Thanks, KTMR. I'm not yet informed enough to use that calculator. First, I guess I need to know if the '32' in '32 gauge' is metric.
AWG (American Wire Gauge) or gauge is a standard of measurement. The calculator has options for gauge size or metric measurements.

Thanks. I realized I didn't have all the scripting enabled on that page. Now I see you filled it in for me, I think.

Anyway, I'm wondering if 32 guage is thin enough for a protank 2.5 coil, or if I need to go even thinner. Not much room in there.

The 'Burgh, PA.
Surprised nobody has mentioned the 2 new eGo AIO's...the D16 and the D22...(maybe because they're "MINI-Little-Itty-Bitty-mods")...

Both are like the original AIO...same ridiculously low price, same BF 0.6Ω SS heads that give a GREAT MTL vape, same lightweight "environmental plastic", same 2ml capacity (compensated for by 5 second easy Top-Filling) and same 1500 mAh battery.

The D16 is tall & thin and the D22 is short and stout.

Hi, Nic! Is there a reason you insist on a 2.5Ω coil for your ProTanks? I think you're making your life unnecessarily difficult for yourself.

Anyway, when I started rebuilding my PTs, years ago, I found that ~1.8Ω is ideal for those little coil heads. I started with 4/5 (or 5/6) wraps of 32g Kanthal around a 1/16th drill bit and that worked fine, but I hated the 32g wire--too flimsy. I quickly switched to contact micro coils and 30 and 29g Kanthal and I found my PT bliss--good balance of heat up time and vapor production. You can use a 1/16" or 5/64" drill bit (or a 1.7mm drill bit) for best fit.

Hello Itty Bitty people!

I feel like getting just one more itty bitty mod.

Coolfire 4 18650 or VF Lite?

I like the little fat guy! Since my "regular" AIO hit the pavement and is now gone, I might have to find Stubby. The tall and thin one would give me a complex!

Eleaf Pico ;)

Got one. All black. Too itty bitty for my taste. I wish it were a bit taller.

I have an all black and ss on the way from FT.

If that's too small, how about a Silo?
I have 3. 2 DNA75 and 1 DNA200 that I built so they were a bit cheaper :D

Interesting, but probably more than I need--I'm not a very sophisticated vaper.

I don't own a Pico. It looks too short/small/stubby for me too. I've been interested in the iStick 60w for awhile. It looks "just right" to me. I suppose you already have one.
Don't know who, exactly, you were talking to, but I do have an iStick Pico and an iStick 60. I like the 60 well enough, but I keep finding myself using the Pico. Right now, I've got the newly arrived and built Serpent Mini on it, and it's very nice. I guess it must be the Stainless Steel support...

I really like the looks of the Pico. There's just something about it that makes me go hmmm.

What a bizzy lil itty bitty thread. I haz proud.

Now you're just taunting me!!! [emoji35][emoji51][emoji14]

I swear, I'm putting you on my "to stalk" list.

You will be in GOOD company, sweetie!

I love my Picos. I have no problems firing them. I have silicon sleeves (with a hole for battery vent area) and for me the raised part over the fire button helps me to find it without looking. There is actually a little vertical ridge in the middle of the fire button cover that is easy to find. They just fit my hand perfectly and feel good. I agree that the battery cover feels kinda cheep , but I am very careful with my mods and tanks so I don't anticipate problems.

Got a Pico in from the sea turtle a week or so back. The brushed stainless, no sleeve, no paint to scratch off ;)

While not a whole lot smaller than my Cloupor Minis, it's enough that I do have to make a mental adjustment while using it. And, while my hands are by no means large, it's almost too small to be comfortable for me.

I'm finding that firing is easiest if the screen is away and I wrap my index finger across the fire button, pressing not with the finger tip but by squeezing so the first joint of the finger presses against the button. It does "match" the curve, and seems a bit less awkward.

Might I assuuuuuuuuume that the lil Pico is a WHOLE LOT lighter than the adorable lil Cloupor Mini, Mr. Ock?

For me it depends on the mod's geometry. Some are thumb, some index, some, like my Pressa75 and Rolo RX75, just squeeze ;)

Hmmm, I must be weird. With the pico I can use it either way. If the button is facing me I tend to press it with the space between my thumb and index finger, and if it is facing away it is with the the space between my two knuckles of my index finger. I guess after the Presa 75W and the rolo I have become a grabber.

Welp, I'm a grabber, too. (am I invited to the party, pufz?)

And let me tell you, the Heatvape Defender (little one.... the 36 or 25) does NOT wish to be grabbed. With all my squeezie mods, I was just sort of used to it. Then, I erred.

I somehow sqoze the Defender and took a hit - - - YOUCH! hot. Oh my. It was 19.5 watts!!!!!!

Do not squeezie the Defender.

I don't have a VF Lite or Unlite, but I do have the CF4 '650, and Katya, I love it! It's reminiscent of the originally designed CF4, minus the lanyard hook. GREAT hand feel, heavy/sturdy/well-built (whatevs) and just delightful.

I just purchased the aio by Joytech. Ugh. I must have done something wrong. It gurgles and spits and it burned my lip. For those of you who have one any ideas for a fix? It worked fine for 1 day then it erupted like a volcano. You know I was quite happy with buying my eliquid and box of coils now I diy, and now I have to make coils. Ugh. I just want to go back to the way it was......anyway this new minnie is a pita. Suggestions please. I didnt over fill it if that helps.
