I agree @BoostAddict. Each one has their pros/cons. Maybe I just got tired of the mt-rta and needed a change of scenery, who knows!! Hahaha my next purchase is either going to be the 5ml Diablo or something new. Or maybe a mutank?? Opinions anyone??

^griffin - swapping the build to ss316L
I don't have one, but those juice channels look small for deep subohm work.

I have twisted 28g ss317L in the griffin, really like the ss wire. You should give the mutank a try, it better then the mt in many ways.
And by many you mean like 3 ways, moar juice, better top fill, and more deck options. Or am i missing something? ;)

Touche, I never noticed the airflow doesnt close on the MT, usually have it open, or one side half closed.
It is alleged to close. It is possible to adjust the AFC so both ports are covered. But it doesn't actually close because the AFC ring is loose :)

Ah, gotcha, never noticed it, but just tried and same thing on my MTs. Though, I'm not sure why anybody would want to have no airflow, seems counter productive.

I find it handy for filling, but in no other circumstance :)

You can close the afc all the way on the MT. You just have to turn it the right direction.

I can sort of sort of chain vape the Griffin at 110W. When I say sort of, I'm the limitation because I have 6mg juice in it. After about 6 puffs I'm going woo! So if I'm going to chain it til its empty I'm going to have to lower my nic for it. The juice channels don't seem to be limiting it. If I got a dry hit at that power level I would probably want to cut my head off.

I don't go too sub-ohm. Normally keep my builds between .3-.5, but honestly I think it works pretty well. Although I haven't fully figured out the best way to wick it yet. Keep getting dry hits when in Watt mode at around 70w

I usually am in that resistance range too(except with stainless). 70 watts is pushing a .5 ohm coil pretty hard, IMHO. Regarding the dry hits, you might try increasing your coil diameter as this will get more wet wick close to the coil. Oh, and do you wick rayon?

26 core fused Claptons wrapped in 32. No wick ring. I don't even know what I did with it. It kept getting stuck in the chimney and I got POed. I'll take a pic later. I just rewicked last night as I wanted to change flavors. Its 0.17 ohm, which is the lowest I've ever built. Those are some big coils. Next time I use that wire I'm probably going to put it in that 30mm Ohmega BFT.

However, my juice consumption isn't so bad because its so powerful I only need a few puffs like once every 40 minutes!
