouth. Unfortunately, the banana was very much left behind in the queue as no matter how much I tweaked it, somehow it just wouldn't introduce itself to me. I was kind of expecting it, but I was hoping it would be somewhere in the mango pile.
All in all, the product did not disappoint: the mango is beautifully crafted, a slightly sweet, tangy-flavoured cool fruit to savour and steam, even in an all-day version.

It has a pleasant lemon scent, which makes you feel that you are not dealing with a sour taste, but rather a sweet creamy one. The scent gave me a taste that could be compared to an intense lemon paste. Somehow that was my first thought when smelling it, but it didn't turn out that way. On the inhale it tasted of lemon, and on the exhale it tasted of waffle dough, almost perfectly confirming the manufacturer's description. The flavours are not too intense, but the fruit and the waffle are still very evident. The lemon is very soft, with both a touch of acidity and a touch of sweetness. For my part, I'd say a good lemon cream, or rather a foam, spread thickly over the waffle batter. The batter is also noticeable as a secondary flavour, as it only gives a support to the lemon foam in the product. It has a very pleasant consistency, the flavours are soft, yet you can really make out what you're making. Somehow, this lemon cream or foam, whoever calls it what it is, makes your head spin, which gives you a very pleasant steaming experience. Definitely recommended for those who like not too intense and complex dessert flavours.

I just got the Vaporesso Luxe and it's a great device but the part that opens the tank to put juice in is a cheap plastic piece. Since I just got it, the plastic in still attached, but after filling it up day after day, it seems like the plastic will eventually tear off.

Hello,

I've looked back in here last night after "re-discovering" my vape, which has a CUBOID 200 mod, and an Aspire Nautilus X tank.

I mainly started vaping in order to keep myself from developing a nicotine addiction, as I did enjoy smoking every now and then, but I wasn't yet addicted and I wanted to keep it that way, so I used all 0 nicotine juices and another benefit was all the different flavors.

Anyway back on topic, I haven't used my vape, for a couple years, it's literally been sitting on a shelf for all that time. It has accumulated some dust, and some dirt, and maybe rust?

The mod just had some dust on it, but the tanks (I have one larger, and one smaller) both seem to have some crud and possibly some rust on them.

So I assume I should clean my tanks well, as in take them apart and wash with warm water, and maybe scrub some of the harder parts with isopropyl alcohol?

When I put it down 2+ years ago, I had vaped a bit, but my coils still had a ton of life left in them. I wonder could I still use these same coils after they've been sitting soaked with the old juice this long, or get new ones, or what?

I've gone back and revisited Mrkt Plce iced grapefruit citrus sugar berry mix. I'm not a big fan of iced flavors but it does work in this and a couple other fruit flavors as well. Had a disposable once that was banana ice. It wasn't a banana candy/taffy but more like banana. It was interesting but I couldn't find another one. Another disposable, an Elf bar had a strawberry ice that was really good. My next flavor order is gonna have koolada included. For some reason, I think a lemon ice would be nice.

From the punchy "Tribal Force" series, I have once again brought you a powerful flavour that is made up of three components: grapes, mango and passion fruit. Of course, the "terrible" chilling will not be missed here either, but as we are used to this from the producer's products, I started the testing with a throat chilling preparation.
The smell brings the scent of fine otello grapes, very strong and worth it.
The taste was quite angry , the punchy chill, the strong taste of grapes and the tartness of the mango all produce a more acidic taste that the passion fruit seems to get lost in. So, let's start at the beginning. On the inhale, the strong cooling, which is about 10/8 power, almost immediately burns the throat, followed by the grape, which is quite a bit overripe, but still enjoyable, dominating the flavours from the beginning to the end of the steaming. On the exhale, the mango also shines through, but only as an undercurrent, as it only adds acidity to the base flavour. The mango is a little dry and there is no sweetness. The passion fruit is not really evident as the grape and the cooling take over the aroma. There are no artificial flavours, but it's obvious (to me at least) that the cooling is a bit overdone, with the grapes on arm, and the mango supporting in the background, you get a really flavourful trio. I dread to think what it can do in a mesh-plate boiler at 50-60 watts . The product yielded the "frosty grape" as described by the manufacturer although we won't be big buddies, just because of the strong cooling and the excessive and intense flavour.
