Hello again and welcome back for today's review of the Meteor Mod with a 510 and it's optional fast or super charging base depending on which wall socket charger that you use. The Meteor itself is a device that has a IP68 rating making it shockproof, dustproof, and waterproof. We have all heard of some other devices that carry the rating of IP67 but the rating of IP68 goes a bit more meaning it can be submerged to a depth of 1.5 m for up to one hour, and after holding and handling the Meteor I can say that it feels very solidly built. The Meteor uses a 510 connection that is offset away from the fire button and can accept a atomizer of 25-26mm without any overhang. This is a full featured device that has temperature control as well as variable power curves ( VPC ) , TCR, and bypass mode. The Meteor also houses a built in 2000 mAH battery that uses very good battery management. Before going any further let's have a look at what the VapX Meteor with charging base have to offer.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS
I was sent both the Meteor as well as the charging base and packaging was nice with a slide out inner box that held the Meteor in a foam cutout with the charge cable laying next to it in a oblong box, with this being a sample there was no user manual included but the full retail version will have it included.
I must say that the appearance is very attractive and it's button placements are in the right location also. Picking it up I noticed it has some weight and feels solid and hand fit was very good with texture at both sides of the device. Below the fire button is a rubberized texture with five designs that decrease in size moving down . The rubberized texture also travels halfway around the Meteor and stops at the beginning of the frame with VapX stamped in the middle that gives off a rainbow of color when light hits it. The Meteor has the charge port in a good spot at the bottom being located on the side with the fire button that also has a design on it. The aesthetics of the Meteor just flow so well. At the very top of both the front and back are 3 slots for venting.
On the other side of the device in the middle of the spine is a nice sized piece of soft leather with red stitching surrounding the border adding to the detail, Meteor is lightly embossed in the center of the leather spine with another symbol in front of METEOR. I was sent the gunmetal color version and really like the matt finish.
I am glad that VapX sent the optional charging base also but I was not able to use it in super charging mode because my wall charger adapter was only rated at a 25 watt output but I was able to increase the charging rate to fast charging and it worked very well charging the Meteor to a 100% reading in 35 minutes. On the bottom of the device are where the charging contacts are located and there are 5 contacts in all that magnetically connect to the charge base and hold very well.
The charging base is feather light and has 3 venting slots cut into all four corners of the base with a arrow in the front where the face of the mod should be positioned.
The rear of the base is where the Type-C port is located.
On the bottom of the base are 4 rubber stoppers that keep the base in place and protect the finish of whatever it is sitting on, all the specs are also located on the bottom of the base.
When joined together they make a attractive pair, I wish the cord was longer in length though being only 8 inches long.
The displays size is appropriate for the device and has it's information laid out well and is spaced without looking jammed together, the colors are bright and very vivid. The displays information is as follows from top to bottom and left to right. If using any of the temperature modes, temperature will be in the wattage spot and watts will be in the volts block, with VPC you have 5 adjustments in your variable power curve, and in bypass mode watts and volts switch locations.

* While still flashing each press of the fire button will move you down the display screen for further adjustments if you wish including clearing the puff counter
* Pressing the fire button and up button simultaneously brightens the display screen
* Pressing the fire and down button simultaneously darkens the display screen
* Pressing the up and down buttons simultaneously locks wattage adjustments
As you have seen in a photo above I ran the Meteor pretty high in testing and battery life suffered but I knew it would, I wanted to see how many tanks of juice I would get before the device stopped firing and I was able to use 8 mls of juice doing 4 sec vapes before the device stopped. This is acceptable and what I expected to happen but 35 minutes later it was fully charged using the charging base and ready to go again.
I really like that it charges so fast and with a 45 watt wall adapter it only takes 10 minutes to charge, so using it with low builds such as I did would be fine if you were at home and using the charging base.
Where I really think the Meteor shines is as a MTL device for battery life. I put a MTL Tank on it with a build of 0.77Ω and ran it at 18 watts and was able to get a full day of use before the battery was depleted and stopped.
Using it in both applications of a low build (0.16Ω ) and a MTL build of ( 0.77Ω ) the Meteor read the resistances correctly with no power spikes or lags and firered instantly with no ramp up. I was only sent one device for testing so the only IP68 test I performed on it was the water test, leaving it submerged in a large bowl of water for about 20 minutes and it passed. With only one given for testing there was no way I would chance damaging the finish on this beauty because I'm sure that scuffs would occur.
The Tank I used in the picture above is a 24 mm and I had extra room and would think a 26 mm Tank would work fine with no overhang. For MTL the Tank that I used was 22 mm and looked great without looking small and out of place. Below pictures are with the 22 mm Tank.
FINAL IMPRESSIONS
I must hand it to VapX for creating the Meteor, I have tested 1 other device from them and it was also a great device with a different form, for a fairly new company VapX has done a lot of research on their devices and so far keep getting better with each release.
I really think the build quality stands out as does the attractive appearance of the Meteor and hope that there will be another edition with a replaceable 18650 or 21700 battery. I absolutely love the menu system as well as the fact it's easy and not complicated.
My only con for the Meteor isn't really a con but I mention it because some people hate to see a gap between the mod and atomizer and you will have a tiny gap because the Meteor has a raised 510 plate. The reason for it is to protect the top of the device from scratches from the bottom of your atomizer with repeated screwing on and off or when changing atomizers.
In closing I have to say that I will keep the Meteor in my personal rotation of devices because of all the reasons I mentioned in the review plus having the charging base really makes the Meteor a game changer when it comes to charging a device with a built in battery.
I would very much like to thank Clay and VapX for providing the Meteor and it's charging base for the purpose of this review. I highly recommend the Meteor and charging base because they are both winners.

Feelin Pod first impressions
I received the Blue version but other colors are available in my opinion sober and very beautiful.
The construction is in plastic but the device does not seem cheap, it has a rectangular shape with rounded edges, the rubberized coating is also extended to the drip-tip and is pleasantly soft and smooth to the touch, the cartridge has a large transparent area for a good visualization of the liquid. Feelin Pod Kit weighs just 44 grams and literally disappears in the hand! You can slip it into any pocket and easily forget you're carrying it.
On the front there is a recess that houses the round and concave Fire button in the center, underneath there are the 3 LED lights arranged vertically, towards the bottom there is the word "nevoks" in relief. On the back, the white “Feelin” writing on a blue background stands out.
On the top side there are 3 small vents, underneath the USB Type C port in a vertical position with the specifications printed on the charging speed.
The opposite side is completely smooth, there is only a fake air intake at the top.
The compartment / pod houses 4 magnets raised above the bottom, also there are two floating pins for the electrical contact and the small channel for the automatic puff.
On the bottom there is the capacity of the internal battery (1.000mAh) also present; a vent hole for the integrated battery, the logo, the brand and the indication on the area of origin.
