A cool idea from one of the Reonauts in our Reoville outpost down here. He says:

"Its nothing special, I cut the rubber of a juice dripper just a little longer than my button in locked position, a tiny drop of superglue on top of the button and hold it down for a few seconds. Its nice because lock still works.
I only did this because I haven't got to buy button yet and hate that bare button.".

Guys Im a little lost and don't know if I should post here.
Has anyone attempted making a 2nd air hole in Rm 2 opposite the other one fot dual coil builds?

Definitely off topic lol. But I imagine it would be too hard. The hardest part would be starting the hole. Shoildnt be to bad considering how soft the top cap is. Also there is not much room on the other side.

Ive done a 24 G parallel but to hot. Then a single coil 2mm bit, flavour great but still to hot and plenty dry hits. Now I have a 3 mm diameter 6 wraps of 26G but flavour sucks..Temperature is good though.

Sent using a telegraph

I like 30 gauge wire twisted on a 2.5mm rod on my coilmaster. 7 wraps comes out to .95ohms. Smaller wire heats up much quicker to give you that heat and flavor note your after. Keep it close to the side and either centered with the hole or off centered above the hole. Finished off with kgd wick.

Warm and plenty of vapor/flavor.. air hole slightly enlarged by hand so I didn't accidently go to large.

Way off topic so should have been started as a new thread...

I have a lot of RM2's from my early Reo days, so maybe I can help and end this here at the same time.

It's an either or... It would not be hard at all to add a second air intake to a RM2 cap for dual coils, they are soft brass so just put the drill bit through the existing intake (already sized to what you want for MTL or DLH's) and eyeball to drill a straight across second hole. The "or", just stay with and find a single coil that gets done what you are looking for be it a micro, twisted, parallel or whatever coil. The variables are endless when building coils to achieve whatever you want. Might take some T&E to find it for the joose you are running. I take very long lung hits, and build for each joose as a flavor chaser, so use many different coil builds (fav right now is parallel).

FWIW, while some of my RM2's have been drilled larger for my DLH's, none of them have been modded to dual. I see no need as this atty is very versatile as is and very easy to get what you want out of it with the right single coil builds in it.
