Best Tips for Using Fluxomizer/Phoenix-style Clearomizers?

I think we can all pretty much conclude that clearomizers still need some work in their design, they have the capacity to work wonderfully if used correctly.

I think the biggest tip I've realized tonight, after a solid weak of only clearomizers, that the drip tip shouldn't be pushed all the way down. I think it forces the juice to stay too low, thus causing wicking issues for top-coil clearo's.

For the Stardust styled ones, doesn't seem to cause any issues. Also, bottom-coils wouldn't seemingly be effected by this...

At first, I didn't do this and kept shoving my drip tips completely down. Perfect seal, but I started having some serious wicking issues. Only burnt tastes. and the coils would glow.

Now I have an increased risk of getting juice in the mouth, which isn't that great, but the consistent performance I've gotten out of my fluxomizers far outweighs that!

Anyone else have some tips for great performance?
