Thanx @DavidOck and @pufZeppelin ...yunz guys are so smart (and helpful)!!!
I LOVE the T3S coils...they're cheap, last 1-2 months, NEVER gurgle and give me a completely satisfying 7-9 Watts MTL vape.
MV seems to have multiple BCC tanks...but when I Search "Kanger T3S coils"...I get "No Results".
So...1 more question...can the 2.5mL PBC V2 Tank and/or the 3.5mL NBC Tank use the T3S coils???

..

YES - I used them all the time (NBC) and simply LOVED them

Gerry I never talk about those AIO because my attention glazes over with NON replaceable batteries
they just don't interest me at all any more - I see them read a second or two, then clk off into the sunset... :)

I just purchased the aio by Joytech. Ugh. I must have done something wrong. It gurgles and spits and it burned my lip. For those of you who have one any ideas for a fix? It worked fine for 1 day then it erupted like a volcano. You know I was quite happy with buying my eliquid and box of coils now I diy, and now I have to make coils. Ugh. I just want to go back to the way it was......anyway this new minnie is a pita. Suggestions please. I didnt over fill it if that helps.

Not sure if it will help with the aio but it uses the same BF coils (I have never used the 0.6 yet, but plan to order a few boxes) that I use in my cubis and cubis pro tanks and the following technique helps a ton for me with that issue - Joyetech Cubis Pro

Stuff I've read leads me to believe that if I want 2.5ohm kanthal coils for a protank, my best bet would be 6 wraps of 32 gauge. Does that sound right?

SURE 32g will work (think those came stock with 32-33g)

BUT, what I ended up using with great results was 31g around 2mm diameter (a tooth pick)

I liked mostly 1.6Ω (or close) and that took 5 wraps around 2mm of 31g

Whip the mod - sgake it out -after it has sat for a while to shake juice out of the coil. Since the is no where for the juice to go in these types of atties, it just pools in the coil. I am not acfsn, and I have an AIO, a Cubis, and a Goodger (iJoy's answer to the BF coils).

..

Haven't used that particular combo, but sure looks like they'd be fine.

Only issues I ever ran across when I was still using that type was that some chimneys were tight in some toppers. But easy enough to swap in one that fit.

The T3S is pretty much a "universal" for that style clearo, imo.

Thanks. I realized I didn't have all the scripting enabled on that page. Now I see you filled it in for me, I think.

Anyway, I'm wondering if 32 guage is thin enough for a protank 2.5 coil, or if I need to go even thinner. Not much room in there.

Used 32 for those as well, fits fine, although I wound to about 1.8. As said, the "sweet spot" for the airflow restrictions of those. Good flavor, good battery life.

Might I assuuuuuuuuume that the lil Pico is a WHOLE LOT lighter than the adorable lil Cloupor Mini, Mr. Ock?

Gotta lot of nerve making me work....

Pico - 3.21 oz / 91 grms

Cloupor Mini 30 - 4.08 oz / 115.8 gms

Both weighed without topper or battery. So, roughly 3/4 oz heavier. Can't say if that's a whole lot, a lot, or a city lot. But I don't feel much diff in the hand once battery and topper in and on. )

Hi, Nic! Is there a reason you insist on a 2.5Ω coil for your ProTanks? I think you're making your life unnecessarily difficult for yourself.

Anyway, when I started rebuilding my PTs, years ago, I found that ~1.8Ω is ideal for those little coil heads. I started with 4/5 (or 5/6) wraps of 32g Kanthal around a 1/16th drill bit and that worked fine, but I hated the 32g wire--too flimsy. I quickly switched to contact micro coils and 30 and 29g Kanthal and I found my PT bliss--good balance of heat up time and vapor production. You can use a 1/16" or 5/64" drill bit (or a 1.7mm drill bit) for best fit.
Thanks, Katya. Around 2.4-2.7 has worked best for me. My ego minis don't do well for very long with 1.8 (how do you do that ohms symbol?). Even 2.2 has not worked well when the batts start to get a bit old.

Even with my mini mods, I think at very low wattage (which is how I like to vape), I think those higher resistances work a bit better. If micro coils are easier to build (not sure if that's what you mean by making my life difficult), then I could do that, but I still want around 2.5 ohms. Same with for when my Lemo Drop arrives. What wire thickness should I buy for the Lemo, BTW?

You don't sound too grateful for the protection the FDA has deemed upon you. I'm not either, but I'm gonna try to enjoy building coils. Would be more fun if it didn't feel like I have to, though.

Don't have a Lemo drop, nicnik, but the Ω can be had - at least with all versions of Windows and a device with a numeric keypat - by holding down ALT, tap 2, 3 and 4 in succession, the releasing the ALT key.
I'm not on Windows, but I tried it, anyway. Doesn't work, but I copied and will paste yours here:

Ω

I'll save it in a file, to use until I find better way. So, thank you.

Ω Great, I have toothpicks, now all I need to do is order wire. Ω I'll find out first what gauge I need for the Lemo. Ω

Thanks, David. Maybe I'll use 1.8Ω on mods, and 2.5Ω on mini egos. I have a few blister-packed 1.8Ω's I'll try with my pico.
