You need a micro USB cable to connect the IPV4 to your computer. Here are the update instructions posted on Reddit-
1. Download the SXi update package here New SXi upgrate package_product upgrate_Download_IPV Electronic Cigarette -

2. Download the IPV4 Update here ipv4 upgrade software for 120w with Ti wire 100J test_product upgrate_Download_IPV Electronic Cigarette -

3. Install the SXi Program

4. Open said program

5. Turn off your IPV4, remove the batteries, and plug in the USB cord

6. Click the connection icon

7. Click install driver.

8. Install the driver for the IPV4 (should be the only option)

9. Close out of the driver pop up

10.Click connect

11.Click return (the icon at the top center of the window

keep getting device not found any ideas thanks

Same thing happened to me on several different computers. It was not detecting my device even though the IPV4 was connected with a USB cable. Finally I searched Windows help. Went into Control Panel settings-> Hardware and Sound-> Devices and Printers-> Add a device. Once the laptop recognized the IPV4 device I could install the USB driver and perform the firmware upgrade. Good luck!

yes, windows 7(ultimate) will work.
Cool, will try again. I used wire that came with IPv4 was saying it was connected into usb, went into computer settings made sure added device. Plugged in with no batteries. Hit down load. It Starts loading but comes up with error. I going to try again in a.m. Thxs. I drive a truck for a living and use app on phone to send this, so not computer friendly.

Driver on the update won't install

Did the upgrade a few hours ago, well, had my friends autistic nephew do it for me, took him 5 minutes to do it. Super bright 12 year old. Anyways mine goes up to 120 watts and joules. Does your guy's do to? Vapes great with my double twisted Ti 24 gauge parallel build at 105 joules 450°F.

Thanks inswva! I still had trouble with the driver, had to choose to extract the files and point windows to them in the yihi program files directory. This seems to be a pretty rough cut, My .17 dual coil Ti build was burning @ 420f and 75J, feels better at 50J and 350f (it's way hotter than that if the Ni temps are to be believed). Still the most satisfying TC build yet for me. Probably just need more wraps for that extra power!
How do u extract file and point at a directory. I been trying to download since this post started. I followed everything exact. I under stood everything on thread to a (T) except this post pointing windows at direction. (Dont get it) So this must be why I'm downloading and keeps giving me a error.

I can recite the steps word for word, how to update.

But how do put windows in the yihi!!!

(1) I got windows7ultimate its compatible from what I been told. 2) wire that came with IPv4. It shows on screen its connected into usb. 3) I added device in setting to my computer. 4) batteries out. 5) Start to download driver it looks like it's working then says error 6) I have both files to download p4u website everything...)

Maybe I'll have one of my nephews that are in middle school do it, lol. (Not that they vape.)I don't want to go to my vape shop and have them do it.
