I would love to see a size between the VV3 and the MVP myself, but that's partly a personal problem. I have bad hands, so I'll never want a pv with batteries that have to be changed out. For the same reason I like my VV3s, but as a chain vaper the charge doesn't last long enough. So I was using one or both of the VV3s as a pass through, which meant a lot of charging cable spaghetti. So when the price on the MVP came down I got one, and I do really like it, but it is too big and heavy for me and the button is hard for me to push.

So what I have to do is start the day with the MVP, but switch back to the VV3s when my hand wears out. So while it probably wouldn't be practical it sure would be nice from my point of view if there was a size between the two. Maybe as battery technology improves they'll be able to come up with something the size of the VV3 that will work for the whole day. In the meantime I'm still a happy member of the Innokin army.

IF Innokin could get retailers to stick to the MSRP... VV3s would be close to 40 and MVPs 70. A tweener at 50-55 might make sense. Or they drop the MVP because of the VTR. Not likely as many as are being sold. I think you are right, the price is too close now. That's the main reason I haven't sprung for a 26.99 VV3. Or a 19.95 ego/vision/clone VV.

Before the MVP2 I purchased 2 VV3's and to be honest I love the VV'3. Sure one won't last an entire day, but with 2 and my MVP 2 I get plenty of use out of them. I love it's square, not long, and has both VV and VW options. They feel light in the hand and the fire button is a pleasure to work and in the right place.

I'll admit I got my first couple MVP's for fun. They're the Shine editions and I thought they looked cool. Then I used it, and it blew me away. It is tied with my ProVari for 1st place, second is my Zmax (sigelei) v5. I finally ordered an ordinary MVP 2, got a sweet leather casing for it, and I'll probably get another IBT for it as well. This little thing has made it into my steady rotation. Why so many? I'm too lazy to swap flavors so I have a different tank with different juices on each mod I own.

I almost have the exact same setup minus the IBTanked's

I bought a couple of MVP 2's, then went to a ZMax v3 as a "backup replaceable battery mod for the Vapocalypse". Then I went to a vape show and used the ProVari and it ruined me.

My MVP2's are still my daily drivers out and about. My ProVari never leaves the house but gets used nights and weekends "almost" exclusively.

My V3 sadly sits in my drawer awaiting those rare times when I want to leave the house with a tube mod rather than a box mod....

My ProVari is the same, home only. I'll take my Zmax out sometimes. Depends on if I'm driving or not. If I'm driving I like my ego styles, they fit nicely in my hand when it's on the wheel. If I'm the passenger, MVP.

OT - but your post reminded me. After a lifetime of riding with drivers who scared me to death, wore my foot out mashing the "phantom" brake pedal on the passenger side, and closing my eyes when I thought sure we would crash....My rule for the last couple of years is I am never a passenger. I drive, or I don't go!:D

I'm actually waiting for an MVP out there to die, so someone can take it apart and show us what the insides look like! Just as long as it's not mine!!! ;-)

I'm particularly hoping that inside it has a pair of 18650's in it (that could be replaced with a soldering iron!!!)

youtube: Type in "Innokin itaste MVP issue" and select video to see inside MPV - two rectangular pancake batteries connected with flex cable - not obtainable nor replaceable by the average bear.

I'm the opposite, I HATE driving with a passion. Always have. Which isn't good when your husband tends to get sent off to other places for a few days/weeks/months/a year. Hence my must vape while driving issue...lol

In my opinion, you have have basically two choices in a regulated mod.

The MVP or the ProVari.

These two devices can't be any more different, but in my opinion, it's the only two choices to be had.

The MVP2 is your value move. It is probably the best bang for your buck. It's a great vape, has great features, and is capable of being a primary vape and quality backup vape. It's also easy and inexpensive to replace. And it's best part is that it's disposable. There is no expectation it will last. It's built well enough to last throughout it's battery life and that's it. You use it until it fails and you replace it. End of story.

The ProVari is your long term move. It has 4 years of proven design and performance. It is a quality built. It's more expensive by a factor of 4 but it will last. It may not have all the features of some of the newer mods, but it does what it does extremely well.

The other 33.3 hz mods are fine products but they dupe you into believing you have something that will last forever and you later find out you don't. At least the MVP doesn't set you up for disappointment. You know going in, it's going to fail eventually.

For the new generation of DNA based units, time will tell. There are many choices out there and they look to be high quality, but time will tell whether these units will pass the test of time.

People can complain about the ProVari being long in the tooth. I was one of them. But one thing about being long in the tooth....It's proven to last.

If I am looking for a year long investment, I'd go with an MVP. If I want something to last longer, it's a ProVari.

Just a head's up, but there's a whole world outside of this board. Check Redit or Calivapers. There are a lot of regulated mods that sell well.
