KBox Problems

I know that mine, once you got below a certain battery life (more than two little dots stopped being lit) it would not fire at 40w, you would have to dial it down or it would just flash. If you wanted to vape at 40w you were looking at changing batteries before they were half empty. That is why I upgraded. I was using a .7 coil.

As for only being able to vape at 20w on a full battery with a .5 coil…I don't know. Depends on the math I guess, and the battery, and how much the device can output. I'm sure someone will be along shortly who can explain it.

The Kbox specs says it can fire down to .5…but I had a problem getting mine to fire at all unless it was .7 or higher with an RBA. It didn't seem to have a problem with a subtank with a .5 coil, but the same resistance coil on my RBA it would just flash and refuse to fire. It was pretty frustrating. Is your friend building coils, or using a tank with prebuilt coils?
