The cloudmaker doesn't appeal to me at all. I'm still planning on getting a VS DNA200.

I've been using my 3d printed DNA200 and it's pretty awesome.
Don't know which is yours but mine is the lightest mod I ever had. The enclosure weights 21gr

Great little device

I go through 3 18650s a day. I'd rather carry a wider mod than a smaller mod and a couple of batteries that have to be changed (and I drive a lot so changing batteries is no big deal but can be a pain at times).
Ah then you'd be happy with the DNA200 since it supports power straight from a car battery.
Just wondering if there will be any commercial mods available that are offering a connector to hook it up to an external power source.

Maybe he is using a combined TCR from SteamEngine, then it is very DNA200
Now that would be ground breaking as the combination wouldn't be linear I suppose :)

Mine is working great at stock 0.0035

I played with 0.0034 and 0.0036 but comparing to ni 200, I feel the temps were a little off with those TCR.

0.0035 feels spot on (stealthvape Ti).

The spools of thermocouple wire from Omega shipped 7/21 (have been back ordered for a while). I expect to have in hand sometime next week. As soon as I can weld some up, calibrate and install in an atty, I'll post the results. After that, if someone wats to send some wire and the TCR numbers, I can provide actual temps within one or two degrees C.

Hanamodz DNA200 preproduction models are up on the site for $199. https://www.hanamodz.com/

I called and asked what the difference between the "preproduction" and the mass produced ones, they said the faceplate would change a little.

Thank you for the information and link!

Ordered a black one. I have a cloudmaker dna on order but its huge and who knows how long that will take to get here(if ever). I was waiting for a vaporshark but said what the hell.
I also ordered the Phantom Black.

Best Regards,
F2V

From unlocked state press and hold the up and down buttons for a few seconds (till it shows "power locked hold up/down") then double click up or down to get to profile and then single click to change profile.... click fire to set that profile.... press and hold up/down buttons again to exit

So I was a idiot and did find a lifepo4 that could fit(hell its shorter than my lipo right now) in my enclosure.

but how is the situation with the lower voltage of lifepo4s? I remember people being worried that the DNA 200 is going to cutoff too early because of the lower starting voltage.
Just set the battery type in Escribe and you're good.
