The petition to "Urge the FDA to re-work the deeming regs so that life-saving vapor products can remain on the market!" passed 100,000 signatures so maybe that will help.

Here-Urge the FDA to re-work the deeming regs so that life-saving vapor products can remain on the market! | We the People: Your Voice in Our Government
Don't know if any of you know about "A Billion Lives", a movie coming out about how we are being lied to. First trailer released today. Don't know if it will help, hope they release it soon and everybody watches it and wakes up.

Sometimes I just have to ask myself what the heck innokin is thinking? The main selling point of the IV was the body style. Small and sleek with excellent ergonomics. That tube mod comfort in a box. Also, some very attractive colors. So what do they do to "improve" it? If you want more Mah then you would buy the MVP not some steroid-ed out version of what was a nice little rig.:glare: They are offering us what they already offer.

It's the VV3 thing all over again. The VV3 was one of the greatest little sticks out there and they sold astronomical numbers of them. Then they "improved" it with the VV4. When is the last time you heard some one say anything good about a VV4? The only time you even hear the letters VV any more is when some one finds a stash of old VV3's being offered somewhere.

I just hope they are going to discontinue the IV like they did the VV3. Then I can pick up a couple cheap on close out for the future and be done with buying removable battery mods.

Innokin is much like Provari. Intense about quality and even more so about safety. All the R&D makes their products late to market. Everyone is squawking about the new Provari Radius. No temp control. Only 40 watts. It is a philosophy of building rugged mods. They have their niche in the huge market.

I think both P and I look at the current state of battery technology and build within a margin of safety. Are they behind or are others dangerously ahead?

Perhaps a little of both. I agree with Provari that TC is temperature guessing. It is wildly inaccurate and the choice of certain metals could even be dangerous. When they get a true temp sensor that allows Kanthal to be used I'm sure it will take off. Are they losing market with the tardy releases? I'm sure they are but that is their decision. We are now see lawsuits starting in the industry and many more will follow.

I agree with all that, but I hope they wait a while to discontinue them; I need a gold and purple one to make my set "complete". :D Figured those would be my next year's updates.

Sp... they don't have the power switch on the bottom? Well... that's almost a deal breaker -- I like that switch a lot, to save wear and tear on the fire button.

wonder how long it will be before one will be able
to buy the new PLUS ‘stand-alone’ without the tank...
(an attempt to force feed another-IMO-poor product) :sneaky:

I’ve no desire in the isub tanks, thus don’t wanna pay for it

:?:

:(

Absotively agree with this; no interest whatsoever in any sub-ohm anything, or any tank of any kind. I'm playing in that CF4+ contest thread, but if I won one of those, I'd either PIF or sell the tank.

Well then I guess I'll stick to my original plan, and my updates for next year will just be the gold and purple CF4s. The really great thing about the CF4+ is that it will push the CF4s' prices even lower, as the K4 did to the KFL+'s. :D :thumb: :D :thumb: :D

the original was very appealing to me...
so I waited & waited (and waited some more)
but the coil selection NEVER came
so months later they finally release a “2.0Ω”

WOW ! thanx a lot…

so no Ω choices, non rebuildable
felt like I was standing in Tokyo traffic trying to cross the street
everything kept flying by, I’m just standing there waiting
on the innokin bus that never came…

(I moved on, needless to say)

pufZ...Nice side-by-side pic of the CF4 and CF4+...

Have you run across any weight/dimensions comparisons between the two?

Again, a day late and a dollar short. 70 watts has been around for a while and still no temperature control of any type. Why can't they get their "ship" together? Really disappointing.

Over on Reddit, innokin paul has stated that they aren't backing the current method of TC due to safety concerns. I really respected innokin as a company for that.

Provari has also stated the current method is nothing but a guess. Wildly inaccurate.

but don't ya think it looks a little bigger and probably a lil heavier (but not by much)

I like it, but afraid the price is gonna make me seek another (we'll see)
