Did ANYONE get any Alice in Vapeland this morning?

So Alice in Vapeland (a website, not a store) is opening every week on Tuesday @ 11pm EST. The servers basically crashed that second and I was up till about 1am still trying to order. I wake up and go to class, come home at 2:30pm and their orders are at capacity for the week. They were "open" for about 14 hours this week, a good chunk of which, their site was less than navigable.

That's pretty crappy. At this point, I don't care how good your juices are. I'm not gonna stay up all night like I'm a 12 year old girl trying to get Justin Bieber tickets.

Anyway, if you did get some, congrats.

Meanwhile, any suggestions for some gourmet juices to try? I am already fond of five pawns and Space Jam and can buy them locally. I was thinking of Mother's Milk from Suicide Bunny would be my next adventure. I have also yet to try any Halo flavors.

I don't get what all the fuss is about her juice. It is very weak on the flavor and her bakery juices tastes like rotten food smells. Much better juice available out there IMO.

Ahlusion, Goodlife Vapor, Suicide Bunny, Jamesons, The Standard, Five Pawns all make excellent juice.

I order from Alice and I find it's better to just do it when I get up on Wednesday morning. Usually their website isn't so overwhelmed by then. Giant Vapes is a good alternative but he doesn't carry the Alice juices I like.

This is what I do- Never had a problem getting what I wanted or having to fight server issues. If you can't wait to place an order then AiV is not for you. It IS for me, though.

Well taste is very subjective. I tried 11 of the ones I thought I would like and found 2 that I really like ( 15 foot falls and A Quiet Morning ) and keep bottles of now.

I am a GLV fan since they make the only juice I personally give 5 stars to (again, taste is very subjective). But those 3 are the only ones I've ever re-ordered

I've never had a problem getting an order in at AiV since August of last year. They have been incredibly accommodating for many vapers, and are even accessible through their thread here on ECF. Taste is subjective, but if you don't know how to dial in your vape gear, that'll effect just about any juice you buy no matter how good or bad it is.

Justin Bieber? I wouldn't have a clue, Santana, oh yeah, slept outside the night before to get tickets but that was 30+ years ago and there wasn't any 14 year olds screaming about their undying love.....

AiV isn't MBV, or Halo, *put e-liquid producer name in here*: AiV knows their limitations on the amount and quality of product they can produce every week. This includes the B & M's and Giantvapes that they also supply. I say more power to them for knowing their limitations and not succumbing to mass producing for the sake of sales.

OP, nothing to see here, move along, all the more for AiV patrons to enjoy..........


AiV isn't just an e-liquid.........it's an experience.

...and none of the literally hundreds of samples I ordered from Halo, 5Pawns, Ahlusion, Virgin, Seduce Juice, Vapor Chef, Velvet Cloud, etc., etc., back in August came even close to it, but that's just my opinion, to each his own, whatever it takes to keep you off the stinkies.

No doubt taste is subjective. Depending on the flavor it either tastes like rotten food or dirty socks to me. This is something I get with only MBV type vendors, and thus the reason I do not understand what all the fuss is about.

I juts finished trying all of the flavors in the "A Little Bit Of Everything" sampler, and yes, her flavors are not strong - but that's exactly what a lot of people like, not everyone is a flavor junky who wants their tastebuds rocked every draw. There are companies for that, if that's what you want.

Overall, her flavors are VERY good. I don't notice any particular smell to the baked goods flavors, but you may have a different experience. My take is that all of her baked flavors taste the same to me. But, some of the flavors are extremely good, and as complex and enjoyable as 5 Pawns - 5 Pawns are not 'strong" flavors either, they're very mellow - Gambit almost annoyingly so. 15 Foot Falls, White Rabbit, April Moon, Cherry Blossom, Twas Brillig and Mystic Madarin are worth the price of the sample box, they're excellent. I'm still deciding if I like A Quiet Morning and Afternoon Tea, or if I should try some other tea based vapes before buying more.

I don't think there concerned though they have a large following and sell to a lot of vendor I believe.

However Ive seen them available on another website I cant remember which but I know there are alternative places to order there juice

As does 'Alice'. It's all in our individual taste likes and dislikes. 'Smell' is the same and of course closely associated with 'taste'.

Gambit is a complex and rich vape, not light in flavor at all. Maybe your taste buds have not fully recovered from the analogs. I like both light and rich vapes but the MBV dirty sock syndrome ruins it for me

Now why did you have to go and make it personal? It's ok for you to like it just as much as it is ok for me to dislike it. MBV type vendor means "me too" or nothing special about it, or just another vendor offering the same stuff you can get from dozens of other vendors.

I am brutally honest with my opinions. Many take it personal like I just made fun of their mommy or something Not saying you did, but it happens often. I have been fed "taste is subjective"for juice that only the creator could possible like, and I am not sure they would either. I understand taste is subjective, but dirty sock isn't something only I pick up on in many vendors juice. It used to be very common description before the taste is subjective meme became the norm. Many don't pick up on it, but just as many do, it is nice to see others who do pick up on it to report so.

When I first tried AiV, the 1st flavor I tried was Quiet Morning and initially I didn't like it. Then a few days later I noticed I kept thinking about it and tried it again. Now it is the only flavor I have to have every day. I never get sick of it. Just this week I tried Afternoon Tea for the 1st time, and I think it might be the same as AQM. I thought it tasted like soap at first, then an hour later I tried it again and thought it was okay, but not great. I picked it up again this morning and now I can't put it down.
Try them again, they may grow on you.

I liked AQM and it just really grew on me until I had to order it. I wanted to really like AT but sadly it always tasted burnt to me

OP here. Ok so I'm not as angry anymore. Alice opened her store a bit early on Tuesday to make sure it was working right.

Picked up a 5-pack sampler: White Rabbit, Zombie Apocalypse, 'Twas Brilling, Black & White Cookie, and Fifteen Foot Falls.

I am freakin' stoked to drip these juices on my new .75 ohm dual coil build with boiled cotton wicks. Hope it is worth the wait.

You're exactly right, I keep going back to A Quiet Morning and Afternoon Tea, they've grown on me. I'm letting things steep, too.

I think you misunderstood - I'm not saying "light" in that they're bad - I love Gambit. It's just not over to top strong, like Halo or Tasty Vapor, who are my ADVs. All of 5 Pawns are complex, and they're not blasting your mouth with the flavor notes. I'm learning that to truly appreciate 5 Pawns, you have to spend some time with them, you're not getting the full experience from a couple of draws.
