I don't own a Pico. It looks too short/small/stubby for me too. I've been interested in the istick 60w for awhile. It looks "just right" to me. I suppose you already have one.
Too big for me. And too angular.
I know, Goldilocks...

I really like the looks of the Pico. There's just something about it that makes me go hmmm.

I don't have a VF Lite or Unlite, but I do have the CF4 '650, and Katya, I love it! It's reminiscent of the originally designed CF4, minus the lanyard hook. GREAT hand feel, heavy/sturdy/well-built (whatevs) and just delightful.

...
the Pico is not even an itty bitty, more of a midi bitty. Good hand feel too.

but the VF Lite is better (nuff said)![]()
Thanks, Katya. Around 2.4-2.7 has worked best for me. My ego minis don't do well for very long with 1.8 (how do you do that ohms symbol?). Even 2.2 has not worked well when the batts start to get a bit old.
Even with my mini mods, I think at very low wattage (which is how I like to vape), I think those higher resistances work a bit better. If micro coils are easier to build (not sure if that's what you mean by making my life difficult), then I could do that, but I still want around 2.5 ohms.
Same with for when my Lemo Drop arrives. What wire thickness should I buy for the Lemo, BTW?
3 out of 4 - incomplete answer WRONG

I like the looks, too, but it never feels quite right in my hand. It's too short or something. My pinky goes underneath and I always worry that I'll accidentally change the settings. And I don't like to have to turn it upside down when I actually want to change the settings. I'm not fond of that battery cap on top either. And it's not sealed, so if my tank decides to dump da juice for whatever reason, I have a feeling that some that juice may get into the battery compartment. Paranoia? Perhaps.
I wish they made a full size Pico.![]()
It is with deep regret ...
RIP, you served me well.

In Kanthal A1, I'd suggest some 30, 28 and maybe some 26. They have slightly different heating and cooling characteristics, and for a first time builder, probably best to try the different size wires to see which you like best. I use 30
Wick - rayon. Graham Cellucotton (100% rayon, they also have a cotton/rayon blend, you don't want that!) can be found on line, but is available at Sally's Beauty Supply shops. Cheaper, no shipping costs. Easy to work with, wicks better than cotton, holds up to heat better.
Hey D, I suspect you've been using Kanthal or Nichrome in your attys for a while now and I'll bet it's 32ga Kanthal. I'm just guessing here. 30ga is a little thicker than 32 and easier to work with but will require more wraps to get to your preferred ohms. 28ga is even thicker and easier to work with but again will require even more wraps. 26ga even thicker etc...and you might notice a slower ramp time, meaning it will take a little longer for the coil to heat up. I use 2 twisted 28ga kanthal and there is a slight ramp up time. Usually the first 2 vapes have little flavor and vapor but by the 3rd vape it's great and that applies to if you set the mod down for awhile and come back to it. Once the coil gets warm then you won't notice the ramp up time. You probably wouldn't anyway with a single wire coil. Just a little education on wire.
Wick...Koh Gen Do Japanese Organic cotton found at Amazon or Sephora for around $12 for 60 pads, ebay probably has it cheaper. For Rayon, DavidOck said it best. In my experience rayon wicks faster but cotton holds more juice. Cotton taste funny for the first couple of vapes and then it's great. Rayon tastes great 1st vape. Both have a learning curve...how much or how little to use. You'll figure it out. There's your education on wicks.
To make coil making easy, I would recommend a set of these http://www.coil-master.net/product/coil-master-coiling-kit-v4 You cold just use screwdrivers or drill bits but then you wouldn't know the inside diameter of your coil and this is important because some attys might work best at 2.5 ID and some at 3.0. There's a little info about building coils.Good luck and you know we are here to answer any questions that you may have when you start building.

It is with deep regret that I have to say that my custom etched CF IV that I bought after I finished radiation and was cleared with a clean bill of health has died. She was a good mod. She was a pretty mod. She will be missed.![]()

TY, darling. I love my original CF4--it's so sturdy and solid and reliable. I've never had a problem with an Innokin battery, ever. Au contraire, I wish that some of my old Innokins would die finally, but they refuse. I don't like them anymore (the MVPs feel too bricky and the V3 is way too flimsy for my vaping style nowadays, and I don't use anything eGo threaded anymore), but I have no heart to chuck (recycle) them while they are still working.

Sorry to hear that @pokemom. How long did it last?
That's what I'm thinking...

I hope you guys don't mind the spam, but I decide to start a thread for the real tiny ones since the term "itty bitty" is used pretty loosely in this thread.
If anyone wants to show off anything smaller than a Pico then please stop by
