This is a more upscaled look to the Vinci and it also has a 4 LED battery meter that is color coded for battery strength. Without further ado lets check out the (ROYAL EDITION) Vinci Pod first prior to my review of it.

UNBOXING AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS


When I received the package I was surprised at the size because I knew Voopoo was sending 2 Pod Devices and this package was much larger than a package containing 2 Pod devices should be, Voopoo made a gift box of the Vinci Pod Royal Edition for reviewers.

I don't know if these will be available for purchase or not, I really love the bottle cap opener and my wife will use the fork and spoon for some fancy meals she makes during the holidays.







The Vinci Pod lays in a plastic shell that slides out of the shipping box, on the back of the shell your charge cord, user manual and 2nd Pod ( 1.2Ω ) all housed in a box that fits perfectly into the recess of the back of the shell, pre-installed in the device is the 0.8Ω Pod.

The Royal Edition has a rich look to it with a raised leaf pattern giving the device a textured feel with VINCI in the center in raised letters. ( VERY ELEGANT APPEARANCE )







On the back of the device Voopoo left a non textured look and feel that is smooth to the touch with VOOPOO printed in the center and Gene printed at the bottom. I received the Gold color version and really think it looks good.





As you have seen In the pictures of the front and back of the device there are no buttons shown because this is a button free Pod System that is a auto-draw only activated by inhaling.

On one side of the Vinci Royal Edition is the airflow adjustment control that will make users that like a tight MTL and semi loose MTL very happy. The other side is where the single airflow inlet hole is located in a good position at the top of the device.

I tried using the auto-draw with the airflow completely closed and it still worked giving me a very tight MTL vape, the flavor really popped up a level on this setting but it's a tad to tight for me this way.

Opening the airflow up a smidge from being completely closed was where my sweet spot was, flavor was still very good and the auto-draw worked flawlessly and smooth as well.

Going in the opposite direction, fully open the auto-draw worked alright but a lot of suction of the draw is needed to keep it going all the way through the vape, for me it would stop just before the end of my vape . Closing down the airflow a tiny margin corrected that issue, flavor dropped a bit with more introduction of air but that's to be expected.







Both of the Pods connect to the device by clicking into place, no magnets are used. I wanted to show the 3 airflow feed holes of the pod that connect to the airflow supply tube on the Vinci Royal Edition device.

The single cut out slot in the middle between the 2 outer Gold contacts on the Pod channel's the airflow up and through to the coil inside the pod very well .

Voopoo provides 2 Pods in this kit that work well and produce good flavor and if using the 1.2Ω Pod your battery life will be much better, not having a puff counter or display screen I can't give you a comparison between them in the amount of vapes.

I found the 0.8Ω coil was more to my liking giving it a slight edge over the 1.2Ω Pod, there is not really a difference in flavor because both are good in that department but the very small increase of warmth that the 0.8Ω Pod provided was more for me. Having a 2ml capacity is nice and is pretty standard in Pod based systems but having a very easy to use top fill method by lifting up a rubber plug to fill is great , it fills quickly as well.









The Vinci Royal Edition uses a type-c charge port located on the very bottom of the device, and speaking about the bottom of the device I must tell you that the Vinci cannot stand upright because the corners are all rounded giving you a comfortable feeling in the hand, you can however stand the device on it's side though.

On the front leafed side there are 4 tiny but very bright LED lights that you can easily miss if not looking for them. These lights illuminate when you vape and serve as a battery meter.

The Vinci Royal Edition uses a 3 color meter of the 4 LED lights for battery strength of it's 800mAh battery. When charging the 4 battery lights will change color to correspond with the battery strength as it increases in strength the lights change to battery percentage.

USING THE VINCI POD ROYAL EDITION


Using the Vinci Pod Royal Edition in the settings that I mentioned I get a very nice not too tight not too loose vape that just works and taste great and the auto-draw makes it a effortless vape.

I haven't even mentioned it's size yet, it's very compact for having a 800mAh internal battery and it just disappears in a hand easily.





I think Voopoo did a nice job on the upscaled Vinci Pod Called the Vinci Pod Royal Edition and the new metal really makes the device feel strong and sturdy with no cheap feeling.

Unboxing and first impressions:

As Geekvape has us accustomed all the items of the box come neatly presented.
Mod in the top then pulling off the top ''tray'' you have a box with all the peripherals and the atomizer.

For those who know me i love me big,rugged and heavy mods and in that department the Aegis Legend 2 does not disappoint.

Stealthy looking and with a ''tactical'' feel to it this mod is perfect for those that like heavy and rugged like mods.

But when it comes to vaping it's not all about having a heavy mod,being heavy without quality and a good finish does not cut it these days.
Thankfully Geekvape has yet to disappoint,this is a well designed mod that feels like it's ready to take on the world and not get a scratch,that is how it feels when you hold it in your hand.

Ok so let's get this party started.

I recently reviewed the Geekvape S100 Kit Geekvape S100 Kit - Review by Javichu (Sourcemore) and i have been using the GEEKVAPE Z 2021 TANK on a daily basis so this review was pretty easy considering i had already used the tank and mod wise this is just basically a bigger version of the S100.

Loaded up the Legend 2 with two fresh batteries and primed the coil (Z0.2 ohm),inserted it in the tank,filled it up and let it soak up the sweet nectar of the gods for a good 15 minutes.

Tried all 4 different coils for this model of atomizer and the Z0.2 ohm are the ones i enjoy the most.
The 0.2ohm Mesh Z2 Coil is rated at 70-80W but since i am not into heavy or warm vapes i usually run it at a 50 watts or sometimes at 60 watts (occasionally thou),that is right there my sweet spot.

Mod itself does fit perfectly in my hand,the Geekvape S100 did feel a tad small and ''odd'' but the Legend 2 just feels right.

This mod also has the same Locking switch as the Geekvape S100 so you know you can carry it around and not having to worry about burning your coil.

The battery compartment was one of the things i was worried about,gotta say i am not a fan of this type of door for the battery.
Personally i prefer the twisting cap type like we have in the Geekvape S100,had to run a proper test and see if it would give me any problems.

Used two mouse pads one on top of another and tapped the mod against it,also slid it across and not a hitch,battery door wouldn't open.

Battery door has a snug fit and i think there is no chance you would get it to open by mistake, nope...not going to happen.
The batteries fit nicely in their slots and if you shake the mod you won't feel or hear any rattle at all.
Only problem i can see with the battery door is that when it comes the time to change the batteries you better do it while sitting down and doing it on top of a desk or table.
If the mod were to drop with the battery door open it's just a matter of luck,drops the wrong way the door will most probably be ruined with the hit.

Aesthetic wise this is one good looking mod...but and this is a personal issue which maybe only bothers me but the atomizer on top just ''feels'' out of place or maybe too big for the mod.
When it comes to looks i think a smaller chubbier RTA atomizer or even an RDA would look fantastic with this mod.

I took out my old OFRF Gear RTA and placed it on top and yep it looked beautiful even thou the colors didn't match.

This really wasn't an issue with the Geekvape S100 since it's a single battery and the ''long'' profile does seem to work,in this case the Legend 2 is bigger and wider and i don't know but the atomizer just looks too big.

Again this is just a personal observation,you folks might feel differently about it.

Pros:

-Big and bright screen
-Well built mod
-Solid battery door with a snug fit
-IP68 rated (rugged and water-resistant)
-Easy menu to navigate

Cons:

-Coil quality control? not good
-Tank is ok but there are better brands out there with better coils.
-Other atomizers past 24mm and you will get some overhang.

Would i recommend this device:

Hmm,well to be honest i have to say that it's 50/50.
Yes the mod is a must have if you like these type of mods,heavy and rugged and can take a beating.
Tank wise well it does it's job but it's far from the best subohm tank you can buy in the current market.

If you like the looks,design and features of this mod i would recommend just to get the mod and skip the tank,with 2 batteries (18650) you got plenty of juice to use some of them sub ohm coils that need plenty of power.

On a personal not i have to add that even thou when it comes to mods and tanks i have nothing but respect for Geekvape when it comes to quality control i am severely disappointed.
I have bought all 4 types of coils (5 coil packs) for the GEEKVAPE Z 2021 TANK and except for the 0.2ohm Mesh Z2 Coil the other 3 have been plagued with faulty coils.
From a pack of 5 coils i got at least one of them that was faulty and had to go to the trash which is inaceptable,Geekvape has to pick up the slack when it comes to quality control for their coils.

Unboxing and first impressions:

As Geekvape has us accustomed all the items of the box come neatly presented.
Mod in the top then pulling off the top ''tray'' you have a box with all the peripherals and the atomizer.

For those who know me i love me big,rugged and heavy mods and in that department the Aegis Legend 2 does not disappoint.

Stealthy looking and with a ''tactical'' feel to it this mod is perfect for those that like heavy and rugged like mods.

But when it comes to vaping it's not all about having a heavy mod,being heavy without quality and a good finish does not cut it these days.
Thankfully Geekvape has yet to disappoint,this is a well designed mod that feels like it's ready to take on the world and not get a scratch,that is how it feels when you hold it in your hand.

Ok so let's get this party started.

I recently reviewed the Geekvape S100 Kit Geekvape S100 Kit - Review by Javichu and i have been using the GEEKVAPE Z 2021 TANK on a daily basis so this review was pretty easy considering i had already used the tank and mod wise this is just basically a bigger version of the S100.

Loaded up the Legend 2 with two fresh batteries and primed the coil (Z0.2 ohm),inserted it in the tank,filled it up and let it soak up the sweet nectar of the gods for a good 15 minutes.

Tried all 4 different coils for this model of atomizer and the Z0.2 ohm are the ones i enjoy the most.
The 0.2ohm Mesh Z2 Coil is rated at 70-80W but since i am not into heavy or warm vapes i usually run it at a 50 watts or sometimes at 60 watts (occasionally thou),that is right there my sweet spot.

Mod itself does fit perfectly in my hand,the Geekvape S100 did feel a tad small and ''odd'' but the Legend 2 just feels right.

This mod also has the same Locking switch as the Geekvape S100 so you know you can carry it around and not having to worry about burning your coil.

The battery compartment was one of the things i was worried about,gotta say i am not a fan of this type of door for the battery.
Personally i prefer the twisting cap type like we have in the Geekvape S100,had to run a proper test and see if it would give me any problems.

Used two mouse pads one on top of another and tapped the mod against it,also slid it across and not a hitch,battery door wouldn't open.

Battery door has a snug fit and i think there is no chance you would get it to open by mistake, nope...not going to happen.
The batteries fit nicely in their slots and if you shake the mod you won't feel or hear any rattle at all.
Only problem i can see with the battery door is that when it comes the time to change the batteries you better do it while sitting down and doing it on top of a desk or table.
If the mod were to drop with the battery door open it's just a matter of luck,drops the wrong way the door will most probably be ruined with the hit.

Aesthetic wise this is one good looking mod...but and this is a personal issue which maybe only bothers me but the atomizer on top just ''feels'' out of place or maybe too big for the mod.
When it comes to looks i think a smaller chubbier RTA atomizer or even an RDA would look fantastic with this mod.

I took out my old OFRF Gear RTA and placed it on top and yep it looked beautiful even thou the colors didn't match.

This really wasn't an issue with the Geekvape S100 since it's a single battery and the ''long'' profile does seem to work,in this case the Legend 2 is bigger and wider and i don't know but the atomizer just looks too big.

Again this is just a personal observation,you folks might feel differently about it.

Pros:

-Big and bright screen
-Well built mod
-Solid battery door with a snug fit
-IP68 rated (rugged and water-resistant)
-Easy menu to navigate

Cons:

-Coil quality control? not good
-Tank is ok but there are better brands out there with better coils.
-Other atomizers past 24mm and you will get some overhang.

Would i recommend this device:

Hmm,well to be honest i have to say that it's 50/50.
Yes the mod is a must have if you like these type of mods,heavy and rugged and can take a beating.

I am a newbie on here looking for support. I quit smoking on Jan 1st 2000! I Never touched another cig. Of course, vaping was not around to help us back then. Several years ago my daughter was quitting smoking and she was using disposal vape cigs to aid her in that. I asked her to let me try a puff and I liked it. Like many of you, I am so tired of having my right to enjoy vaping infringed upon by hysteria and laws passed because some parents cannot parent. I was ordering my favorite juice, V2 E RED from the V2 company. They went out of business due to the tariffs that were increasing their cost so much. So I bought as much as I could. Found a substitute at Whitecloud which is not shipping anymore. So I am chasing after V2 E RED or the best substitute. I am have even ordered from London because they could still deliver. My last order did not go through as my money or quids were returned. So HELP if anybody out there knows

Sourcemore sent me the Vapefly Brunhilde SBS 100W mod for the purpose of this review.



In the spirit of transparency, I want to state that the first Brunhilde I was sent malfunctioned. I think I did alright not letting that influence my thoughts on the mod in general, because even a reputable company like Vapefly can have a dud slip past QC.



What happened? Not exactly an auto-fire, but after I fired it and let off the button, it kept firing. I checked the button and it was not stuck in, so it must have been some sort of electrical fault. That said, I’ve paid extra close attention to the second mod I received, and spent extra time with it just to be sure, and it’s working just fine. I also know several other people who own this mod and I’ve not heard any of them have an issue with theirs. So it seems like a freak thing, but I wanted you to know. It’s only fair.

The Brunhilde can accommodate and 18650, 20700, or 21700 battery and comes with an adapter.




It has W/V, bypass, and TC modes, and just click the fire button 3 times to change, then use the + and – to select wire type in TC mode. Press the + and – to lock the adjustments, and it will still fire.



What I like, although it feels heavy, it also feels solid and the rounded shape is easy to hold and fire. I have paired it with the Brunhilde RDTA and the Ephro Kelpie, both 25mm, and they fit perfectly, although the Kelpie doesn’t stick up so much higher than the battery lid. I don’t mind the mixed metals so much, and the sand blasted look of the aluminum body hides fingerprints.



I’m not a huge fan of the tiny LED screen, but it’s bright and clear and easy to read. I’d prefer it to not be on the bottom even if it would take away from the clean look of the mod. And while on that subject, I could do without the wings and helmet. Sorry, I know some people like that.



The finish looks good, but the battery cap sounds a little gravely. It goes on fine, but it’s noisy, and I would’ve expected it to be better, or at least break in a bit as many times as I’ve taken it off and put it back on.



Overall, I’m enjoying it. TC performs pretty well, considering the very basic menu, at least in SS – that’s all I use, so I can’t comment on other wire types. I’m one of those weirdos who insists that a good mod will give better performance to the atty, and I find I’m getting a nice vape with this one. I won’t say A+, but a solid B.



I’ll be candid here and say that I was not going to buy this mod. I have loads of mods, and seen loads more, that triggered my shinyitis harder than this one did. But it’s really a lot nicer than I thought, and I’m glad I didn’t miss out on it.
