poland, and the brassy lands of google
yeah dude, I shoulda went back looking for your post, I went to micheals and picked up this:

Node:IOGLO000030000900001000040000H0001M0001L0000E000020000J0001Y0000200BF1.ViewAsset

it's setting up to hard but man is it ridiculously slow

I'm now doing a VV grand and I decided to do it much like I do the woods, with an insert for the buttons, I hate big deep switches and I wanted to preserve the black PC so this was the only way to use a smaller fire switch and maintain the black PC. here are a few under construction shots :)

Turbo, that looks really good and deserves a fully quoted reply. Also for the mental bookmarking, which stuff is better for the windows, I only recall Michaels properly, but is the ice resin or the easy cast the one to get? I know it was touted here a while back. I could use improvements in my windows as I'm quite pedantic about what I've got so far.

I'd say the ice resin may be better for thin castings, the easycast looks to be better for thicker pours of over 1" thick. the instructions say a 1" thick pour should take 3 days to harden but thinner castings take longer... I did 2, one was ~1/4" and it's almost hard while one was 1/8" and it's still not as hard

this must be obvious for all of you but I'm just starting on the bottomfeeders...
I'm having a bit of trouble with leaking, I think my "metal tube" is a bit narrow for the plastic hose

could I fix this by increasing the OD of the metal tube? plumbers tape, electrical???

I tried orings and even some copper wire to fasten it as much as possible but just made it worst.

I'm looking for a local fix and not order online and wait for it to be shipped to mexico at 3+weeks

I'm using a fat daddy vapes clone (fasttech) and modified it using the vented pin on one of this (is is a 2 part screw on) I trimmed the bottom shoulder so it would fit but maybe I didn't do it perfect

You could try a drop of super glue on the outside of the tube. Just let it dry and is should give you a slight widening that will hold the rubber tubing on. If it doesn't work, you can always strip the glue off with acetone (nail polish remover). Some folks do this on their reo mods.

Such a subjective thing but I'll throw my :2c: in...I've found for flavour the under air RDA's like the Lancia and Magma really perform...both (especially the Magma) eclipse the D in both size and weight but if you can get past that it's hard to go wrong with them if flavour is your thing.

yeah the under air coil atties do give great flavor. you can also run a nuppin kinda like that, just put the coil in the center, right under the driptip opening and use both side airholes, then the air will slipstream around the coil straight into the driptip, really kills it when it comes to high flavor single coil, especially in a chamber that's kinda too large for a single otherwise, by positioning the coil like this you are removing the excess chamber size from the equation. the nuppin is one of the only atties that can be built like this and if you got a nuppin you gotta try this :)

The best flavor I've ever had bar none, was an eBaron spiral, It's bottom air, but I got tired of building it. It's supposed use NR/R wire, which I didn't, so I a hot leg would have melted the insulator. You have to use silica or recoil it every time the wick gets gunked up. I used it quite a while just because the flavor was so good. Now I use an ERA and a Hornet. I like little efficient attys.

I just tighten those grubs with telekinetic energy, no hex wrench necessary bro

I know I spoke about a coilwinder that I built here in this thread at one point a while ago, said I'd show it here, don't remember even who I was talking to and the thread search doesn't work with the new forum so I can't even go back and look, but I just uploaded a video of it in action and since this is the thread that we discuss mills and lathes and machinery and custom building I guess it's not too far off topic, especially since I only build coils on this thing for bottom feeders :)

so here it is, 18650 powered high tension bottom feeding coil maker :p
