Boge 510 Cartomizer

Hi all,

I'm looking for a a place to buy more cartomizers from. These are Boge, 510 threaded, 1-2 small hole prepunched, single coil, about 2ohm, about 49mm long, and flanged but the flange has two edges cut off. I don't think Boge makes them anymore but there are some after market ones out there somewhere. Does anyone know where I can get some?

Followup question, why are cartomizers no longer being sold? I like the way the hit better and it seems like my carto tank holds more liquid by mass than the new stuff out there.

Why will the e-Cigarette Market be Any Different?

"Rather than make cannabis a Main Street fixture, California’s strict regulations have led most industry operators to close shop, flee the state or sell in the state’s illegal market that approaches $8 billion annually, twice the volume of legal sales.

Local government opposition, high taxes and competition from unlicensed businesses are complicating California’s push to build a thriving legal market."

California’s legal weed industry can’t compete with illicit market

Funny How CA Legislators/Regulators Ignore this. But are doing Everything to Ensure the Same Thing happens to the e-Cigarette Nicotine Market.

UNIVAPO MISO PRO POD review by hittman

Hello everyone. I’m here this time with a review for a company that you may not know much about. To be honest, I really wasn’t very familiar with them until they contacted me and asked me to do a review for them. I’m sure the suspense is killing you by now so I’ll go ahead and tell you that the company I’m speaking of is Univapo. I’ve heard a little talk here and there on the forum about some of their pod devices but not a lot. They are looking to grow and get their name out. I was sent their Miso Pro pod device in order to provide a fair and honest review for you the readers and perhaps help you decide if you’d like to purchase one to try. The Miso Pro is a fairly simple device but has a couple of nice features that I’ll discuss later in this review.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

I thought the packaging on the Miso Pro was nice. The front of the box shows a nice color picture of the device inside and there is a tab on one end that makes it easy to slide out the tray that holds the Miso Pro and accessory pack. The envelope containing the user manual was on top and underneath was the device with a pod already installed and a coil pre-installed. There was a sticker with the Univapo logo on the bottom of the coil to keep it from being fired before it is filled.

Included in the kit was the device with the single pod and one coil pre-installed and in the accessory box was a USB-C charging cord and a second coil. The UNC coils included are a .8 mesh and a 1.2 ohm standard coil. I know it’s not common practice but it would be nice if there was a second pod included. I also received an extra package of .8 ohm coils for the review but it’s not included in the kit when you purchase it. You’ll just get the two included coils.

upload_2021-10-23_10-8-1.png

upload_2021-10-23_10-8-19.png

On the front of the Miso Pro is the large fire button and a single indicator light that illuminates when the device is activated. It can be activated by pressing the fire button or can be used as an auto draw device. The indicator light indicates the battery level. The color of the light shows three different battery levels. Green=High, Blue=Medium, and Red=Low. There are not different output levels on this device and it is determined by the coil resistance. As far as I know there are only the two available coils which are .8 and 1.2 ohm resistance. Also on the front near the bottom is the MISO PRO name etched.

There are only two button operations for the Miso Pro. Five presses of the fire button turns it on or off and three presses of the fire button will lock out the fire button so it will only work in auto draw mode.

upload_2021-10-23_10-9-24.png

On the left side of the battery is the USB-C charging port which is rated for 5V/2A which if this holds true then should charge the battery in about 30 minutes or so. Also you can see on the left side since that’s the way I inserted the pod, is the side fill plug which means you can fill the pod without removing the pod which is a very nice feature in my opinion. The fill plug is pulled from the top but does not rotate so you may have to hold it out of the way while filling. It goes back in place very securely without any mess as long as you don’t over fill the pod.

upload_2021-10-23_10-9-59.png

upload_2021-10-23_10-10-18.png

On the side opposite of the fire button side is the Univapo name etched near the bottom and there is no other branding on the unit.

upload_2021-10-23_10-11-34.png

On the right side is a single airflow hole and there is a viewing window with horizontal lines molded into the side of the pod. The pod can be inserted either way so you can have the fill port and viewing window on either side. Rotating the pod does slightly affect the airflow.

upload_2021-10-23_10-12-44.png

The bottom of the Miso Pro has the 1000mah battery rating on it with the words Made in China and the CE electrical insignia. It is rubberized and can be stood up on a table. It’s a fairly small device like most pod devices like this so it can be fairly easily tipped over.

upload_2021-10-23_10-13-20.png

The pod opening on the Miso Pro has two magnets and two gold plated contacts inside as well as the airflow sensor opening in the left corner of my picture. It seems to be a very secure connection and I have had no issue with the pod coming out accidentally. The sensor does sit a little higher than the base of the inside to help protect should a liquid spill happen. There is a notch in one side of the pod and the way it’s supposed to work is that if you put the pod in with that notch closer to the airflow sensor then it’s supposed to be for RDL and if you rotate the pod with the notch further away it’s supposed to be for MTL. I honestly could tell very little difference between inserting the pod either way.

upload_2021-10-23_10-13-57.png

The pod for the Miso Pro is just slightly tinted which makes it fairly easy to see the liquid level while filling.

3CAONlv.jpg

The coils are threaded on the back end and there is a knurled nut that screws onto them then the entire assembly is threaded into the pod. I’ve seen this type of design before and honestly am not thrilled about it because if you lose that nut then you can’t use the device. The nut has small airflow holes in it to allow the airflow in through the body of the device and then up to the coil.

ZpBWTMn.jpg

wQ4cewX.jpg

FINAL THOUGHTS:

The Miso Pro is a very simplistic pod device but sometimes simple is better. Do you really need different power levels, screen display, or ten button combinations? Sometimes you just want a good vape and don’t want to mess with all that stuff. Especially if you just want something to throw in a pocket that just works when you need it to. That’s what the Miso Pro is in my opinion.

The flavor production was very good in my opinion for a small pod device. I used some dinner lady lemon tart in it during testing and thought the flavor came through nicely and it delivers plenty of vapor. I did prefer the .8 ohm pod which is rated 13-18 watts but there is the 1.2 ohm pod for those that like a lower output coil at 9-12 watts.

I do wish that the Miso Pro had a real airflow control like some other pod devices I’ve tested before. This being said, I do tend to like an airy MTL and the Miso Pro does have that. I can get an RDL from it with the .8 pod but it’s a bit tight. In my opinion it is just better as a loose MTL device with either coil. I can tell a very small difference depending on which way I insert the pod but never got that tight MTL like some people might look for.

So, would I recommend it for you? If you’re looking for what seems to be a well-built small pod device for out and about that delivers very good flavor with a loose MTL then yes I would. I’d like to thank Univapo for sending the Miso Pro Pod kit for this review and a great big thank you to the readers. ASPIRE MIXX SBS MOD review by hittman

The subject of today’s review is the Aspire Mixx mod which was sent to me by Sourcemore for the purpose of providing this review. I’ve only started to get into SBS (side by side) mods over the last few months and have three or four. The Mixx has quickly become one of my favorites. The shape and hand feel remind me of the Aspire Boxx which I very much like. The Mixx can be used with most tanks up to 24mm in diameter and a height of at least 30mm is desirable so that the drip tip extends past the top of the mod. As far as operations, it only does VV, VW, and Bypass which honestly will be fine for most vapers. I know there are some out there that still use temperature control but it seems to me like that number is dwindling over time. The Mixx is a really nice unit and is CNC machined which takes 30 minutes per unit to make.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the Mixx is what I would consider somewhat nice and reminded me of the packaging on the Boxx. The color picture on the front outer sleeve shows the tuxedo version but I received the quicksilver edition. I don’t know if the outer cover shows the same picture no matter what color you order but mine did not match.

The back side of the package shows the contents of the kit and contains a warning and the address for the parent company.

upload_2021-10-23_9-37-13.png

upload_2021-10-23_9-37-31.png

Once the outer sleeve is removed, you see the mod with a black paper around the outer edge that says Designed by Sunbox on the top. Underneath sits the optional tube that allows you to use an 18350 battery and decrease the height of the mod. In order to do this though you must remove the two screws on the top of the battery tube top plate and use the included extra screws for the shorter tube. I haven’t had any 18350 batteries in years so was only able to test the Mixx with a single 18650 battery.

On what I’m going to call the front of the mod in order to describe the aesthetics is the nice sized fire button that sits inside the cut out in the front. The button is a bit clicky with no rattle and has a nice quality feel to it. Below the button is the Aspire name etched into the body vertically. I find it interesting that they decided to put their name here since it will most likely always be covered by the hand when holding the unit. I have found that I like to wrap my hand around from the back side and fire with my middle finger while resting my lower two fingers over the Aspire name.

upload_2021-10-23_9-38-6.png

On the left side are the + and – buttons to adjust wattage or voltage. They do protrude a little but I find them just a little on the small side. The way I like to hold the mod, my hand covers the buttons so I can’t really adjust the settings while holding the mod normally. This isn’t a huge deal but I guess could bother some people. Under the buttons are a couple of grooves cut into the body of the Mixx horizontally. I guess they are just for looks since they really don’t add anything to the hand feel for me. The battery tube also has three horizontal grooves that match the grooves on the base so they must just be for aesthetics.

upload_2021-10-23_9-38-42.png

On the right side of the mod is the MIXX name etched into the body and once again the three horizontal notches in the side of the mod. The notches are on both sides but do not run all the way around.

On the back side of the mod there is no branding and you just see the back of the battery tube. I do kind of wish I had an 18350 battery so I could try the Mixx in the shorter configuration.

upload_2021-10-23_9-39-24.png

upload_2021-10-23_9-39-42.png

Looking at the MIxx from the top side you can see that the inside of the battery tube is marked with a large red + to mark the battery polarity and the battery cap also has a – sign carved into the underside of it.

upload_2021-10-23_9-40-29.png

upload_2021-10-23_9-40-42.png

On the bottom of the Mixx is the star of the show. The display screen on the Mixx seems rather old school to me. It reminds me of displays of days past. It does however show all the important information. The screen displays battery level, coil resistance, output voltage, output amperage, and of course the set wattage in larger font. They also put the Designed By Sunbox information on the bottom. I found the display to be large enough to see easily and the mod fires quickly despite the old school display. I kind of laughed inside when I saw the lock/unlock symbol when you lock the adjustment buttons on the device. It reminded me of an old Atari game.

The screen adjusts in .1 watt increments but if you hold one of the adjustment buttons down then it will fast scroll in 1 watt increments. Also it will round robin if you hit the high or low setting.

The button operation is fairly straight forward and its operation is as follows.

- Press the fire button five times to lock the device

- While locked, hold the fire button down to turn it off

- Once off, press the fire button five times to turn it back on

- Press the fire button three times to go into stealth mode

- Press the + and – buttons to flip the screen

- Press the + and fire button to switch between VW,VV, and Bypass

- Press the – and fire button to lock the adjustment buttons

upload_2021-10-23_9-41-30.png

FINAL THOUGHTS:

The Aspire Mixx is really a very well designed and well- built device in my opinion. It’s fairly lightweight being CNC machined mostly from aluminum. It has a maximum output of 60 watts which may not be enough for some people but I run a lot of tanks in the mid 20’s range so it’s really plenty for most rtas that I use normally.

I felt like the firing response time was very good and I didn’t notice any output drop as the battery level got lower. The Mixx does not have a USB charging port so you have to charge your batteries externally. This could be a pro or a con depending on the person using it. I do kind of wish it had a port but wouldn’t keep me from purchasing it. One thing I don’t really love is the battery cap. It’s very similar to the one on the Boxx and is just a little hard to control when screwing the cap on after changing batteries.

One other thing I noticed was if I hold the mod and put my pinky underneath the mod then it irritates my pinky a little bit on the edges of the bottom plate. I think that could be solved by rounding the edges of the bottom plate a little more. It could just be me or the sample I received as I know a lot of people love this mod and I haven’t heard any complaints on the hand feel of it.

So, would I recommend the Aspire Mixx for others to purchase and enjoy? Yes, no questions asked. I think it’s a really great mod and fairly inexpensive for such a quality built device. I’d like to thank Sourcemore and Joyi for sending the Aspire Mixx for this review and thanks to the readers that always show up to read my reviews. I'm an idiot

Hi everyone, new member from England UK, needing advice, I use T20 coils with a I stick power pack, I was burning coils every couple of days, so I messed about with the settings and now it's worse, but I can't remember what the original settings were, does anyone know what settings I should be using for a T20 coil? It's 13-14w, so I have the I stick on 13.5, but don't have a clue about the other settings.

Aspire Vilter Review by Dreamvaper

Hello fellow ECF members.:2cool:
I'd like to discuss the Aspire Vilter Kit that was sent to me by Aspire for the purpose of providing a fair and honest review.

Most experience vapers (ex-smokers) will probably agree that switching from smoking to vaping was not easy for most of them and it is still very tough for a good part of smokers, especially the older ones.

Even considering the fact that a smoker knows how bad is smoking for his health and wants to quit, when he/she tries to quit cold turkey, more than 90-95% fail to do that as medical researches show. It's not only because of the addiction, for many, the main problem is that the feel/process they are used to is pretty different if we'll compare smoking and vaping. That is also a reason why for example HNB devices are really popular in many countries all around the world because they imitate the smoking process pretty good and it's making the job of switching for the healthier alternative much easier for smokers.

When I first saw the Aspire Vilter ads I immediately thought about these current smokers who don't want to switch to vaping because of the difference in process - they may not like the plastic/metal drip tips or the absence of the cigarette filter feel when you slightly bite on it. If you used to smoke you probably know it's important at least in the beginning of the switching process. People in general are pretty conservative and it's hard to switch for something totally new even when the health issue is on the map.

Btw, when I was switching from smoking to vaping, there was still a 1st gen. of cig-a-likes on the market. They imitate the cig form factor well but it was the only pro I guess because they were so bad in general: a 100-200 mAh battery that wasn't enough to serve you even for the few hours and the charging time was ridiculous btw, the "juice" back then was the worst blend of tobacco flavour you can imagine, vapour amount was very small and so on but even then it was helping us smokers to switch thanks to the form factor and a similar process.

It's great that the vape industry is moving forward and today we have any types of e-juices and something like Aspire Vilter on the market to help smokers switch with ease. Let's check what is all about:

Vilter Kit is the newest vaporizer device in Aspire series. It comes with 450mAh internal battery, and is charged with USB Type-C port. Aspire Vilter allows you to enjoy the feeling of a cigarette filter with an artificial paper filter drip tip. With auto draw mode, you can enjoy the full taste of your favorite flavors. Aspire Vilter Pod Vaporizer uses premium 1.0ohm mesh coil heads in conjunction with the perfect airflow for an intense and rich flavor experience. (c)

Vilter comes in a compact box. It contains the device, Type C charging cable, manual, the pod with a built in coil, a plastic tip and 2 paper cig-a-like drip tips. (Additional paper tips you can buy separately, they are sold in different colours btw, check here if interested).

Both plastic and paper drip tips are pretty comfortable in my opinion but for smokers who are just starting the switching process the paper filter will be a preferable option I believe - it imitates the cig mouthfeel very well. (A slim cig I have to add)

The pod comes with a magnet lock and holds pretty well.
Refilling process is easy - you lift the plastic part on the bottom of the pod and fill it up to 2ml of e-liquid of your choice. Needle head bottles are preferable as the hole is not too big.

5-10 minutes of waiting time after the first refill and we are ready to go (device came pre-charged from the box).

There are no buttons and screens on the device to make it easy to use for ones who are just switching from smoking I guess + it's a big plus for older people who don't want to check the small numbers on the tiny screens etc.

Auto-draw function works well. I was impressed with the amount of vapor considering the small coil used. Taste wise it is also on the good side in my opinion.
Not sure how long will the coil last, was using mine for about a week and it's still good.

Battery holds for around 2.5 days for me and the charging is pretty fast thanks to Type C connection.
Vilter comes in a range of different colours btw. Check here if interested.

My Final Thoughts on Vilter:

I believe Aspire did a really Good Job here :thumb:
Vilter kit is not the most powerful, beautiful or revolutionary device on the market but I believe it may and Will help a lot of smokers quit and this is one of the most important things - the initial reason the Vapes were created for!
If you have relatives or friends who wants/tried to quit (and failed) I can surely recommend you trying this simple device in order to help them quit.

Keep vaping and Stay Safe guys

[Discussion] Which one is more cost-effective? Analog cigarettes or E-cigarettes?

More and more people are switching from smoking traditional cigarettes to electronic cigarettes. The latter was proven as less harmful than the former.

E-cigarette have evolved rapidly, producing the newest trends and ingenuity.

So is it still more cost-effective as compared to analog cigars?

If I may answer, e-cigarette is still more cost-effective.

Health issues especially with respiratory caused by traditional cigarettes may lead to a higher cost on hospital bills.

E-cigarettes are not claimed to be a hundred percent harmless, but still it is the best option.

We just have to keep in mind that everything in excess is not good for ourselves.

I'm back to vaping! I'm so lost!

I stopped vaping a few years ago. Around 2016ish. I used to make my own juice. But now that I'm back, why are mods and hardware so cheap and DIY supplies more expensive? Nicotine to be exact!
I used to use 36mg PG based liquid nicotine solution. I can't find it for a decent price.
I'm looking to make two recipes I used to ADV. A CF Krypt clone and a mustard milk recipe I made.
Where can I get everything in one place that isn't through the roof on prices? I'm talking bottles, pg/vg, syringes, nic? I don't need a huge bulk amount of nic as I'm at 3mg and plan to drop lower.
I've got a site for flavoring so I'm set on that.

Closed/Sold Warlock Project Mods (2) by Damnmod

Damnmod Warlock Project
$400 (both) or $225 each
US Priority Shipping included (non-US buyers pay shipping at their cost & preference)

- “Full Color” editions (9gr lighter per device than the “Elites”)
- 1 Dlcodes (all charcoal)
- 1 EVOLV DNA60 (charcoal body w/black low-lock)
- SS battery tubes (by Damnmod)
- Weight: 71gr
- 25 mm max atomizer diameter

Includes
- 18650 and 18350 tubes (each device includes 1 of each)
- 2 (removeable) charcoal 18650 battery tube covers
- 1 (removeable) black 18650 battery tube cover (looks better on the DNA60)

Technically, they’re both the same color (charcoal gray), but the DNA one is slightly darker than the Dicodes. Apparently, this isn’t unheard of with printed mods, but I previously unfamiliar with that issue. The difference looks larger in the pics than it does to the naked eye (for whatever that might be worth).

Thin and light mods. VERY comfortable and nice to use. Front button is not intrusive at all, and both have always fired perfectly, NEVER missing. They fit perfectly in a front pocket, and easily fill-the-bill as an EDC choice.

They’re great mods and I’ve REALLY enjoyed them. I simply have way too much stuff and decided to pare down a bit.

My loss, (blah-blah-blah)…

I don’t believe these can be purchased any longer, at least not directly from the manufacturer. That’s a shame because they really are something special (IMO).

I think that’s it. It’s late, and I’m probably going to bed. I expect this ad might sit for a spell anyway (possibly a long spell too). If anyone has any questions, hit me up.

Dave

Vaporesso PX80

I have been having a lot of trouble with with my Berserker Mini V2 rebuildable tank. The nautilus tank I have is also good but I think I may be better off with this setup if it makes sense. The Vaporesso PX80 with the .3 coil rated 32-45 watts but I'll only vape it at 5 watts with 50 mg salt nic. This is much more convenient for me overall for many reasons. The coils last very long, I can easily get more near me and I can replace the pod if needed. I like the fact that the mod is adjustable wattage, good looking, has a puff counter and features unlike my uwell Caliburn G that I use sometimes. I wouldn't go over certain wattage that is too much to handle compared to a pod system made for salt nic.

I'm wondering if it's logical to use the Vaporesso PX80 for salt nic. I already filled a new pod a put in a new coil and like I said I'm only vaping it at 5 watts. I'm getting great flavor and the cloud is decent but not huge. Is this a normal way to vape?

Innokin CoolFire Z80 Mod - Review

Hi ECF members, In this review I take a look at the CoolFire Z80 Mod from Innokin. The Innokin Coolfire Z80 Mod was supplied for the purpose of this review By Sourcemore.

https://www.sourcemore.com/innokin-coolfire-z80-vape-mod.html

aCNf7zh.jpg

Introduction

Innokin are one of the old guard when it comes to vaping manufacturers yet they have not only stayed relevant but are also leading the way in innovation. The Coolfire Z80 incorporates the same innovative new technology that was introduced with the Sensis Pod Mod which both improves flavour and coil longevity by using a coil refresh feature and new F0 technology which uses AC Current! After using both the Sensis and the Coolfire Z80 I am very impressed and can see F0 Mode and the Refresh feature being Innokin's standard technology in the future!

I have already reviewed the Kit version of this device that saw the Coolfire Z80 paired with the Zenith II Tank but was asked to review just the Mod which is handy as I made a point of saying when I reviewed the Kit that hopefully the mod would become available on it's own for those interested in the device but prefer rebuildable atomisers. So for those who don't want to read the full kit review but just find out more about the device, here goes!!!!

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

Like the kit the device only version comes in recycled cardboard packaging with the mod on show in the top tier and all accessories below! I received the White Leather version which has a Silver Zinc Alloy frame and cushioned White Leather spine, the options are Leather Black, Ash Grey, Leather White and Cloudy Grey. The frame is either Silver, Black or Gunmetal depending which spine option you choose, all spines are padded with the White and Black being Leather and Cloudy and Ash Grey versions having a Suede Leather covering!

The device has a curved spine with either soft Leather or cushioned Suede finishes, the sides flatten out towards the front of the device. Between the spine and main frame sections we have a bracket either side, on one bracket we have "INNOKIN" carved and on the other "COOLFIRE Z80".

Moving to the face which is darkly tinted we have a nicely machined round protruding fire button with Copper edging which is only a small detail but one i like a lot! Below we have the screen followed by two small round protruding navigational buttons lined up vertically followed by the Type C USB connection port!

moving up top we have a slightly raised 510 plate with Gold plated, spring loaded 510. At the base of the device we find a battery plate with fold out lever and venting holes! The Coolfire Z80 is light but not in a cheap way as it's build quality is excellent, it's also compact making it a lovely device to use when out and about as well as at home.

Fitting The Battery

The Coolfire Z80 accommodates a single 18650 battery via the bottom of the device by unscrewing the battery plate.

This style of installing your battery is old school but much loved and still used on many high end devices, you can't damage your wraps and it guarantees you will get no battery movement. I particularly like this style when a fold out lever is included making it much quicker and less fiddly to secure in place, on this battery plate as well as a fold out lever we also have venting holes which is good to see!

The Display

The display gives plenty of info and is bright, sharp and uses colour sparingly which i find pleasing to the eye!

Top left we have the mode which will be W (normal variable wattage), V (Normal Variable Voltage) or F0 (Find your frequency mode), top right we have the battery status bar.

Underneath the information given we have the wattage or Voltage depending which mode you are in. The lower section of the display shows to the left vape duration followed by your puff count and to the right we have resistance followed by bottom right the voltage which instead will display wattage in voltage mode or the frequency when using F0!

Operating The Coolfire Z80

The Coolfire Z80 is 3 clicks of the fire button to turn on and pressing fire and down together locks the navigational buttons but the device will still fire, when locked a padlock will appear under the mode and fire and right again unlocks. Pressing fire and up together brings up a screen showing the voltage on the battery, resistance of the coil and puff count, it also has an option to reset the puffs!

To enter the main menu is pressing both navigational buttons together which takes you to a list with the following options, F0, Power, Refresh, Settings and Exit, unlike on the Sensis F0 mode is unlocked out the box so no code is needed!

When selecting F0 it allows you to select an AC frequency which is something you can just play around with to find the best for different coil and juice combinations, for now I have just set it to 60hertz, there is also a Find F group on Facebook where people can discuss which frequency they find best for which coil which will be a good resource for some but I am just the type who likes to find out over time for myself!

Selecting Power allows you to choose between Wattage or Voltage modes while selecting Refresh fires your coil at 40% of your set power with AC current to draw liquid in so gives it a fresh prime which i must say does seem to spring life into a coil when getting old (flavour definitely improves after a refresh), this gives you the option of either a 4 or 8 second refresh!

Selecting Settings brings up the following options, Op Screen, Timeout, Cutoff, Device ID, Reset, Exit. These settings don't need to be explained as they are standard and seen on most devices but the Op Screen allows you to change from the default Pro working screen to a more minimalistic display which doesn't give information like puffs etc although it still keeps a count and you can check puffs as explained earlier by pressing fire and left together. Finally to change the wattage you have to hold down either the up or down button for a couple of seconds which will cause the wattage to flash, it can now be adjusted in 0.5w increments from 6w up to 80W, it round robins. Below the new modes and features are explained!

_________________________________________________________________________

Refresh

Refresh is a new feature that allows you to manually refresh the coil between hits to provide better wicking, bringing in flavour and to extend the coils life. Refresh does this by firing at 40% of your set wattage, drawing in more liquid.

gmUzDsI.jpg

_________________________________________________________________________

Find Your Frequency (FØ)

FØ uses alternating current (AC) to produce a waveform that runs continuously while you vape. This is possible by sending an electrical output in a much more precise and efficient way through the coil.

You can adjust the hertz output to match your coil and e-liquid. When properly matched to your atomizer, FØ will extend coil life, provide smoother heat transfer, and even enhance specific flavours in e-liquid. AC will heat your e-liquid at a gradual rate, ensuring that it does not burn and produce a bad taste, so many of us have experienced.

(Disclaimer: After testing the device i really couldn't see how I could explain the new technology any better than Innokin themselves so the above information was a copy and paste from their website)

_________________________________________________________________________

Charging

If you need to charge the battery in the device the Coolfire Z80 has a Type C USB connection and 1.7A charge rate, via the charging and data cable the device is also fully firmware upgradeable!

While charging the screen displays a charging progress icon and also gives the charge as a percentage, pass-through is also supported!

My Experience Using The Coolfire Z80!

After using the Sensis and now reviewing both the Coolfire Z80 Mod only and kit versions I am more convinced than ever that it's no gimmick, the new technology works great giving incredible coil life and improved flavour!

The F0 mode and Refresh features were explained in the review and in F0 Mode coil life improves dramatically and the flavour also in my experience definitely improves, when using the occasional Refresh once the coil head or build is getting older it really does give it a new lease of life giving a saturated vape full of flavour!

Despite all the new technology I like how user friendly the device is so new vapers don't need to be put off or blinded by science. It's build quality is excellent, it's both light and compact, fitting in the hand with ease and is so comfortable to hold and fire!

The Coolfire Z80 will accommodate up to a 25mm atomiser without overhang so most tanks you would want to use on a single 18650 device with look great. Battery life also seems efficient giving full value for your mAh's and if you need to charge in the device or upgrade we have a Type C connection and 1.7A charge rate! The only con I have for the mod is the puff counter resets every time the battery is removed!

When I reviewed the kit version I did say the Coolfire Z80 with it's innovation was the best device I had tested this year and that still remains the case, I really hope both single and dual 21700 versions are in the pipeline!!!!!!!

Looking for tank to use with freemax m pro coils (besides the ones stated)

Hello,
I have been on the hunt for a new tank to use with the freemax mesh pro coils (the one that come in the three pack). The slide tops are horrible and always leak.
I am currently using the fireluke pro tank which is a twist on top but the resin constantly chips and breaks on this tank. The new freemax slide tops are supposed to be improved and not open as easily but I have tried them, they still suck.
I have heard about the augvape skynet pro and the metis tanks. Can't find these anywhere. They are all sold out or discontinued.
There has to be more tanks out there that are compatible, does anyone know of any other tanks that are compatible with these coils?
Thank you!
