Is Macchiato a porcupine? That's new and different!
Love the kitties -- since finally being able to have one myself, I've discovered a love for all things feline -- that Wooter is adorable!!! Looks like mischief on 4 legs!

Hey Mommabird- I'll trade you both my 'Toos for your canary! There is a canary at my former Vet Tech school. When I was going there I always thought it was a boy but I recently made a trip back there and learned that he was a she! I wanted to see if she would step up for me but I was not being escorted and did not want to risk breaking any rules. Besides, if I remember correctly she was very cage territorial and would peck at students as they were cleaning her cage.
Andria- I'm sorry for the loss of your furry friend. It's a shame we can't make them live forever That was very thoughtful of your ex to let you know he had passed. What the heck is it with gingers? Seems like every ginger tabby (known as "red" for breeding specifics) I've met is the biggest sweet heart!
My dearly departed Roofus was a ginger too. He lived to almost 18 years old. He got hyper thyroid and eventually had to be put to sleep because he was just suffering way too much at the very end. He was someone special. Loved getting his tummy rubbed, which is odd for a cat. Maybe it's because he was handled so much as a kitten. We had his mom, and she had her litter in our laundry room when I was in Jr. High. I could not keep my hands off those kittens! Roo also had a raspy voice and the loudest most rumbliest purr I have ever heard! <3
That is so cute about the girl talk. We can get Tai to have conversations with us sometimes. We will say "Tai Tai! Tell us a story!" and he will sometimes meow. Then if we ask him to "tell us more" sometimes he does!
