Thanks inswva! I still had trouble with the driver, had to choose to extract the files and point windows to them in the yihi program files directory. This seems to be a pretty rough cut, My .17 dual coil Ti build was burning @ 420f and 75J, feels better at 50J and 350f (it's way hotter than that if the Ni temps are to be believed). Still the most satisfying TC build yet for me. Probably just need more wraps for that extra power!

Worked for me as well. Just a reminder for the less technologically advanced, like me, because I did not realize it for like 10 minutes: After downloading the SXI software, go to connection and download the drivers for your IPV4 before connecting it. If you don't, it won't let you install the download because it will not recognize that the device is there, even if your computer does.

I wonder if this changed the mapping for nickel at all (realizing that sounds silly). I noticed my Smok TCT nickel coils were performing a bit differently in Ni200 mode (not as good). They also refused to work in titanium mode unless I set the temp to like 570, then barely. I only tried this because someone with an IPV3 Li had mentioned their RDA (I think) with nickel was able to be run in titanium and take advantage of the extra 50 joules available. I also noticed that my Arctic nickel coils can take a bit more wattage in my DNA200 device so maybe its just the composition of the TCT coils.

Umm ... not exactly like this. Some folks are exploiting the 100J for Ni200, but not by vaping Ni200 in Ti mode. On the 3Li, they set their joules in Ti before switching to Ni200 mode where the Joules setting remains unchanged. But, they are moving back onto the Ni200 TCR mapping.

You need a micro USB cable to connect the IPV4 to your computer. Here are the update instructions posted on Reddit-

3. Install the SXi Program

4. Open said program

5. Turn off your IPV4, remove the batteries, and plug in the USB cord

6. Click the connection icon

7. Click install driver.

8. Install the driver for the IPV4 (should be the only option)
