Details:
For this test I received the Matte Gray color version for the GTX GO 80 and Rainbow for the GTX GO 40.
Both devices have the same design and the same color options. The anodized aluminum alloy makes them wear resistant and aesthetically pleasing.
The main differences between the two versions are; the size, battery capacity, output power, type and capacity of the pod and the different resistance range of the usable GTX coils.



Super-easy single button operation:
The square-shaped Fire button made of plastic material with a rough texture is slightly protruding and incorporates the notification LED, on the bottom of the mod we find the writing "Vaporesso" arranged vertically.
On the opposite side we find the 2A USB-C type charging port (1A for the GTX 40 GO), in the lower part there is the Vaporesso logo.



AFC:
The upper part of the Mod with the "chalice" profile houses the Pod. To power the Coil, two opposing slots have been made on the body / battery. To vary the air flow just rotate the Pod. The slots on the GTX GO 80 measure 12x2mm those of the GTX GO 40 measure 10x2mm.



GTX GO above and below:
The Pod compartment contains the two gold-plated electrical contact pins in the center, the metal ring for the magnetic attraction of the cartridge is not suspended as on 99% of pod / circular systems but is an integral part of the "floor" this fact favors for cleaning operation if needed.

On the bottom of GTX GO there is a small safety vent hole for the integrated battery, the battery characteristics, logos and legal marks are also shown on the bottom.

I smoked analogs for nearly 18 years when I started vaping back in 2012. It took me a few tries to really prefer it over smoking but in December 2016 I'd stopped analogs completely and by 2018 I was on zero nic. I vaped all through my pregnancy (the zero nic) and even a little bit afterwards (early 2020 before pandemic hit) but then one day I just noticed I didn't carry it around with me everywhere any more. My husband was vaping 6mg while I was pregnant but switched to 0 thereafter as well and we have a crazy amount of liquid (I'd stocked up because I was worried about flavors disappearing). Hello again. Yes I know I just posted another review a few days ago. This time I will be providing what I believe to be a fair and honest review on the Voopoo Vinci Pod that was sent to me by Voopoo for the purpose of this review. My first thought before trying it was “Oh boy, yet another pod”. Once I had opened the package, I thought that this is a rather small pod but liked the appearance of it. The one I received for review is the carbon fiber model. I thought the Vinci had a nice weight and feel to it. I immediately noticed that there was no fire button on it. The Vinci Pod is auto draw only. I don’t necessarily have a problem with it being auto draw but from past experience with other pods, often times the airflow isn’t where you would like it. Well, Voopoo thought of that. On one side of the device is a single small airflow hole for tight MTL vaping and on the other side is a sliding airflow control that will allow you to do an RDL vape on it when it’s fully open or you can put it somewhere in the middle to meet your preference. Kudos to Voopoo for including this airflow control. I will however say that the slider is very tight to move and a little hard at first to get it dialed in where you want it but once it’s set then it won’t get moved accidentally.

The 800mah battery portion of the device is made of zinc alloy which gives it a nice weight. The body has a three layer coating that not only looks nice but is also fingerprint resistant and helps to prevent color fading.

There is only carbon fiber on one side which I’m going to call the front. It has the Vinci name on it and down below is the word Gene in smaller print. When taking a puff, the Gene word will light up indicating battery level. Green is highest followed by blue and then red as the battery level lowers. Once it hits red then it’s time to charge again. The Gene will also light up when charging. In the promotion pictures, Voopoo claims it’s an all-day device even though it’s only 800mah. I really think that is going to depend on the person using it and how much they vape a day. For a person like myself that normally only goes through 3-4 ml a day then it may last all day but for someone that is a heavy user it may not. On what I’ll call the back side is simply the Voopoo name on the black textured paint. On the bottom is the USB-C charging port.

When you first open the unit there is a clear safety seal over the bottom of the .8 ohm pod that must be removed to allow it to make connection with the battery contacts. The pod is disposable and the coil cannot be replaced. Yes I said pod and not pods. For some reason unknown to me, Voopoo has chosen to package the Vinci Pod with only one pod. I personally think that’s a bad idea. What if the included pod is defective or the user is new and tries vaping before the coil is saturated and burns it? Then the device is useless until the person can buy another coil. Almost every pod device that I’ve purchased or reviewed has included two pods or coils. I understand they are trying to make the starter kit inexpensive but I think it’s a bad idea and that they could charge a couple extra dollars for the kit without many complaints.

The pod for the Vinci is clear which tells me that Voopoo has been listening to their customers and reviewers. I greatly appreciate that I can easily see the liquid level in the pod. The pod has a .8 coil built into it which I think is a good medium resistance for a device of this capacity and will hold 2ml of liquid. The pod is a side fill and I was able to fill with little to no mess. I would however prefer a top fill like some other pods that I use. The pod snaps into the battery and is not easily removed. It takes me a fair amount of effort to pull the pod out to refill which I think is good since you don’t have to worry about it coming out in a pocket or purse by accident.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

When comparing the Vinci Pod to other pod devices that I either use or have tested for reviews, I would have to say that it has very good flavor and vapor production. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor I got from such a small device and the amount of vapor is satisfactory.

I like the feel and weight of the Vinci. The zinc alloy gives it a feeling of quality along with the three layer coating on the face of the device. I very much like that it has the airflow control on the side that should fit a fairly wide group of vaper’s preference.

As far as the battery lasting 24hrs? I’m not so sure of that especially if someone is a heavy user. I do wish and think it should have come with a second pod but for what it is I think the Vinci Pod is a very good device and from what I’ve seen, the pods aren’t very expensive. If you’re looking for a simple auto draw pod device with pretty darn good flavor then I’d recommend the Vinci Pod.

Hi, despite all the info on the internet these days, I ve been unable to find an answer to what is the life use of a wire on a rta coil (not the cotton or liquids) before it gets exhausted and become a bad element to health, maybe to the point of releasing metal particles that could go into the lungs... I know this is highly relative and depends on what kind of wire, liquids and vaping frecuency, but if I give you a straight case, maybe I ll make a good relation between other materials and their durability. It happened that during 2020, with the pandemic on full first impact, importations were very slow and in some cases, closed for long periods of time, I was trying to get some imported wires but I didn't have enough luck to find those I needed, just very thin wire for mtl equipment, which I didn't have. All was sold out from vaping websites... I ve managed to get a Zeus X rta and with it, the included premade coils (I think these are Nichrome)... Thing is, I used the same (and only) metal coil for almost 6 months, obviously replacing the cotton when needed (I had all the other materials, bags of cotton Bacon, tools, fresh liquids, etc), the liquid I ve been using is Don Juan sweet tobbaco and reserve, from King Crest. In those six moths I didn't vape all days or weeks, since finding or importing liquids were also a problem, so confinement and the lack of products, push me to smoke again, sadly, but I didn't give up and I start to build again the coil meanwhile the purchases arrive from other countries. The metal coil doesn't seems to be exhaust in plain view, it gets datk or black, as normally should be after several days of use and when tasting a bit burnt, but once I clean up with a brush, water and some short dry burning when building again, it gets back its grey metal color, not the same shine as a new one, but close. My vaping frequency was sometimes in chain, due to anxiety, but not all day or days and I was careful to rebuilt often. Mods are one Aegis X and one Smok P3, wattage I use is between 40 and 60 because even if the coils can be auto detected and suggestion is 75w, this is always overrated and burning taste triggers in 3 days. Only thing I did notice was sort of a metal taste for a period of time, that after went away and never got back. If someone wants to drop an answer, be welcome please, thank you all...

I'm getting a lot of errors trying to get into threads. My Inbox and all of my conversations are gone. I've been gone for a few weeks but jeez.

Has anyone heard about this? YouTube is deleting vape-related channels. I don't know if it was just DashVapes but he had some funny videos, really going to miss them.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what the strikes are for. I don't think it's for promoting links directly to vapor products because vapers know that is a no-no on youtube. Does anyone know anything more about this situation?
