Your killing me I want all these Southern Steam juices more now than I did before!!!! great
reviews fierphy thanks for doing them.
Thanks! I think it's fun trying to describe them. I will say though that Midnight Coal, while good, isn't the same as eating chocolate-for me chocolate is a hard flavor to reproduce in a vape. Midnight Coal to me is more like a chocolate liqueur flavor. Which brings me to the next round of reviews:
Pure VG - About Us - Pure VG A company that is founded by someone with a PG allergy and makes !00%VG liquid. They make 8 flavors of organic, kosher liquid with no PG used in the flavorings.
First up:
Pure-VG's Bad Mocha****er
Description:
"If you're looking for bold but chocolatey, look no further. If you prefer more cream and sugar, check out our Vanilla Latte, wuss."
First impression, damn, they did an incredible job of making a bittersweet dark chocolate mocha vape! This feels creamier due to the high VG content, and super flavorful right away which I really didn't expect from such a high VG liquid. It's such a rich flavor, not as complex as the Midnight Coal since there's no pecan, but the chocolate is spot on, actually they did a better job of replicating real chocolate, and the bit of coffee makes this a perfect mocha vape if you want it with only a hint of sweet and no cream-I'm not missing the cream here at all. I'll say I actually like this one better than Midnight Coal all-in-all! I really love this! Hands down my favorite chocolate vape, it's like a dark chocolate espresso with a hint of sugar. Highly recommend!
While I'm on chocolate vapes here, I'll also review
Grizzly Vapes Simple #2
This is one of 5 new flavors from the man who makes the amazingly complex and wonderful Koko Bear & Nanner Bear. He decided to try making a line of simple flavors that are inexpensive ($8 at 30ml) yet higher quality than other similarly priced juice-always pre-steeped.
Simple #2 is a chocolate/mint, it's a similar chocolate to the Mocha one, but sweeter like tootsie roll chocolate, and with a mild natural minty flavor (not a menthol) which glides over the chocolate and adds a nice cool note. I like that the mint isn't too strong here-just a mild mint leaf.
I also have
Simple #4 which is orange, that's it-orange, the kind of orange that is mild like an orange crush flavor only not as sweet as drinking soda, it's clean & natural, but I'd prefer something more zesty with a citrus vape.
Back to Pure-VG, the strawberry/kiwi is a refreshing natural flavor but needs to cure a bit longer, the almond joy flavor defiantly needs to sit for a while too. But if that mocha one sounds good to you they have a code for 20% off "100purevg" good 'til March 1st.
On to
Seduce Juice-Snake Oil
"Our signature cream base with emphasis on pear, and a hint of coconut."
First impression-the pear is strong here, kind of like a concentrated pear, I never thought of the flavor of pears as 'zesty' but this one is. It's like pear champagne somehow, yet creamy as well. I like the coconut note. I like this one a lot, but there's also a somewhat weird flavor in the base in this one that I'm not quite sure about right now-a note of artificiality maybe, hmmm, will have to revisit later and decide. Maybe my taste buds are fatigued.
Favorite flavor right now is the
Southern Steam-Louisiana Diplomat, I have a feeling I'll be loving this one for a long time.
