When you guys get your Hana 200s can you take some pictures referencing the size to other APVs? It seems to have interesting dimensions and, overall, maybe slightly slightly smaller than the Opus (maybe from the different battery or different size profile?)

From a FB page:

Some relative size comparison. Vapor flask, evolv beta (3d print), v200, vaporshark dna40 (non-user serviceable, 30ml juice, subtank mini

The Hana 200 is 1.57" wide vs the 2.3" for the Opus 200, I wouldn't say that's "slightly slightly smaller". To put this into perspective, this makes the Hana 200 have 30% smaller volumetric size.

I would probably get the cops called on my ... if I bought a RC helicopter haha
The ones I got are mostly indoor types. The WL v911 Pro can be used outside but can't handle wind or breezes over 3mph. I'll probably stick with these micros for a while.

Gosh the Flask is a beautiful thing, I want to magically fit the DNA 200 in mine.
I never saw the draw of the Flask shape. I finally got to handle one last weekend and I found it awkward to hold and fire.

The v200 looks like a Beta case clone. I like that.

Four months warranty for an electronic device that costs $250? Are people ok with this...?
That four month warranty from Hana is worth SOOOO much more than my "1 Year Warranty" that I bought my first high wattage Chinese box for.

They marketed the crap out of that 1 Year Warranty. At 2 weeks old, I plugged in the internal charger in the first time, and the chip never worked again. After about 6 weeks of back and fourth with the manufacturer trying to get them to let me send it to them for diagnosis, I gave up and accepted it was a loss at my expense. The brick still collects dust.

So I'd definitely take a 30 or 90 day warranty even from a company like Hana over a lot of the "1 Year" warranties that companies know they won't have to support if they don't feel like it.

I'm not buying a Hana or anything, I'm already running my DNA 200 mod, I just saw your post and wanted to mention them having that warranty would be a selling point for me, just because they usually offer the customer service one would expect.

I ended up being told by Pioneer4You that because I ordered my mod from them when they announced it and took orders, I was screwed. The warranty advertised was intended for people who bought from third parties.

When it comes to overseas mods now, I only buy on the disposable camera principle or its not worth it.

So I'm getting a little impatient waiting to get my hands on this chip. I've got a Whiteout pre-ordered but that probably won't ship out for another month. I've already passed on the Opus and now that I see Hana's offering, I'm not really impressed. I don't care for the buttons, the lines on the side and I'm concerned with being able to swap out the battery once it no longer holds a charge without destroying the chip in the process. I ran across Militia Mods today and seen that they were offering the DNA200 with a 1850 lipo. I'd appreciate if anyone would care to chime in with any thoughts or opinions before I end up buying it or the Hana.

It's a shame I can't pick up a ready to use enclosure like I did last year with the DNA40 and the $5 Cana boxes. I would have already made my own and wouldn't be so impatient.

Here's my first Ti coil, it's 0.37Ω, 26 gauge with 2.7 mm id.
Here's what I did, used SteamEngine's calculator, selected Ti, selected 0.4Ω, downloaded CSV file and loaded/saved settings.
Is this pretty much correct?

It seems to work pretty good but hits TP rather quickly. (28 watts, 450F)

Really, hmm for me the ultimate form factor. You can hold it all day and there is no fatigue.
Honestly I never saw the appeal of the flask. I held one once and it felt really weird. And you have problems man. Holding a mod ALL day. let go of it once in a while. :|

Oh is that how the CVS works? You have to make a coil beforehand and then pick the ohm load? PS: you can put in 0.37 in steam engine. you just have to type the number yourself

I thought it was just a curve for the type of wire not that you had to put in a different calculation every time you make a new coil. :nah:

Check with the modders and see what battery and what connector they're using. A lot of modders are using standard connectors on their designs so the battery is just plug and play. I'd recommend buying one like that, so you can use a LiPo charger or change batteries, whatever you prefer.

I don't know what hana uses, and the more custom cases built crazy small and compact and the more cramped space is, then there is more need to save space by hard wiring instead of connectors. But it would be worth asking.

There's a lot of modders designing and testing with Evolv boards that are doing things right as far as batteries and connectors and user access, so you should be able to find a mod to fit your needs.

But LiPo in itself doesn't mean it's not user accessible. If it's set up proprietary, that's the manufacturer or users preference.

I'd definitely recommend finding modders and manufacturers using one of the standard connectors, so you can charge a 2000 or 3000 mah battery in 15 or 20 minutes when you need it, instead of several hours through USB.

I didn't know that you can type in there, good. I tried the aprox. .0035, curve comes out about the same as when using 0.34Ω.
All new to me.

It doesn't really matter what resistance you type in. The csv file will be standardized to 1 at 70F

You can use the same file for all your Ti builds as long as you use grade 1 Ti.
.

Thanks for the clarification. Spooked me as I just downloaded the CSV and kept moving...never assumed it would need resistance to make the file.
