Steam Monkey has a preorder for a Vero dna 200 that is configured to use replaceable li-on 18650 batteries
Imagine the weight of that thing!
I already find my 2x 18650 Vapor Flask heavy. Dropping a 3x 18650 mod could crack a tiled floor.
Perhaps 14650 is a nice choice for mods that do lower wattage. At around 1000mAh each they have decent capacity when used 3x stacked.

There are going to be a ton of pre-made mods available using the DNA 200 in a few months. A little patience and the options will abound.

In the mean time, I hope to finish making one (or two or five lol). And the first one will use 3 18650s. My planned form factor for the first one is basically a little taller and a little wider than the height of an 18650 and about 22 or so mm deep. Sort of a square with sides a little longer then the height of an 18650. Yes, I have big hands lol. I have seen a DNA 40 (or maybe it was a clone?) made in this shape and I like the look.

Not a bad idea. The lower total capacity would never work for me but if that's not an issue, your idea would allow for some interesting options. Even 3 18350s would do the job and maybe allow for a recessed 510 or BF bottle in the design.

Really? 3x 14650 will give you more capacity than a single 18650 configuration. So you're saying single 18650 mods aren't enough for you at the moment?
I also use a 2x 18650 at the moment but I'm having no problems with single 18650 either. That's a once a day battery swap for me. Not a big deal.

And you're posting this here because..? :)
Because he's probably happy and wants to share the feeling with his friends?

What's the problem?

Relax, there's no "problem". I just wondered why he posted it in the DNA200 topic since it's got absolutly nothing to do with what the topic is about...

Unless he's vaping it on a dna 200? :D

I go through 3 18650s a day. I'd rather carry a wider mod than a smaller mod and a couple of batteries that have to be changed (and I drive a lot so changing batteries is no big deal but can be a pain at times).

Hanamodz DNA200 preproduction models are up on the site for $199. https://www.hanamodz.com/

I called and asked what the difference between the "preproduction" and the mass produced ones, they said the faceplate would change a little.
Just ordered a navy blue one :D

Ordered a black one. I have a cloudmaker dna on order but its huge and who knows how long that will take to get here(if ever). I was waiting for a vaporshark but said what the hell.
The cloudmaker doesn't appeal to me at all. I'm still planning on getting a VS DNA200.

I've been using my 3d printed DNA200 and it's pretty awesome.

I have a VS DNA30 and a rdna 40., if I don't like the Hana it will be thrown in the vape junk drawer with my 436536435634 versions of the kayfun and ill get the VS, lol.
