I finally got my box from VapeNW!!! YAY!!! They sent it out the day after I placed my order which is pretty good, but then it sat in Seattle WA at the post office for 8 freaking days before coming out to VA and to my mail box. Finally got my RX200! So Happy!!

Now I am rocking my MuTank on it with dual SS304 3mm 7 wrap. this thing is rocking on temp control.

What temp are you vaping at?

I usually am in that resistance range too(except with stainless). 70 watts is pushing a .5 ohm coil pretty hard, IMHO. Regarding the dry hits, you might try increasing your coil diameter as this will get more wet wick close to the coil. Oh, and do you wick rayon?
No rayon here... I just use cotton bacon. what kind of build shall i try with the 26g ss316L wire i have for max vapor production?

Are you trying to use TC or just wattage mode with the SS316?

I ask because I have found much better results by using spaced SS316 coils for TC.

I have it at 50w 500F. But now Im running to a problem... Between my MuTank, MT, Aromamizer and Ohmega Alpha I seem to have forgotten what build is in what tank... First world problems right?? although I did build my Twisted Messes RDA with 22g Kanthal, 3.2mm 7 wraps... that thing is a monster at 120w... But I woke up today lost as to what was in my different tanks. They are all between .28 and .4 ohms, I just cant remember which ones are 24g 304 and which are 26g 316l

Keep a spreadsheet :). @Marc411 does. I know because when he showed it to someone else, that person asked, "What's a Roxy coil?" :). I thought that was funny. I may have to do it now as well though since I'm using so many wire types and these fancier builds like Claptons.

I'll bet that Roxy coil is a schmexy, high performance wonder of a coil!:hubba::headbang:

I used to remember every build I had in 20 different RTAs! And what juice!

But, I'll forget what I had for dinner, or what day of the week it is.
Its really bad when you simply forget to EAT dinner....

I've tried them both and can't really get above 70w comfortably or 450-460° . I dislike spaced coils because they are too fragile for my liking.

Koopor plus - tried both Watt and tc mode
What Thunder said, Kush. What mod, and what mode?

That happens, too, though more an illness or lack of appetite issue. I need to gain weight, but I often have no appetite. Or I'm hungry but after 2 bites I'm not anymore.
There are things u can vape to stimulate your appetite......;), what state do u live in

One of the wrong ones. And my pain management doctor does random pee tests to see what his patients are up to. He didn't ask last month so I guarantee he will ask during my Fri appt.

Ok, using 26ga316L, try twisted pairs (1.5mm pitch), 3mm mandrel, 9/8 wrap duals. That would make .2Ω, come in to the green at 70 watts and not get into red until 140 watts (100-200 mW/mm^2). That should be pretty foggy, I 'magine. Hot, too, or I miss my guess :)

ok cool thanks @suprtrkr. How do I make the pitch 1.5? Could I possibly twist 3 or 4 strands together? And how do you think it would compare to parallels?

A lot of people use a drill motor. I personally clamp the free ends of the wire in a small vice grip, stick the loop through the center hole of the wire reel, and twist it using the dental probe I use for a cotton hook. To make the twists the right length, count 10 ripples in the wire and keep tightening them until the 10 measure 15mm on a ruler. (1.5 pitch is not a requirement; that's just what I specified in Steam Engine as that's a nice tight twist and about where I wind up when I look at a twist and think "enough." Changing the twist pitch will change both ohms and heat flux, but you can put it into Steam Engine with whatever pitch you get. Count 10, measure and divide by 10. I do.) It is perfectly possible to twist 3 or 4 strands together if you like. Steam Engine will also happily calculate that for you as well. Be aware so doing will change ohms and heat flux (and wraps). I'm not sure what you mean as to how it compares to parallels. A twisted pair has less resistance and more surface area per length than parallels in the same wire size.
