just looking for a little bit of advice ! I’ve just started vaping over Covid - I used to socially smoke and have vaped on nights out before etc but only just started using it regularly - primarily out of boredom and it helps my anxiety.

Just a few questions! If I’m drinking I can get though quite a bit of liquid and I was just wondering what was a safe limit to have?

I currently have a Voopoo Drag S, with a 4.5ml tank and I smoke between 25-35 watts. I make up my own shortfills with one nic shot which I believe is 3mg of nicotine?

If I’m drinking i’ll probably top up the tank about 3-4 times ( I obviously don’t vape till it’s empty) so maybe let’s say max 16ml? Is that a dangerous amount to be having ?
I sometimes have a bit of chest pangs which I’m not sure if it’s because of the nicotine ? It may just be anxiety palpitations

this is my other problem! Although it helps my overall anxiety it does trigger my health anxiety a little so just some advice on safe amounts that can’t hurt me would be really useful and appreciated !
Also occasionally my vape spits out some hot liquid whilst I’m vaping - is this dangerous as it’s going into my mouth? It’s never a lot, I think the coil gets oversaturated sometimes?

what will be left when the FDA does finally ban items. Will it be Vuse and other store e cigarettes or will they to be gone?

When I first bought my podstick I had zero issues with anything leaking (I used the ccell pod), but when it came time to use a new pod, every ccell pod in both of the 2 packs I ordered online have leaked out of the bottom of the pod (where the two circular magnets are located). Is this due to the juice I am using? I am using the 3mg/ml Pop clouds brand juice (70vg/30pg) in the cherry bomb flavor (I also have the blue razz flavor, but it leaks just the same in these pods).

Hello, I will be starting a new job at a hospital soon(hopefully) and I have to take a required nicotine test. I’ve been drinking a lot of water and cutting back on nicotine. I was reading here that many people vape nicotine but don’t always inhale. If I did that would nicotine show up on my nicotine test?

Hey' have you guys every experienced this issue while vaping. Basically atm every like 10 vapes or so feels like acid going down my throat. Its not acid reflux but like a acid burning sensation. Its horrible and idk if its the e-liquid or the coil

The subject of today’s review is yet another new product from Geekvape. I was sent the Geekvape M100 (Aegis Mini 2) for the purpose of providing a fair and honest review. I’ll see if I can live up to the expectations. The M100 includes the mod which has an internal 2500mah and is rated for 100 watts. Also included is the new Z Nano 2 tanks with a 3.5ml capacity and uses the B series coils. The M100 features the second generation Tri-proof technology and uses Buck-Boost technology.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The M100 kit came in the very nice reviewer sample packaging that you may have seen in a couple of my other reviews where once the top is removed there is an orange flap with some writing and flips open to expose the mod, tank, and spare glass in a foam insert with the accessories in a box underneath the insert.

The M100 mod is styled after the new IP68 design used on the Legend 2 which I reviewed some time ago. The mod features the 2nd generation Tri-proof technology to make it water and dust resistant as well as increased shock proof which equates to being better protected in more severe conditions.

On both sides of the mod is the Geekvape name on what I think is a metal plate. On the right side, besides the name, is the A-Lock slide control which allows the user to completely lock the device. I happen to like this feature while some people will complain that the mod cannot lock just the adjustment buttons.

The back of the mod has a padded leather covering with two vertical lines of stitching and three smaller lines of stitching near the top. I think we have all gotten used to seeing the leather on the back of the Aegis mods. However, prior versions had much more of the rubberized coating where now on this new unit it has it just on the bottom and the cover for the USB-C charging port has a rubberized cover.

The top of the mod has four screws holding the top plate in place with the gold plated spring loaded center pin in the center.

The face of the mod has the angled fire button near the top followed by the 1.08” display screen and the + and – button rocker switch below that.

Above the fire button, sitting at an angle is the USB-C charging port cover. The charging rate for this device is 5v/2A.

The display screen shows the following information from top to bottom

- Mode of operation

- Battery level indicator

- Set wattage

- Coil resistance

- Amperage under load

- Voltage under load

- Length of current puff/ Puff counter

The menu operation of the M100 mod is as follows.

- Press the fire button five times to turn the device on or off

- Press the fire button three times to highlight the mode of operation and use the + and – buttons to scroll through the modes which are Power, Bypass, VPC, TC-NI, TC-TI, TC-SS, and TC-TCR

- To lock resistance or reset puff counter, press the fire button three times to highlight the mode and then press the fire button to scroll to either setting

- Press the fire button and + or – button to increase or decrease the screen brightness

- To change the screen color, highlight the mode and then press the + and – buttons at the same time

- To view the software information, turn the device off and then press the + and – buttons

- To do a factory data reset, once the software information is viewable, press the fire, + and – buttons at the same time

The tank included with the M100 kit is the new Z Nano 2 tank which has a 3.5ml capacity. It utilizes top to bottom airflow. The coils used in the new Nano tank is the B series coils which you may recognize. I believe they were used in one of the Boost mods if I remember correctly. The coils included in the kit are the .2 ohm coil which is rated for 50-58 watts and the .6 ohm coil rated for 15-25 watts.

As usual I found myself running the .2 ohm coil lower than the recommended wattage and really enjoyed the flavor and vapor production at 45 watts. I’m not sure why but 45 watts seems to be my sweet spot with several devices. I liked the .6 coil at 20-21 watts which is well within the operating range. Both coils produced good flavor in my opinion.

You can obviously see that I received the black mod and tank. The drip tip on this tank does not have o rings on it. The o ring is inside the top cap. I know some people like this better but I’m honestly not sure why. It somewhat reminds me of the tip on the original Nano tank. The top cap has six flat spots on the outside edge that makes it a little easier to get a hold of to turn ¼ turn to remove. The fill ports are pretty large on this one and I was able to fill with no mess whatsoever.

The inner chamber has the familiar hand holding a lightning bolt with a circular pattern around it. The coils are simply pushed into place and then the bottom cap is screwed on just like the original Nano tank.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I really liked the original Aegis Mini so when I found out that a newer updated version was being released, I was very excited to have the opportunity to test it. For me, the M100 kit was not a disappointment.

I felt like the newer design without as much of the rubberized coating is an improvement. The rubber tends to collect dust and dirt from my experience. I also very much like the A-Lock slide control so I can disable the mod without having to look at it or trying to remember the right button combination. I also like that there is a spare bubble glass included with the kit instead of it shipping with the straight glass and having only one bubble glass included like the original.

The M100 has a good sized battery at 2500mah and with a maximum output voltage of 8.5 volts it does have a buck boost circuit. Also the mod is fairly small for a unit that can deliver up to 100 watts.

The Nano 2 tank seems to be a good tank with small improvements over the original Nano tank like the flat spots on the top cap to make it easier to handle when removing or installing the top cap which is the usual ¼ turn that we see on many Geekvape tanks. I think it’s good that Geekvape stuck with a pre-existing coil by using the B series coils.

During my time testing the M100 kit, I had no leaking, flooding, or dry hits. I really don’t have much to complain about on this one. I guess if I could change one thing then I would like the battery level indicated in a numerical percentage instead of the line of green blocks that Geekvape uses not only on this mod but on several of their mods.

I’d like to thank Geekvape and Allison for sending the Geekvape M100 kit for this review. I have thoroughly enjoyed using it and plan on keeping it in rotation. So, would I recommend it? If you would like a mod with buck boost, a good size internal battery, and some really neat features like the A-Lock slide control then yes I would. It really seems like a well-built device. ► Aegis Solo 2 S100 Kit; First impressions:
S100 otherwise called Aegis Solo 2, it maintains the same look as previous versions and the 2nd generation IP68-Tri-proof classification which according to Geekvape further improves the characteristics of resistance to shocks, dust and waterproofing through more robust construction materials such as eg; the mask or frame which now assumes a metallic consistency in place of the previous plastic one.

I also observe the introduction of the slider button for quick locking / unlocking of the Mod, this makes me slightly turn up my nose because we have given up on the classic locking / unlocking system of the "+" and "-" adjustment buttons which still allowed use in locked configuration. I would like the two lock / unlock systems to be both present in a Mod.

The maximum power guaranteed by the 18650 cell will certainly not be that optimistically indicated on the display (100W). The replaceable 18650 battery is still able to allow for a decent boost and good vaping autonomy (if you don't overdo the power). The cell is enclosed in the compartment through the usual screw cap with waterproof characteristics. In case of emergency the Mod can be recharged via a type C port located at the top. The USB interface is protected by a new waterproof rubber flip cover with simple and effective opening.

The Zeus 2021 Top AFC tank accompanies the Kit and I made his acquaintance on the occasion of the legend L200 test.
Zeus 2021 tank is compatible with all current and previous Geekvape Z series Coils.

Under a three-way comparison, in the image they are present; in the center the "small" M100 (of which I will publish the review soon) the Aegis Max 21700 on the right, and on the left the S100.



► Aegis Solo 2 S100 Kit; Feeling:
The use of this ergonomic form factor has long been exploited by Geekvape, but also copied by several competitors. However this look doesn't feel the weight of the years and always sets Aegis devices apart from the crowd.

Compared to other previous Aegis creations, the use of shockproof rubber has been reduced to a minimum and this I'm sorry a little, I liked the rubber a lot to the touch. Various colors are available for this kit.
"Silver" is the sober and elegant version I received for this test.



► Aegis Solo 2 S100 Mod; Front/back view:
The 1.08-inch vertical color display adopts enlarged fonts and is bright enough to display the main and most important data.
The convenience of the buttons appears even improved, with a larger sizing of the Fire key and the use of a horizontal rocker for the adjustment keys "+" and "-" below the screen.

The handle is redefined in the forms with a greater thickness of the leather decoration. There are two parallel seams arranged vertically and at the top there are 3 white nylon strings. All this gives a handcrafted aspect to the product.



► Aegis Solo 2 S100 Mod; Side view:
The family feeling with the other Aegis at least in the look is evident, there are the torx screws in sight, as well as the leather insert that also extends laterally. The classic grille retains its original appearance, but appears to be more robust. The cover shows "AEGIS" on one side and "GEEKVAPE" on the other.
* The mask can be removed by unscrewing the 4 screws, and will probably also be sold as a color replacement (sold separately).

The new A-Lock slide key is basically a physical lock button that prevents accidental activation when the mod is stowed in the pockets. This button is easily reachable by the fingers so just slide the slider down to completely disengage the device, thus preventing accidental ignitions that could burn the atomizer coil or cause potentially dangerous situations.

Personally and as I have already said previously, I find the A-Lock sliding button convenient, however I would have also kept the traditional regulation block system (watt) which still allowed you to vape, but it is no longer present on the latest Aegis.

So I decided to treat myself for my birthday and add something new to the collection. I ordered myself a Vaperz Cloud Hammer Of God XL (4 X 21700 Para-Series) mod.

I plan on using 4 X Samsung 30T Batteries with it. As for coils I was thinking of using some Fatty Alien 10 Wrap 3.5mm 0.35 (Dual) coils in a Valhalla V2 40mm RDA.

Does this seem like it would be a good combo? Or am I gonna burn off my tongue?

According to my calculations @ 8.4v and a resistance or 0.35 I’m looking at roughly 24A (wont be a problem for the Samsung 30T’s) and roughly 201 Watts.

I normally vape on a dual 18650 parallel box mod with 2 X VTC5A’S (50A) @ 0.09 = ~196 Watts / 47A. I don’t find it hot at all. Maybe a little warm.

I also watched Mike Vapes review and he used 0.25 coils and Bogan said he was at around 0.35.

Anyone who has experience with similar or series builds please let me know your thoughts.
