I've seen it come by too several times today, I think it has something to do with the word-association function in the forum-software.

Firefox user here by the way, I don't know why @retired1 doesn't see it but I don't think it's browser related. Might have something to do with his admin status, idk.

I've been having a terrible time trying to tag people lately.

I can start the tag with the first couple letters of the member name and get the dropdown list s usual...

I make my selection and get the usual....

But when I touch the space bar or start entering the next word this happens...

The only to avoid it is to hit that double space(?) Arrow in the lower right corner of my keyboard. Then use the backspace to go back to the text and finish the message.

I see it on the first post, katdarling's link and a conversation -- but not when I or others type batteries here. The letters are red and the one I checked is a link to:

https://vaping.com/parts/<a href= which gets to a 404 Not Found.

I see it with FireFox on a desktop.

I have seen it several times, different threads, no real consistency to a word being typed. I use Firefox on both my Android phone and Windows 7 laptop. No addons other than perhaps adblock on the laptop.

1. This forum isn't going anywhere.
2. No, vaping.com does not use bluecheck.

Good job ECF. This hiccup appears to have been fixed. At least I have yet to encounter it today. Still having issue with tagging folks tho. Oh well.
