Hey guys. As Innokin product users, I hope you all can help me.

I recently got the Coolfire IV Storm Edition (with the iSub G) and was wondering if any of you have tried using the .5 ohm clapton coils in it? I primed up a new coil and let it sit in the tank overnight, but it still tastes burnt at all wattages, and the vapor production is horrendous. Is the iSub G not compatible with those coils?

Also, has anyone had problems with the standard .5 ohm coils? Mine wear out after 2-3 days of vaping, which seems just ridiculous.

My standard .5 ohm coils last for weeks, I run them at roughly 20 watts.

I found that the clapton coils take several tanks before they "break in". Once they do they work awesome (for me at least)

yes, that seems the case more than not
always tell them Start LOW, work your way up
then they start out middle to high, burn wick
THEN and only then, they decide to start way low - but-it's-to-late

not sure if this is the case now, but I'm sure you & I have both read it 1000 times

I'm still in the stone age with coils. 28ga kanthal, 8 wraps on a 3mm mandrel, and a cotton wick with fanned ends on the coil deck.

I bought a roll of titanium wire the other day. It's time to try TC on my new Smok Koopor Plus 200W.

No you are at turn of the century. Stone age is silicon wicks, nichrome, 1.8 ohm

That would be me.
Fire bad, wheel round?
MVP PRO charge lasts 12 days though.
And I prefer 2.2 ohms.
I refuse to be a hobbyist, just a non smoker.
