    Dear Guest,

The  #WeAreVapor campaign has just launched and needs your help. This is a massive push to get vapers and vapor businesses visible, and make Congress aware of the Cole-Bishop amendment. It is being organised by the Vapor Technology Association.

Please take a minute of your time to take a look at the site to see how you can get involved.

Its about time mine got cleaned, its getting a bit tasteless and losing vapor production

    cheers,

Ah thanks for the information! Hard to sift through and find stuff like that so a thread with one topic in helps a lot.

In addition, do you know of any vids showing this? Dont wanna pop an atty :p

    Im thinking?:

    Blow out excess juice.

    Rinse in hot water.

    Blow out excess water.

Dry burn gunk off coil until sizzling stops / glow occurs fast

After each orange glow blow into atty

Stop, let it cool for 10 mins + rejuice, prime + vape

    sound good :p?

Pretty close, just make sure not to let the atomizer get any hotter than a nice orange glow.
And keep dry burning until no more smoke comes off the atomizer and it glows all the way across.

Then rinse it one last time to get the ash out.

The link above goes through it step by step, and works great.
I printed it out and used it the first time, but it's so easy that you don't need the instructions after the first time.

And I'm not aware of any videos.

Personally i think dry burning atomizers sucks the life out of them. The ones i have done it too didn't last very long. Using alcohol is the best way i have found to clean atomizers.

Mine are lasting pretty much forever, I'm on my second atomizer in 15 months.
But to be fair, only about 7 months of that (so far) has been exclusive use of only one atomizer.

Cheers for the tips DC2, one question. If you rinse the ash out, dont you have to dry burn all over again until it stops sizzling so its dry?

Yes, but it's no big deal though, and if you don't rinse the ash out it will probably taste pretty nasty when you're done.

Yes, it is really quick to burn off the water when the gunk is gone.
When the entire coil is glowing orange again the water is pretty much gone.

At that point you should be ready to go.
Maybe takes about a 5 second burn.
