No big deal Steve this a pretty damn long thread. So far with the kanthal build at 24W the power consumption seems fine. The tank is almost gone and I'm still at 4V

Mooch probably nailed it, high watts and the Orbtonic battery may have lead my down the wrong path. Hell I'll keep playing with it. I have two years

Understand the fine warranty.
For me, I just don't want to have a device that needs to cross the ocean if/when it fails.
Luckily, it's canceled.

i love the dani box been using it for about a week now, reminds of a Leica camera in feel.
one thing i have noticed though is the contact that sits in the charging dock plug hole on the bottom is live and could present a potential shorting hazard.
I was curious as to whether it was a switched contact or fixed so touched it with a knife blade , this stuck suggesting a decent current flow. not done any further tests as yet.
But it could present a risk in some rare circumstance such a a piece of metal swarf , wire fragment getting in there and welding it self in a short circuit.
I have put a piece of tape over mine.

Interesting is your camera comparison. It is exactly my first impression, especially the battery compartment. I measured the voltage on the charging contact and it is battery voltage. Good observation. Now we'll have to see how the charging dock is implemented. I really do like this little device.

Dicodes No. 6 shipped Monday and here today, not bad at all (coming from Creme de Vape in UK to California).

Firstly, this is incredibly small for a 26650 mod, I've had a few high end 26650 mods and only one was smaller than this (Jemit Maximus) and not by much (I'll do comparison shots when I get it back from a spa treatment lol)

I love the feel of it in my hand, and he extrude of the black coating or paint or whatever it is...loving it.

The screen on this is SOOO nice, bright and big, and just a pleasure to have to look at.

I am totally in love, and for out of the house I think my 2380T has just been bumped off as my out and about mod...this is just a spectacular mod, especially for the price (It was $213.99 shipped)...I don't see another mod that can touch this in the price range (or the Dani Box, whichever your preference)...now for some pics

Not to mention, you don't need to download an English manual this time around!!!

Indeed. But, sadly, my post office doesn't have the transporter, it'll take a week or so to cross the oceans, fighting off the sea monsters and pirates. And what if either country changes what it likes to allow through customs? I'll stick to devices that don't need a passport when they are homesick.

I wasn't really happy with the menu system, then I saw two reports of badly behaving devices. Out of the small number of them in this thread, I thought that wasn't the best rate ever.

I could be missing the best thing since sliced bread, but, I'll take the chance.

Cool. They are on the longer side so if they fit, they all will! My Boxer 75w is much happier with the shorter efest greens but seems like the dicodes is much more forgiving!

Plenty of room for the Purple Efests, no worries on using them

The Air is very very nice, I'm really enjoying it. Ordered some Thunderhead Clapton to spice things up a bit in my RTAs, WOOWOO

Yeah, hat giant drip tip was a bit much for me haha, it's Vaponaute I'd MUCH more my speed, and it looks very nice atop the Air too, so Win-Win

Yes mate, very nice indeed! I'm liking the No6 more everyday, I love the menu now too, I can rinse through it very quickly.

Absolute top marks to Dicodes, this is everything I hoped the Radius would be when Provape announced a box mod!

So here is the pipeline version (I also picked up a Dicodes Tiny to pair with tye kayfun V3...dirt cheap!)

It is beautiful! Nice feel, a tad larger than the boxer 26650 but soooo much more solid!
..and its black...
