These are the 4 main features indicated by the manufacturer for this new Mini version clearly based on the "Origin" project. Unlike the Origin X 60W and Origin Aio 40W which were both powered by an external 18650 battery the new Mini relies on a built-in 2,200mAh battery capable of pushing it up to 60W. Furthermore, to improve the feeling with the user, the convenient refill from the top has been introduced on the 4ml cartridge of Origin Mini.
The cartridge remains compatible with Oxva's excellent Unicoil platform. Origin Mini also maintains a certain similarity with previous models as regards the use of the materials used; such as zinc alloy and the neat and elegant IML decoration.
The Origin Mini form factor is still the slim and slender one I already knew, however the device seems to have gained ergonomics with even more compact dimensions.



On the front side of Origin Mini we find the classic arrangement of the control panel with the 0.69 "OLED display in the center which shows all the useful information for the vape, the fonts are quite bright and well readable. On this side there are also the Fire button and the selection button, both circular in shape and with a fine metal texture. At the top there are two air intakes that direct the flow towards the coil in the lower part of the cartridge.

► Oxva Origin Mini; Operation Guide:
• Power On / Off: Press the Fire button 5 times.
• Puff Clear: Press the Fire button and the Adjust button together
• Power adjustment: With the Mod unlocked, press the adjustment button from 5 to 60W with an increase of 1W at a time.

The metal shell extends almost all over the body, the only exception is the back of the mod which seems to be coated with plastic material with IML decoration technique (very beautiful and colorful). Even the metal parts have eye-catching color combinations, my sample (Buddha) at the top is "bronze" and then fades to black at the bottom.
The painting of the frame and the IML insert appear to be protected by a transparent layer. Origin Mini is extremely smooth and velvety to the touch, I am ready to bet on the good quality of the paint that looks quite resistant.

These tests below only note my personal ESTIMATED ratings for the batteries I tested at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, or Sanyo can change at any time! This is one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of property damage, personal injury, or even death. They are not supposed to be used outside of a fully protected battery pack and you use them at your own risk. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous current rating and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.




Test Results
This is a decent performing cell that hits as hard as the Samsung 30T at the start but the Samsung 30T quickly outperforms it at both 10A and 30A. If this cell is less expensive though it can be a good choice for cost-sensitive moderate to high power applications.

I can not find a datasheet and do not know its true ratings but Vapcell lists these with a 3000mAh 35A rating. The H30 (an earlier version of the H30A) is rated at 3000mAh and 35A but that is a temperature-limited current rating and you must not let that cell exceed 75°C. For the H30A I recommend staying under 30A max and under 25A to reduce voltage sag and extend cell life. Like any Li-Ion round cell not in a protected battery pack, you use it at your own risk.

The two cells I tested delivered 3095mAh and 3134mAh, meeting Vapcell’s 3000mAh rating. That is a bit worse consistency than is typical for cells from the major manufacturers.

I do not know who carries these cells but if you cannot find them anywhere Vapcell donated them for testing so you could contact them: 18650 batteries, Vapcell batteries, 18650 Chargers

The Vinci Q differs from the Royal Edition because of a few things, the Q is a lightweight being made of ABS and PC materials along with having the option of button fire or auto-draw. Lets see some information on the Vinci Q prior to my review of it.

UNBOXING AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS


I have say that Pink is not a favorite color of mine and I was disappointed seeing a Pink Vinci Q but as I unboxed it my wife was with me and she told me immediately after seeing the Pink Vinci Q that it was hers after I finished testing of it, so it goes to her after writing this review.

Packaging is basic because the Q is sort of that way being that there is no display screen, adjustments hence no adjustment button and the lack of a airflow selector.

Inside the box the Q lays in a plastic tray with all that comes with the Q underneath it. Only 1 pod is supplied ( 1.2Ω ), charge cord, device and user manual. The pod is pre-installed on the device.





You will notice a protective sticker on the bottom of the pod protecting the coil from a accidental fire of the device during shipping, this sticker must be removed in order for the Q to operate. As the sticker says fill the pod with juice and let it sit for 5 minutes before vaping it.




Removing the sticker reveals the 2 Gold contacts of the pod that make connection with the 2 gold pins of the Q. The auto-draw stem on the Q and the 3 airflow feed holes that are on the pod are shown in the picture below. Airflow is very smooth and the draw is more on the tighter side but it's not tight nor is it loose, in my opinion it's just right. The auto-draw works well but I'm a button person, there is no difference in the draw between them.





The pods top fill works great and being a 2ml pod it fills up fast so when nearing top capacity of the pod slow down on the filling, the Q follows suit of previous Vinci Pods with a easy pop off mouthpiece that works well and is comfortable to use.





When looking at the Q for the first time you would swear that there is texture surrounding it as I did but it's a smooth to the touch and no texture can be felt, very nice illusion if I do say so.

On the front of the Q is the fire button that illuminates when pressed for vaping and also charging. When charging your color will be either Red if your battery is 30% or under or Green if it's above 30%.

While charging the button will also breath on and off until it reaches a full capacity at which point it will remain a steady Green light.







On the very bottom of the device is the word GENE as in the name of the chipset inside the Q that in very rounded with no sharp corners or edges, because the charge port is located on the side of the device and not on the bottom it can be stood upright if you want.





The back of the Q has the illusion of texture as well but that's not all, branding is barely visible on the Q backside but if you look hard you can make out VOOPOO in the center. The Q is such a featherweight making it a shirt pocket friendly device. The coating on the Q is kind of grippy in a way that's hard to explain. (I LIKE IT )





The Q has 2 airflow holes , 1 on each side of the device as you can see this is strictly a MTL device by the size of the holes and having no airflow selector. On the one side the airflow hole in in a valley or channel if you wish up high on the device so you don't block a hole with a finger when vaping. Another spot of branding lays inside the valley at the bottom of the Q.





On the other side of the device is another airflow hole above the charge port. No illusion of texture is found on either side of the Vinci Q, just the smooth finish is felt just like the rest of the Vinci Q feels.

* No Airflow Control - I think the airflow is just right and needs no airflow control, I only mention it because some people want one on their devices. You need to remember that the Q is a very simple and easy to use device that performs very well with the bare essentials it was intended to have.


USING THE VINCI Q


I have been very happy and pleased with the performance and flavor from the Q, I liked the 1.2Ω coil but would like to try the 0.8Ω and think it should have been included in the kit. The auto-draw worked very well and even though I prefer a button I used it for about 1/2 of the testing period with no problem.

The flavor is good and the vapor was more than enough. I can't tell you how many vapes I was able to get on a fully charged device because of it not having a puff counter but I can tell you that it lasted me for my entire day of working and was still going when I reached home daily.

The textured look is pretty neat without having any texture to it and somehow the Q feels kind of grippy but it's not, it's hard to explain but I like it. The top fill is so fast and easy to perform.

Having a button that reads the battery strength in colors is a nice feature on the Q.

All in all I'm very pleased with the Q and I do recommend it, so in closing this review I want to thank Aimer and Voopoo for Providing the Vinci Q for the purpose of this review, my wife thanks you as well.

Hi, I've been a member here for many years, but mostly a lurker. I bought Mt. Baker juices in Max VG forever, until they stopped shipping. PG gives me heavy lungs. My husband also vapes.

Im looking for the best tank for EUC 0.5ohm ceramic coils or ceramic coils as a whole.
Long time ago i had Veco solo kit with the same coils as my first vape, if i remember correctly it tasted really good, i may be wrong here but. Imo taste was better than most of the vapes, i have tried and had/have many vapes before like current Argus with PnP VM5 coils and have RDA's, RTA's n more.

Because i dont remember anymore i would like to ask are ceramic coils even good anymore?
Ive seen threads people comparing Veco vs Estoc tanks witch is better in that case.

And if you know this flavor, is there any other maker of ejuice that makes one that is similar? I do prefer at least 12 mg. I’m in Indiana, so this has to be from either IN or Illinois or another bordering state?
Backstory: all was well until my local Vape shop stopped carrying this recently… That’s when I found out about the new law changes and came on here to start talking to y’all about what to do about it… One of y’all recommended a place to order juice from, I did, it got here, but it is horrible! It’s heavy on the pomegranate and I can’t stand it, it tastes like chemicals or medicine or something, and I think it’s making me nauseous. 100% not blaming that company; it is not their fault that I’ve had the same flavor for like six years and got so used to it. I’m sure other people absolutely love this juice.

I am in the process of figuring out and beginning the DIY juice, but I am going to have to have something to tie me over in the meantime.

I also know that I could possibly replicate this formula, I see those recipes on here, but when I called the Vape shop to get more information about who this company is, all he would tell me is that he went out of business. They won’t give me the company name, nothing. And I told him I could replicate the formula if I could find out who made it, and he was still not giving me any kind of answers. That totally freaks me out by the way, but I’m gonna have to let it go for now. Loyal customer there since prolly 2014 too.

I guess I will have to order some blueberry pomegranate from some different companies to see which one I like best? How else am I going to know which formula to replicate? And in the meantime I’m going to have to put on my big girl pants and just I guess Vape other flavors. Annoying but whatever lol
