Can I re-marry 3 batteries down to 2 batteries?

Just don't remarry the third battery after using the other two separate.
Without significative usage/stress delta among the cells, can be remarried safely.
Keeping a small battery usage journal can be of great help if you have a lot of cells and a need to redistribute teams with certain frequency. Could be tedious stuff, of course. o_O

With a charger that displays MAH readings during charge (like the Xtar VC2 or VC4) you could run both down to the same cutoff and see if the charge rate and MAH reading matches closely. If they match reasonably, use them in a pair and watch the charge rates. If the pair is way off in charge rate, I'd relegate them to single use.
