Hello,

I'm having problems getting any flavor out of my (authentic) Kayfun. It's my first rebuildable and I feel like I've tried everything, I've wicked it close to 50 times and changed ~10 coils and I just can't get it right. I've watched about every single video on YouTube about it and they all seem to have a different method, yet I just can't get it right.

I got it right one time, and that was on my first ever build, however it was popping and crackling so much that I figured it wasn't normal. I eventually found out that was because of a broken o-ring in the chimney which I now have changed. I'm guessing that caused it to wick very efficiently? However, even if I use it as a dripper it's muted, which leads me to believe it's not a wicking problem. I don't get dry-hits and it's never leaked.

There's no off-taste, I get good amounts of vapor, but it's always just muted.

I keep my (2.5ID) coils 1mm-2mm (closer to 2mm) above the airflow. I only have 28g kanthal wire and I've tried both contact and spaced builds, 5-8 wraps. I've tried various thickness of the cotton. I vape at 12-16 watts, depending on the ohms.

I've used cotton bacon prime, but now I'm using BP Mods Pro cotton 2.5mm as I feel like it's easier to be consistent with.

What can I be doing wrong? This tank surely can't be this finicky, when most of the reviews says it's easy to build and they all seem to have a different way of building and wicking it. I should have got it right by accident by now. It's not vapers tongue and it's not the juice as it gives me great flavor in my Zlide tank.

It's the 22mm tank and I'm using the 4ml cap.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, suggestions for 28g kanthal coil builds etc, so I can eliminate at least one of the variables while troubleshooting my building and wicking. I'm so close to giving it up and buying a pod.

I've brought you a beverage flavouring, a popular orange soda that everyone knows. You can smell the carbonated orange juice in the aroma alone, which tells you that this is going to be a sweet and for me, not an all day soup. It's not that I don't like the sweeter flavours, but I can't drink the soda itself all day. Going in you get a strong and sweet orange flavour that saturates you quite nicely. And on the way out, the soda appears, almost bubbling at the end of your tongue as you drink the drink. I mixed the flavouring at 10%, but it was still quite sweet. If I compare it to the original soda, it has about twice as much sweetener and therefore you don't really get the acidity of the orange. After two or three tanks, the sweetness overpowers the orange, which gets a bit stale in your mouth. I can't imagine anyone mixing this at 20%, I think that would be very unhealthy. I wouldn't say it's not delicious, I just have a problem with the proportions. It does give back the refreshing taste, smell and carbonation, but it's very over-sweetened. It's typical of the taste that after the first tank you say "yeah, that's it, strong flavours, very tasty" then the second tank "yeah, not bad" but you only quietly comment on that, by the third tank you're letting it go "it'll be good in a few months" - trusting it will be good

So i have been vaping for a while now trying different aromas every time, but most of the times the flavor is meh.

My question is regards to mixing 2 aromas together. I like to have a freshness to my liquid and decided i'd buy some standalone strawberry, orange, kiwi,... aroma and a few bottles of mint aromas. Most of these aromas should be mixed at 15% according to the site. Let's say i want to mix the strawberry and the mint aroma. I want a combination of them both, but I want the strawberry to come out really well.

Should i just mix the Strawberry at 15% of my liquid and add 10% of the mint, so i just use less base?
Or should i stay at 15% in total and go for 10% strawberry and 5% mint?

I'd love to hear your guys' opinion on this!

Hi everyone. I'm wondering if anyone out there has the same issue....?
I actually hope a representative of Vandy Vape sees this...and hopefully gives an explanation.
I'm at my wits end here. The problem is specifically with the 0.6 ohm coil....I use it in the Jackaroo pod. I've bought a few packs some months ago, and almost half of them don't wick properly. Right from installation (I do drop and soak properly before use) some coils just don't stay wet. After a few pulls it gives off a burnt taste.
The 0.3ohm coils don't do that though.
My thinking is the cotton isn't tightly contained enough between the two casings inside the coil.
If it was a cotton issue, the 0.3 would do that to.
Hopefully I just bought a bad batch...although i'm very reluctant to buy more of these 0.6 coils.
Can anyone shine any light one this plz.
